He was disrespectful, dismissive, could care less that I am in severe foot pain- No help or recommendations for PT. Never asked history. The worse Dr. I have ever seen. A complete waste of my time - can't even believe he is still practicing.

Amongst all the very similar commentary I have as others’ negative experiences with him, I’m mostly concerned with the fact that Dr. Kodros told me I had a sprained ankle when in reality I was walking around on a broken foot. He even told me it would be okay to do yoga and Pilates. Thank God I trusted my gut and got a second opinion.

Had zero compassion. Was completely preoccupied. Was no help.

Dr. Kodros performed surgery on my broken ankle about a week ago, he inserted 9pins (screws) and a plate with incisions on both side of the ankle. First I have to say that selecting a doctor that you have never had any prior experience with is often a very difficult process. You continually second guess yourself (sicnce it is your life and health in question) am I making the right choice with this doctor is he competent, is he telling me the truth. I always get and believe in getting two to three opinions from other doctors before selecting one. Before meeting Dr. Kodros I did meet with an other doctor, who may or may not have done a good job I'll never know. I read a lot of reviews on Dr. kodros none of them bad, but of course you always have someone that unhappy and they are the ones that can never be pleased. I just have to say that so far I have nothing but high praise for Dr. K and his nurse Elizabeth they have been incredibly warm compatianate and out going. Answering any question that I may have had or making adjustments to my cast. The surgery was performed on a Tuesday at the outpatient surgery center on Waukegan in Morton Grove. The people there were great the process was a breeze so supprizing, I was in and out in less thansix hours. When I was released I was given prescriptions for pain meds, which I am not a fan of but took them to stay ahead of the nerve block wearing off, it turned out that after the first 36 hours I had almost zero pain and did not need the meds. It's now been a week post op and still doing well. I will just end this post by saying that Dr. kodros took his time to explain everything to my wife and I he was patient and answered all of our questions in a very professional manner. He is a great doc, great bedside manner don't be afraid to use him. He uses a conservative approach. Not trying to sell me surgery! Very informative and listened to my needs. He spent a great amount of time with me. I really liked his NO b.s. personality. I am scheduling surgery with him due to his impressive education!!

Dr. Kodros was incredibly dismissive, arrogant, and flippant during my visit. His level of disrespect for me as a patient was unacceptable. I will never go back to his office, and will make a point to lead as many away from his practice as I can. On top of this, after prolonged discussion about the particulars of my appointment, his staff still managed to mis schedule me. I do not doubt his medical knowledge or ability, but his interpersonal skills leave MUCH to be desired.

Excellent doctor. Very kind and compassionate. Dry sense of humor. Excellent surgeon and diagnostician.

Am very young for such a serious foot problem. I can't walk much due to extreme pain with walking and told him it has been years, age 37-40. He recommended an orthotic and calf stretches. Needless to say, orthotics increased numbness and calf stretches, since bending 1st MTPJ is the problem, increases pain. I still can hardly walk over a year after this appointment. I think he didn't take the severity seriously. I use a knee walker to do my job.

Not very friendly or helpful. Only spent a couple minutes reading over an extensive history of charts and images. Essentially, if he doesn't have an immediate solution for you off the top of his head, he won't go out of his way to find one. ~ Not sure, can't help you.
