Parents if you are looking for an amazing Neurologist, Dr. Janousek is your doctor. When we started seeing him my son was having several seizures an hour. With the right cocktail of medications, he became almost seizure free in 1 year. Thank you, Dr. Janousek and his team. Anytime you call his office you get help immediately and follow through is amazing.

Dr. Janousek has been my oldest childs Neurologist for 8 years now. He has a wonderful calming demeanor. He truly cares about his patients well being not just from a clinical approach but a personal one as well.

Fantastic doctor. My daughter has been seeing him since she was 3 weeks old. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a neurologist. He's great with children and knows what he is doing.

Unbelievable experience with Dr. Janousek. It took us a while to get the appointment but it was definitely worth it. He spent about an hour with us. We did not feel rushed at all and felt like he really took as much time as we needed. He was able to connect a few random concerns we were having about our son and we left feeling like we finally understood what the situation was. I can’t recommend him enough. Dr. Janousek is not only a great Dr. But a lovely human being. We have a young child with difficulties that have been difficult to understand and put our heads around and not only did he provide us with a safe base for competent care, but he helped us masterfully with the intensity of emotion and fear that has come along with the medical concerns. Unique in the medical field, he had the empathy necessary to attend to the full experience of our situation not just the neurology. My 17 yo son sees Dr. Janousek and has for the past few years. He is always very friendly! Listens and doesn't give up. He is always trying something new to make his headaches and life better! I would definitely recommend him!

Dr.Janousek has been our sons neurologist since he was born. He is by far one of the best Dr's we've met. He has successfully helped manage our sons epilepsy. Our son actually looks forward to his Dr appointments with Dr.Janousek because he's so friendly and fun. Dr. Janousek saw our son after a concussion (football). Dr. Janousek did a fantastic job of making sure that West was 100% - I'd recommend this doc and this clinic for any parent that has any concerns about the potential short-term and long-term issues related to concussion.

Dr. Janousek has been our son's neurologist since birth. He is wonderful with both our son and with us. Always very friendly. Even though he is very busy, he has always made us feel like a priority. Most important he has helped our son get his seizures and movement disorder under control.

We saw Dr. Janousek for my 4 year old son. He took a lot of time to explain what was going on, educated us and patiently answered all our questions. He was very knowledgable and after seeing a few other doctors we finally found someone who we could trust.

Dr. Janousek has seen my daughter, age 11, for migraines. There have been some side effects from the medications, but Dr. Janousek and his nurse Tracy respond quickly to my calls and seem very open to my ideas. I have felt that none of my concerns are too small for Dr. Janousek and he cares about my daughter's well being.

He is a very caring and understanding doctor. Spent almost a whole hour with us on our first visit. Highly recommended!!

Dr Janousek has been caring for my daughter since she was a few hours old. He is the one doctor that has always seen her first as a person not as a case. He makes sure that whatever we are doing to stop seizures does not interfere with her personality. He does such a great job of focusing on maintaining who she is while still preventing seizures. I cannot imagine a better neurologist for my daughter.

My daughter throws a fit with the news of seeing any kind of doctor, except Dr. J. She remembers how he let her bang him on the head to test her strenghth. She gets excited with the news of a Dr. J visit.

My son has seen Dr. Janousek for the past 3+ years, beginning with an episode that brought us to Children's Hospital in Mpls. following an out-of-the-blue grand mal seizure. Dr. Janousek diagnosed and treated (and continues to treat) my son's epilpesy and I have always found him to be knowledgable and reassuring He has a wonderful rapport with my child and a terrific sense of humor. We have never felt rushed during an appointment with him. The staff in his office is fabulous, from the front desk to the appointment schedulers to the triage nurses. If our son has to go through life with this issue, we are so grateful that we have Dr. Janousek to guide us.

Dr. Janousek began treating my daughter for absence seizures. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but very caring. He takes as much time as needed to answer all of the questions we have and makes sure we have the best treatment plan.

My daughter has Down Syndrome, and some unrelated neurological issues discovered by Dr. J. when she was just a few months old. We've been seeing him ever since. He ALWAYS takes as much time as I need to understand the information he's told me. He's awesome with my daughter, and has picked up on things that our gazillion other specialists haven't. Out of all the specialists we see, he's one of my favorites.
