Dr. Steven A Hobbs

He belittled, disrespected, and humiliated me. He lacked empathy and did not care about my well-being. He was condescending, derogatory, and unwilling to listen. He passed judgement on my condition for no rhyme or reason. Each session with him was a waste of time and money. He is an incompetent and unprofessional therapist.

Doctor Steven Hobbs has help me through the years on a variety of issues including stress management, trouble sleeping, and relationship issues. I have found his openness, calm demeanor, and extensive behavioral health background very refreshing and comforting.

I was told by Dr Hobbs that not only have I been lying about my mental conditions, I have also been lying to all my family etc. until I convinced them that I had a condition. Then he went on to tell me that genetic depression does not exist, and was fabricated by me to reinforce my “lie” about my mental health. This was derogatory, disrespectful, and belittling. It took away my trust in this doctor and his practice. That last session left me feeling sick. He disregarded my life in 2 sentences.

I would 100% recommend working with Dr Hobbs. He is really experienced, offers practical advice, easy to talk to, and helped me re-shape my life.

Therapy with Dr. Hobbs has given me tools and support to work on my path of life, pulling weeds where necessary, making bridges and side roads where needed. Dr. Hobbs has insight, experience, a great compassion and a steady intelligence. I am grateful I chose him from a huge list of others. I made the perfect choice.

Went through a tough divorce and custody situation. We worked with a multitude of therapists and psychiatrists over the past 3-4 years, who in some cases made matters worse. My teen children have been seeing Dr. Hobbs about 9 months so far and they're making great progress.

I needed a psychologist not to just listen to my issue, but give me advice, and Dr. Hobbs has been great in that regard, understanding the situation and working on the root of the problem.
