I had a crown come loose and Dr. Hinchey's office was able to get me in within 48 hours of my call. The care that I received was top shelf. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr Hinchey's skill is unmatched. My repair was accomplished in just 28 minutes. I always receive the highest level of care from Dr. Hinchey and his staff.

Once again I had a fine time at the dentist. My hygienist is so fit and trim… five weeks before delivering her third child! She’s the epitome of good health and eating well! We shared stories about food and my trip while she expertly cleaned my teeth. Dr Hinchey came in to evaluate my teeth and said I was status quo… Can’t ask for a better evaluation! ….and this was the eval. I was supposed to send 6 months ago! Here is the latest: my new hygienist is Kayla…she is thorough and very pleasant. We discovered a leak in tooth 14 and it will be fixed later in the month…I am very pleased with this visit!!!

My experience with Hinchey's dental office and services has always been exemplary. I used to have tremendous anxiety about going to the dentist and thanks to being treated with compassion and understanding, I have virtually none. My visits are streamlined; I am in and out after all the necessary work. I am very relieved to have a dentist who treats me like a person and not merely a mouth with teeth & gums. They take the time to answer all my questions. I never feel rushed. I am looking forward to my next appointment!

Dr. Hinchey has been my dentist for decades. I first saw him to have my mercury fillings removed. Since then he has seen me through several root canals, broken teeth and replacement crowns. His skill is unmatched. He is the original Inspector Gadget of dentistry. He always has the latest and most sophisticated methods and technology available. He is a mechanical marvel. Sadly, I am relocating to Maine. I tried to talk him into relocating his practice to Maine, but alas, he cannot. For the past 10 years I have been driving 6 hours each way to keep my appointments with the Good Doctor and his staff, but that is becoming too burdensome. I will miss his awesome practice and his good matured, friendly demeanor. He's the best.

I am new to CT and needed to find a dentist close by in the area. My first visit was amazing! The staff were welcoming and went above and beyond. Dr. Hinchey was personable and easy to talk to. He listened to all my concerns and put me at ease. Dr. Hinchey was even MORE amazing my second visit to the office. I was having some type of lips issue that was ongoing for weeks. Since I did not have a GP, Dr. Hinchey was willing to see me and prescribed something that worked. I recently had a cleaning and the hygienist was just as amazing.

I have been going to Dr. Hinchey for several years. My teeth have a few issues and Dr. Hinchey is always patient, compassionate and knowledgeable about how to care for them. His office staff is friendly and they always get back to me very quickly when I need something.

My 4 kids saw Dr. Hinchey and his staff for a cleaning and exam this week. We recently moved to CT and we were a little nervous about finding a new dentist. They all loved this practice and came away more enthusiastic about brushing and flossing! Dr. Hinchey, the hygienists, and the receptionist are caring and personable. They gave my 4 year old son a great “first” experience at the dentist! Thank you!

Dr Hinchey has been our dentist for over 10 years. He is very knowledgable and professional with a caring approach that separates him from other dentists. In those rare times that I needed him for dental emergency, he has has found the time for me and my family.

Great front desk! Everyone was kind. Very thorough and provided education and suggestions on prevention vs pulling all my teeth out. Refreshing approach.

I am so thankful to Dr. Hinchey. I was able to get an appointment quickly for an old filling that was coming apart. Not only did he fix it, he used safe practices for removal of my amalgam filling and no pain! Once the numbness was gone, I was back to eating with no bite issues or soreness. He is a kind, gentle person and I trust him with my tooth health. My whole experience was positive. Five stars to Dr. Hinchey! I hope this helps someone who hesitates going to the dentist. Dr. Hinchey is a rare kind of Dentist these days. He personally takes the time to get to know his patients with a sincere, listening ear. He has knowledge beyond basic dentistry to include diet, lifestyle, allergies, and other important topics that all relate to one's dental health. I had a consultation with Dr. Hinchey regarding replacing all of my MANY old fillings. He explained the process and did not pressure or rush me into making a decision. Each visit (and there were many) went smoothly. He explained everything and made me feel at ease. I am so happy that I went through with the process and I am SO grateful I found Dr. Hinchey. I only wish that I had found him sooner! He simply is the best dentist I have ever been to.

Prior to visiting Dr. Hinchey's office, we submitted our dental insurance plan for the administrators to review and keep on record. We asked the administrator to ensure that our new insurance policy was accepted by Dr. Hinchey. We conducted our own due diligence and found that our insurance policy at the time was accepted by Dr. Hinchey's office. We have been visiting Dr. Hinchey since 2020 and had a change of insurance for year 2021, however, we never had anyone from the office contact us to let us know that their were issues with our insurance plan for 2021. We also received a phone call from our insurance company stating that Dr. Hinchey's office ignored the two claims sent to them in 2021. We will not be doing business with Dr. Hinchey in 2022, as we find the office administrators have horrible communication skills, both with their patients and insurance agencies. Dr. Stephen Hinchey has been my dentist for 37 years since we moved to town. His work is excellent and I know I’m in good hands.

Very happy with my visit, I will definitely be back. Appt went well, Dentist is very personable and calming makes you feel at ease. Took me on short notice due to a cavity and very excruciating pain and sensitivity in my tooth. I recommend giving this place a try, you won’t regret it.

As usual my visit was fine. Been going to Steve since he began his practice!

I can’t say enough good things about my visit. This was my first time to this office, I drove 35 minutes to get here and it was well worth it. My cleaning with Della was deep but gentle. Both she and the Dr gave me excellent advice. Very happy with my experience!

On a Thursday afternoon I inquired on the website about having a dental emergency and it said someone would call me within 30 minutes. I did not receive a call till the following Monday afternoon. I understand places get busy and mistakes happen, but to not even get an apology is what bothers me most. Not a good way to do business.
