Dr. Steven L Higgins

I would not recommend Dr. Higgins. He withheld information regarding the procedures he did on me, leaving me with chronic cardiac arrhythmias.

I would give the office staff ZERO stars but this is not an option. I have had Zio Patches installed before by other providers with no problems. At this office, the staff flatly refuses to deal with insurance despite confirmation my insurance will cover 100% of $$$. They forced me to pay $ up front and were rude when I asked for a detailed receipt I could use to submit it myself. Dr. Higgins seems like a great cardiologist, but office staff boils my blood - a sad irony for a heart patient!!

My daughter had a issue with her heart. Dr Higgin's scheduled a electrophysiology study. When I questioned his results of the study his reply was to read his lips and that nothing was wrong with her heart. He told me to not make him repeat himself again! Then tried to write her a prescription for antidepressants! Rude! My daughter has never been depressed! He was wrong, She was diagnosed a year later with Inappropriate sinus tachycardia! His bedside manner is terrible! I do not recommend!

Office staff is friendly and very good at accommodating needs and time constraints. The doctor is brilliant and very experienced and excellent at specialties and unique procedures
