Amazing practice. Dr. Herman is the most knowledgeable and personable physician I have ever had. Couple that with the MDVIP practice model and you have a excellent model for healthcare that you will appreciate being a part of. Yes there is a cost to it but compared to the healthcare and the attention(or lack thereof) in the run of the mill group practices, it is worth the investment. With a traditional practice you get 15 minute appointments at most, 1-2 day waits for phone calls to be returned, constant referrals for anything above routine treatment, and who knows who you will see when you arrive for the appointment. With Dr. Herman and MDVIP, I ALWAYS see Dr. Herman. When I call with an urgent question, I am dialing Dr. Herman's personal cell number, not some physician answering service waiting for the on-call staff to call back. When I arrive, I rarely wait more than 5 minutes to be seen and once in the exam room, I get prompt attention by Dr. Herman with most visits lasting 30-60 minutes. When me or my family have urgent care needs, Dr. Herman follows up and checks in on us regularly. The annual physical and wellness exam is like something you have never seen. BMI readings, EEG, hearing, eyesight and respiratory testing, among others. My bloodwork is sent to the Cleveland Clinic for extensive testing and then interpreted with me by Dr. Herman where we develop healthcare goals together for urgent and preventative issues. This is the way all healthcare should be. I don't feel like a number or just another patient. When I deal with Dr. Herman or his staff, I feel I have their full attention and concern. Dr. Steven Herman is an outstanding doctor that takes time to analyze your health and has helped me tremendously! The staff is excellent and attentive to your needs too. I would not go to any other practice. They are an amazing group!

I have been with Dr. Herman for 30 years and would never consider going anywhere else. The care and concern he offers is unbelievable and his staff is also very kind and caring. I firmly believe I am healthier today because of Dr. Herman. I trust him completely, he hears what I say to him and that alone is so important. There is a way to work with MDVIP to pay monthly if that works for you as it does for me. Think of it as an investment in your health. What could be more important! Love the time that Dr Herman has to spend with me and answer any of my questions.

I was a patient of Dr. Herman before MD-VIP. Although I thought it was pricey, there was no way I was going to give him up and try and find a Dr. who was any where close to his abilities, talents, and Diagnostic abilities. He is the best Dr. I have ever had experience with. Also, he came highly recommended by a friends husband who is also a Dr. and actually goes to Dr. Herman. Great doctor and staff.

My low rating is not a reflection on the doctor's ability as I have not used him, it is due to the fact that in order to join his practice you have to pay a $1000 fee. Seems unethical to me. No thanks.

A caring. Extremely highly informed doctor that has already changed my life and I've only been a patient there about two months! To the dim, ill informed reviewer who said "there's a $1000 fee to join his practice", you should check yourself and your facts before reviewing anywhere, especially such a pristine and wonderful place as Dr. Herman's. The "fee" is a) made aware to any prospective patient in an immediate and obvious manner; b) is because you are joining a practice where the doctor has about 10% of the patient load a normal doctor has. Your appointments last longer and are always with the doctor. You get a full yearly work up that consists of tests and other things never done at other practices. The doctor will, in an emergency, come to YOUR HOUSE. You get immediate appointments, always. You get the doctor's cell phone number. You get a doctor with knowledge and experience in a broad number of fields so that you can likely avoid a specialist. You get staff that know your name, your pets name, and other things about you because they are also your friend and genuinely care. If you travel, you can get care at any affiliated practice across the country with no hassle, fee, or lack of information; c) is payable ANY way you want. I paid a little over a quarter of the fee up front and then plan on making payments when I have it. There are no set dates for payment. To the reviewer who obviously was looking for the best and thought he would just hear one thing about an amazing man and an amazing practice and then go try to shame him on a review site, shame on you. He did not listen to me and the only staff member that was helpful left the practice. I no longer go there.
