Dr. Steven Charles Harwood

Doctor Harwood is an outstanding doctor. He explains everything exceptionally well! He takes the time out of his busy day to call me personally and go over the results of any testing done. He has also seen me on Saturdays. I consider him the best doctor that St. Joe's Ann Arbor has to offer.

Doctor Harwood has been treating me for 22 years! He always knows how to treat what ever my injury is. He is very concerned about his patients and always gives freely of himself.

I have been working with Doc for a few years now. All I can say is "HE IS AMAZING". He is very knowledgeable with what is going on, quick to lend advice on how to feel better, relieve pain and pressure and very sweet! If you are looking for someone with great bedside manor who also listens to you as a patient, he is your guy. Thank you!!

I have seen many doctors and not a single one could give me a definite diagnosis. Dr.Harwood is very direct in his plan and takes the time to do a great physical exam! Which is honestly a dying characteristic in many medical offices unfortunately! He was the first one to give me a diagnosis, which after doing numerous amounts of research myself I do believe to be correct! Although my issue is not resolved at this point he is doing his best to help me without a doubt! Very intelligent.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Harwood. Both my mother-in-law and I saw him on seperate ocassions for different incidents and both of us found him to be lacking in both bedside manner and professionalism. He created a huge inconvenience for both of us in his inability to properly fill out paperwork. Paperwork was misfiled and not filled out properly by him. This caused my mother-in-law great anguish with medical bills as well as creating a weeks long delay in receiving much needed physical therapy.

What is an extreme crippling back pain. dr. Had me better within a few days. He is the only doctor in my 60 years to ever call me at home to see how I was doing. First class all the way!

I felt at first he was listening to my concerns and there to help but after my third visit I felt as if he just wanted to be done with me and send me on my way even after I informed him I did not feel any different . Now I feel like I'm back at square one and I will never get back to my normal self.

Dr. Harwood diagnosed and treated me perfectly. He responds in a timely manner when leaving questions for him. He will personally return your call with recommendations. He listens to your suggestions, even though they were not correct. I like how he definitely tries physical therapy, exercise and other alternatives to surgery. I would highly recommend him to a friend or family member. Actually, I have done just that. Great experience.
