Dr Harper is a scam. I went for my free colonoscopy per Aetna’s recommendation. I made it perfectly clear at my initial appointment that this was to be billed as such. His office did not bill it as such and I was stuck with a $2500 bill. I disputed this with his office and Aetna both pointed the finger at each other and I was screwed. Do not use this provider

Dr. Harper was a reference from my family doctor and treated me for a pilonidal cyst. My first appointment left me confused and uneasy. I had done research on treatment options, his is an older technique with high rate of recurrence. He dismissed other treatments by expressing how long he has been doing this specific one AND it works just fine. Sadly, I was one who didn't even heal from surgery. I walked around with an open wound for SIX MONTHS. Another surgeon fixed it. Dr. Harper is awful.

At the first visit we wanted to pay as we go along with the treatments due to new insurance with high deductibles. After the third treatment, we asked what is the charges He gave us run around when he told us to speak to his office manager at different office We went ahead and paid what the previous insurance paid They reported this to the collection agent The doctor should have told us upfront at the first visit. I would have went to another doctor.

Both myself and my wife have colonoscopies (3 times) from Dr. Harper over the past 15 years. He followed up the procedure with a recovery room visit and a later phone call explaining the results of biopsies.
