Dr. Steven Gorelick

Dr. Gorelick is a breath of fresh air. Ive had a string of health issues over the last 10 years and have seen 20+ doctors, none of them as kind and patient as Dr. Gorelick. He never made me feel rushed and made sure I felt heard when describing my ongoing symptoms, despite looking perfectly healthy on paper and having all negative test results. He vowed to get to the bottom of my symptoms, and left me feeling cared for and looked after. Extremely rare these days.

Yesterday was my first visit with Dr. Gorelick and he clearly had reviewed and absorbed my extensive medical history in advance. His approach was thorough and very sensible; I am totally satisfied with his examination and his treatment plan. On top of his professional competence he treated me as a person, not just a patient, considering my preferences and objectives. He was just a few minutes late for my appointment and he actually apologized for his delay - that's the first time I have experienced any doctor doing that! His clinical report was posted to the patent portal by the time I got home and he also texted to let me know he had ordered my prescription from my pharmacy. It is a relief to know that he will be involved in my future care.

He’s the BEST. He takes the time to make you feel better and talks and listens to you. He’s been my doctor since 2010. And now my husband goes to him as well.

I had a great experience with Dr. Gorelick and his staff.

Last year I started seeing Dr. Gorelick due to not being able to swallow my food and a burning sensation in my throat which was caused by ulcers. This was one of the most terrifying moments in my life where I was scared, didn’t know what was happening to me, I was worried, and praying everyday I would get better due to the fact I was in intense pain. Upon seeing Dr. Gorelick the first time he was very understanding and kind, and listened to everything I had to say. Every appointment, As soon as I arrived into the office everything was on time and they were ready to see me as soon as it hit 11:30 without any wait. The office staff is very kind as well along with the nurses . All smiles and “how are you”. After being prescribed some medicine I was as good as new within the next couple of weeks with seeing amazing progress within the first couple of days . They gave me a pamphlet of foods that I should stay away from to avoid the problem happening again. I have been going to Dr. Gorelick for the past two years. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had. He is to the point but also kind and seems to actually care. He also has a good sense of humor. I have to switch due to my insurance changing their contracts and am very disappointed.

Dr. Gorelick is the most wonderful, kind, understanding doctor I have ever been too. He has taken great care of me and I don't give him 5 stars I give him 10 stars. If you're looking for a doctor of gastroenterology look no further......he is your guy.

I found Dr. Gorelick via Google. On my consultation, I found him to be very kind, caring and patient as he listened to all my concerns. I didn't feel rushed and he wasn't typing on a computer as I was talking. He ordered an endoscopy and suggested I get a colonoscopy screening at the same time because of my age. I was terrified when he suggested the endoscopy. He assured me that it was painless and I would be sedated. I just had it done and did not feel any discomfort. Dr. G is the best!

I am so lucky that I found Dr. Gorelick. I truly believe that I am alive because of him. He listens to concerns and desires on medications. He is a wonderful doctor and wants to see his patients healthy.
