Dr. Gilman changed my life and took away my horrific neck pain after suffering with it for 21 LONG years. He did ACDF Surgery on my neck and I am now FREE of that Horrible pain. Thank God for this Gifted Surgeon, he changed my life in a wonderful way to where I am no longer suffering like I had for so many years. He is a great guy and very likable. I HIGHLY Recommend this Surgeon. He knows what he's doing. Thank you Dr. Gilman. Worst experience with a neurosurgeon I have ever had. My daughter was in Hamot and Dr. Gilman refused to do surgery on her during her shunt malfunction. Comments that he made was not appropriate for a Dr to be saying. He is extremely unprofessional and should lose his license. Thank God she got transferred to Children's Hospital and had the surgery done there Worst experience with a neurosurgeon I have ever had. Dr. GILMAN AND HIS STAFF WERE TERRIFIC ,THEY WERE KIND , CARING , THEY TOOK GREAT CARE IN MAKING SURE I UNDERSTOOD AND KEPT INFORMED EVERY STEP OF THE WAY FOR MY PROCEDURE AS WELL AS MY WIFE SHE FELT GOOD KNOWING HE WAS IN EXCELLANT HANDS I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND HIS STAFF AND THE HAMOT MEDICAL CENTER.

I was blessed to have Dr Gillman as a surgeon I was involved in a bad mva and I can walk and I would not be where I am at without his experience. God blessed me

Suffering from fusion for 10 yrs . Don't go there !

Can't thank him enough for my spinal fusion. Great work and love his personality. I recommend him whenever I can.

He is a great Doctor.

The worst doctor ever. He treated me for 9 months, telling me there was nothing wrong. Couldn’t take the pain anymore & went to the Cleveland Clinic. After 2 hours of being admitted, it was discovered that I had a large grapefruit size cancerous tumor in my pelvis. This man should have his license taken away. DO NOT GO TO HIM!

Dr Gilman operated on my back almost two years ago the pain in my leg went away but now I’m in more pain then I can stand . I know this won’t stay on here but I’m not talking bad of him he just didn’t help me

Dr Gilman is a super hero. I could barely walk before he fixed my back. I thank God for that surgery being so successful and for Dr. Gilman.

In 2012 my back was fixed just like he said he would. It took a couple years to heal and my back is in good shape. Now I need my neck fixed. Dr. Gilman will work on that too. We'll see. Pray for me.

Bed side manners stinks. Was 20 min.s late for an app. Thru all kinds of rd construction.. Wouldn't see us. Someone else walked in 20 min.s late & got them right in. I guess we didn't look the part. Walked around with a broken back for 4 years I guess this is the treatment you get.

Dr.Gilman is a wonderful Neurosurgeon!! He has an awesome bedside manor! He listened to my husbands,as well as my,questions and answered all of them..Never felt rushed.He answered all of them! Love Mike,his PA as well!

Dr Gilman has worked on my neck and performed numerous brain surgeries on my son. Dr Gilman is the best! I've never felt rushed, he answers all of your questions, presents you with all your options, and has a phenomenal bed side manner. I cannot say enough good things about this man, he is just awesome. Dr. Gilman is a down to earth, caring and empathetic individual. I have lived with horrific pain caused from two herniated cervical disks and was referred to Dr. Gilman. I went to my first visit and I knew I could trust him with my surgery, and I was 100% correct. I had surgery on September 14th, and even though I am experiencing some pain from the surgery itself, I no longer have any nerve pain at all and I am doing great! I would recommend Dr. Gilman and his staff to anyone!! Thanks Doc!!

Dr. Gilman performed brain surgery on my dad, back surgery on my brother, and a carpal tunnel release on both of my hands. My family loves him! He is a down to earth doctor that truly cares about his patients.

Doctor and staff were very friendly and helpful. I had disc fusion surgery in neck and pain that was running down my arms is completely gone. I was playing golf 6 weeks after surgery.

When I broke my back after decades of decline, Dr. Gilman treated me with respect and straight-talk. He answered every question I ever had, spoke frankly, performed my procedure with skill, and motivated me to begin my healing process with determination.
