He did nothing for me. And I have never been treated so poorly by a healthcare professional. Went to him for headaches and DDD in Cervical Spine, but I should have saved myself half a day of sick leave from work. He literally told me that the neck and back problems I have are caused by the "extra weight I am carrying around" (Really, I had no idea I am overweight!). He has no bedside manner! He said "You have a bed right? You have a floor right? You have a kitchen counter right? When you are cooking dinner for your kids, you need to be doing leg lifts at the counter. When you are taking laundry out of the dryer you should be doing push ups on the dryer. Watching TV, sit on the floor where you can exercise. Everything you pass in your home you need to make an exercise out of because saying you are overweight because you are in pain doesn't cut it. People who are overweight can always exercise. Then when I got upset because he told me that there was nothing wrong with my Lumbar Spine X-Rays (Scoliosis/Severe Disc Compression T12-L1,L1-L2,L3-L4,L4-L5) He said he was just going to stand there and think of a way to respond so that I felt like he was agreeing with me that my imaging was not normal. I almost started crying. He did nothing for my headaches either. He wanted me to quit taking most of my medications for 2 weeks including my Cancer meds and blood pressure meds. He told me to quit drinking caffeine and start taking Nodoz instead. He asked at the end if I felt like I needed another visit with him, and I said "No! There is NO REASON I need to see YOU again!" He is a quack!

My daughter has Arnold Chiari Malformation. She was born with it. She has been to countless Neurologists starting as a baby at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. I don’t know why they didn’t see she was born with it because she was admitted in the hospital under constant supervision at age 4 for 10 days under 24 hour ICU care with camera & probes hooked up all over her head which monitored her visually & her brain waves constantly recoreded the 10 days she was admitted. She had seizures several times a day everyday to which they put her on anti-convulsive medications. Later she was taken off them. At age 17 she started having horrible headaches, burning sensation in her head, neck, down her arms, hands, fingers. Dizziness, unbalanced, white spots before her eyes. She was yelling & moaning in pain. In 2013 she had brain surgery because her brain had slipped down below her skull cavity and was laying and putting pressure on her spinal cord in her neck which caused fluid on her spinal cord. The doctor made an incision on the back middle of her head , opened her skull, removed the first 4 vertebraes in her neck which then caused her brain to automatically slide upward into the base of her skull where it should naturally be. The surgery is supposed to have a 80% success rate. The MRI shows the surgery was an success because her brain now fits inside the base of her skull which now relieves pressure on her spinal cord, therefore no more fluid in her spine. The surgery did what it was supposed to do but it did not take any of the symptoms or pain away as the other 80% of patients did. My daughter has been to countless doctors, tried all kinds if procedures to relieve the agony she feels everyday . Dhes had Botox treatments all over her head, neck, shouldres, face, shot given in her legs, physical therapy, Chiropractic care, every muscle relaxer drug, seizure medication which sometimes helps for chronic migraines, opioids she oit grew which she no longer takes because they stopped working. She finally saw this doctor today and he took a ton of time with her. Listened to everything we said. Showed a lot of interest, throughly examined her. He concluded we have done everything as parents we could have and still do for her but could only give suggestions that might help her. He was genuinely interested and cared for her. Thats more than i can say for the majority of her past doctors. Even though our daughter continues to be in terrible pain we rate him a 5 star for trying.

I waited months for this appointment. He said the lesions on my brain that were shown on the MRI was from long term smoking. I am not a smoker. I had the MRI due to increasing migraines. He told me that my migraines are due to over medicating in tylenol or ibuprofen. He told me to use essential oils and melatonin and download the Calm App and another one. He told me to not takr any medication for 2 weeks. There are times the migraine is so bad that I am vomiting. The report from the radiologist on my MRI stated that MS should be clinically considered. He completely dismissed this this saying it is from smoking and nobody is diagnosed with it later in life. I am 48 years old. That is not late in life. I have 3 family members thay have MS and one was diagnosed when she was older. I am so disgusted with this doctor. This is not medical care. I waited months for this appointment. I waited months for the appointment and was so disappointed. He didn’t even address the reason I was there which was to address chronic headaches, brain fog, and balance issues related to Post Covid syndrome. He latched onto my insomnia (which is also directly related to Post Covid Syndrome) and basically told me I need to find a way to get grounded (suggested hugging a tree and walking through sand) and also talked a lot about Deepak Chopra and breathing. I was so disappointed and left with no answers and continued symptoms. I waited months for the appointment and was so disappointed. I waited months for the appointment to discuss headaches, brain fog and balance issues related to post Covid syndrome. Not only would he not address that I had Post Covid syndrome, but he latched onto my insomnia, which is also directly related to Covid and told me I need to meditate, find ways to ground myself and focus on deep breathing. He suggested grounding by hugging a tree or walking in sand. He talked a lot about Deepak Chopra and told me to breath. Nothing at all was discussed about my symptoms and what might be causing them. I was so disappointed and disgusted. I am a counselor. I know all about mindfulness and breathing, what I needed was a DOCTOR to help figure out what is happening to my brain.

Dr. Erlemeier fancies himself to be both a neurologist and a psychologist. His treatment of our daughter was appalling. She has TBI and was being abused by her ex. In the process the ex accused her mother of abusing her and APS stepped in. They convinced Erlemeier that the only solutions was for him to change his diagnosis of incompetent to competent to help them get her mother out of her life. Eventually her mother was found innocent of all accusations, and a vulnerable adult protection order was granted against the ex. for 5 years. Ten months after he falsified her mental capacity status, she was given a complete battery of psychological and neurological tests that concluded, that while she is close, she is not yet competent. Two and half years later, not knowing the previous experience with him, her new primary care sent her back to Erlemeier. He ripped into her about not being with her husband, told her that her mother was controlling life. Brutally ripped her apart.

I called and shared with Anita at Patient Advocacy but it still happened. First he called me curley sparkle which I didnt get. I do have a handle bar mustache but really? Then when he saw the amount of dental work I have had from neglect, He asked if I used meth or cocaine. I have never used either! he told me to explain my bridge work, then demand I admit meth or cocaine. I was there for migraines. Then he decides I drink to much water and am over medicated which he chews me out for. The prescriptions I take are all from my Dr. He tells me to stop all prescriptions for 2 weeks. I tell him I am still injured from a previous accident. He says the pain pills may be masking the pain, but I need to figure out how to live the rest of my life in pain. He did write I needed a chiropractor ASAP which my insurance doesn't cover. I will be seeking other medical attention. Anita at patient Advocacy did say she would be speaking to Dr Erlemeier but reading the other reviews it seems to be his normal patient interaction. Dr. Erlemeier is a breath of fresh air. He integrates Eastern practices and methodologies into his Western practice, and so many are historically proven. I find this sort of integrative approach to the whole body something the Tri-Cities needs more of.

Dr Erlemeier has been fantastic in working with us. He is the only Dr that discovered my Parkinson’s. I even had several other opinions, and all agreed with his diagnosis. His treatment plan has been working well. Thank you Dr E!

Terrible! Misdiagnosed me. Had to go to Seattle to a Neurologist there. His Cognitive testing was too short. Made me believe I had a serious situation. It put me in a 3 month frenzy. I do not recommend.

Dr. Erlemeier was the worst doctor I’ve ever been to. He was condensening and extremely unprofessional. He mocked me and my condition during my exam. He had NO empathy or sympathy. His summary of my visit was full of his opinions on my life which were not medical conclusions (big difference!). I waited a long time to get this appointment and it was a complete waste of time. Now I know why he was the only neurologist in Tri-Cities I could get an appointment with.

I have severe back pain with tingling/numbness in my legs. I've been on pain pills for 5 years & it seem that neurology was the way to go. He was quick to write me off giving me prescriptions for anxiety/antidepressant, which I dont have . I had an MRI that showed wear/bulging on all lumbar disks with one just being moderately to severe. He was extremely rude and condescending. He kept telling me my pain was in a place where it wasn't. He was insensitive and regilious hypocrite. He's a quack.
