Steven Brooks

I have been a patient of the clinic for 12 years. My regular doctor was not there. I am 52 years old. I have no history of drug abuse, chronic pain, or any health problems other than mild blood pressure. I had an accident and fractured several ribs. The pain was excruciating. Dr. Brooks prescribed 25 mg. of tramadol three times a day. It did not even begin to touch the pain. I could barely breath. I called him to ask if there was something else to take. His nurse said that he is very conservative about prescribing pain meds. She understood the type of pain I was in. She talked to him, but he would not up my dose or change my meds. The nurse said she should not tell me this, but that I should take 800 mg over-the-counter ibuprofen 3 times a day and use the tramadol as a supplement. She said tramadol is not designed for the kind of pain I was experiencing. My regular doctor said he was surprised by Dr. Brook's prescription also. I would not recommend Dr. Brooks to anyone.

Dr Brooks IS the TOP of the LINE Physicians. Hes been our Provider for the past 15 yrs & God willing many more. Hes a man of Integrity Honor & Respect & he treats his Pts in that manner as well. Dr Brooks is very easy to talk to is EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT & humble. He will turn over every stone to get answers if he can't find them on his own, he'll branch out for help. In closing Dr Brooks sincerely CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS HEALTH! We're MORE THAN a Medical Rec No in order to generate an INVOICE!

Dr Brooks was my doctor for 20 years until I recently moved to Florida. Being a diabetic on a pump, dr Brooks read my pump every three months and made the necessary adjustments. He was always concerned and caring about all my medical issues. Trying to find another Doctor in Florida and in waukesha who provides the same service has been impossible. Can’t even find an Endocrinologist that can read my pump. Great and responsive staff.

Dr Brooks is one the most thorough and caring doctors I have encountered in my 75 years on this earth. He and his staff always follow up and return phone calls. Been a patient for many years.

Dr Brooks has been my doctor for over 15 years now. He has the best bedside manners of any doctor I have met. He takes time to listen and get to the root of your problems. He has good follow up to check on how you are doing. Great Doctor!!

My friend doctored with this guy for two years. Quick to prescribe drugs, run tests, kept him coming but could not diagnose him. Finally after his wife begged for a referral to Mayo, he did so. Friend goes to Mayo and was diagnosed in 20 minutes. He's dying; thanks, Dr. Brooks. My husband canceled his appointment.

This doctor prescribe too many refills of Vicodin for our parents. K. w. They also stated they would never go back to him!

During my visit which was a for a heart condition, he was cold and uncaring and told me he would call a specialitst and get back to me. He never did. I would not recommend.
