I have been Dr. Brody's patient for over 8 years and I am so pleased to report that he has helped me with my medical issues, especially with balancing my hormones. He has listened with care to my concerns and has been very responsive to my needs. He backs up his advice with evidence based medicine. I also want to give a shout out to his office manager Pat, who genuinely cares about Dr. Brody's patients.

Avoid if you can, as the office manager is incredibly unprofessional. Never called me to give me my test results, despite leaving many voice mails. When I called and finally got them on a phone after a month of trying was immediately told "it's negative" without them even knowing my name or what the test was for. When I asked what the test was, or my name, they said they "were driving and had to look it up" and hung up on me. I've never felt like a doctor's office cared less about patient care. A friend of mine recommended Dr Brody after my previous doctor closed his practice, and I'm glad I went with the recommendation. Dr Brody is very knowledgeable and takes his time with each patient. You might be there a little longer than expected but that's because he cares about his patients and is not just trying to get you out the door. He has far more knowledge in how the body operates than other doctors that I have been to and that is very important to me as a patient. His nurse/administrative officer is very nice and also very knowledgeable. I feel I made a good choice !! Dr. Brody is genuinely the best medical experience I have ever had. He sat down and went through my entire medical histroy and all of my PCOS symptoms. As a woman who has always felt like my body didn't operate like it should. Finally finding out I have this disease, and that I was indeed correct things weren't right was a relief. It was so refreshing to have a medical professional sit down and listen and not dismiss any of my thoughts or symptom complaints. 20 years of feeling dismissed and one hour of sitting with Dr. Brody honestly almost made my cry tears of joy. I know this sounds strange but the validation was amazing. Dr Brody is a rare type of doctor who takes time with his patients, explaining findings, diagnosis and possible remedies. I’m always impressed with his personal approach and time he takes with me. Very thorough and detail oriented.

Dr. Brody is one of the most kind, caring and compassionate doctors I have ever been to. He spends a good deal of time with you, never feeling rushed out. I have gone to him for different medical issues and have been very satisfied.

Dr. Brody and I had a little bit of a scafuffle in the beginning, and I felt like he didn’t always know who I was or what was going on with me, but there were long periods between visits and I was not good at communicating clearly. I was frustrated and ended up having a meltdown in his office, and that’s when and where he really started to shine. Every other doctor could tell I was in distress but wasn’t then motivated to help, but Dr. Brody stepped up when I lost it in front him. He responded by validating both my experiences and emotions, and immediately laid out a plan of action, which shut down my emotional overload. He’s been my absolute saving grace and sanity, and he won’t give up like other doctors do. He’s also respectful of service dogs, though he WILL tell you how much he loves them repeatedly ???? Pat, bless her sweet, ancient heart, works harder than these girls my age and she’s nicer too. You WILL wait for long periods sometimes, so you should perhaps only schedule on a day that you don’t have anything else going on, but that’s because he’s taking the time he actually needs with his patients, and I promise he is worth that wait!!!! If you’re like me, and want an education about what’s going on with your body/health, he’ll give you a whole master class or he’ll sum it up and just give you the meat and potatoes if that’s what you prefer. Had to come back an update this after having been a patient: get Dr. Brody in the morning. He’s a completely different person then. In the afternoons, he’s aggravated and just wants to go home I think. He recently dropped me, saying I needed an endocrinologist specializing in pituitary disorders and he’s a reproductive endocrinologist, so I guess the metabolic part in his title is a lie now. I'm so grateful to Dr. Brody for all his guidance helping to balance my hormones and optimizing my overall health. He is a unique and special doctor who always gives me all the time I need to thoroughly review and analyze my labs, explaining to me in detail the importance of each item and its function and answering all my questions. Another very unique attribute is Dr. Brody practices both traditional and naturopathic medicine. So you get the best of both modalities. Then there's Pat, his righthand person who is always such a pleasure. It's so nice when I call that I don't have to introduce myself because they know me. I know that they treat all their patients the same way. I've recommended a couple of people to Dr. Brody who also raved about him and their experience. It was a complete waste of time and money going to Dr Brody. he is toooooo slow and even after having an appointment you have to wait for an hour minimum at his clinic. He charged 2 hours for a 15 mins diagnosis because we were waiting for 90 mins in the waiting area. It took 2 visits to prescribe blood work and third call to prescribe Thyroid pills where my wife was negotiating the dosage looking at high TSH levels and asking him to increase the dosage. For TSH level 15 he was prescribing 25mg thyroxine. Her condition got worse in the 2 months we lost in our visits going to him. We learnt it a hard way he is not an Endocrinologist.. My wife is diagnosed with Hashimotos disease now. Dr. Brody is great. He spends a ton of time with each patient to make sure that all concerns addressed.

I am so thankful I found Dr. Brody. He really takes the time to explain things to you, go over everything and helps you understand everything he tells you to do/take, which is so different than most doctors. Dr. B and Pat are like family to me. I have been seeing Dr. Brody and Pat for about 6 years now. After 5 miscarriages and other docs telling me there was nothing I could do I stumbled on Dr. B one night searching online. I called the next day and Pat got me in within a few days and I was astonished with Dr. B's knowledge and passion for helping women overcome infertility and miscarriage. He takes time with EVERY SINGLE PATIENT. Over 90% of doctors load their schedules to get the most patients in and out. Not Dr. B and Pat. My first visit to Dr. Brody was almost 4 years ago with Hashimoto disease. Dr. Brody is brilliant. Not only is he smart, he works with what's best and comfortable for you. Don't frustrate yourself by going here if you want STI testing! Once the labs were back, I found out that the doctor doesn't look at your file unless your in the office. They could have easily called in an Rx and ended my suffering, but they don't and won't. You have to come in twice for what every other office will do via phone after 1 visit. It's a ridiculously bad way to practice medicine. And the constant wait is usually 2 hours. Never will I come here again.
