Dr. Steven M Ariss

Dr Ariss has saved my elderly dad’s life more times than I can say. I think it’s important to separate the quality of medical care from the problems of the office staff, and also to bear in mind that Dr Ariss runs late because he compassionately allows emergency patients—people really up against it, in pain and grave danger—onto his schedule at the last minute. I always remind myself, on that days when we wait hours to see him, of the times everyone got knocked back because my dad needed emergency surgery. Surely, by 2023, we all know that doctor appointments eat up a good portion of a day. Alternatively, you can go to a hair salon and get service promptly.

Plan on waiting for hours in the waiting room. Dr Arris doesn't really take care of the problem either. Sent me home with multiple kidney stones, said good luck and to go to the emergency room if need be because I still had a few large stones left after having lithotripsy twice. He never once mentioned the option of going in and surgically removing the stones or getting medication to prevent stones from forming. All of which I found out after I left his office. Dr. Ariss is by far my favorite doctor. He has always shown concern for any problem I've shared with him, and has gone above and beyond to find solutions.

Very caring and nice

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Ariss. Couldn't have made a better choice. He took the time to listen to me and present a plan to take care of my issue. Also his staff was very nice to me especially Marge and the person that called me in and the nurse that I first had contact with. Over all I would recommend Dr. Ariss and his staff.

I called for an appointment 3 weeks ago. They told me to call back because the computers were down. I tried calling for 3 weeks. I couldn’t get through and it kept hanging up on me. I finally called another doctor who had to call and make the appointment. That doctor’s office was on hold for 22 minutes. After finally getting an appointment, we’ve been sitting here for 45 minutes waiting. My mother has MS and can’t sit for this long. I am NOT impressed. I called for an appointment 3 weeks ago. First Doctor that took my condition seriously.

If I could leave a 0 I would. Count on being there at least 90 minutes for a visit. He is NEVER on time. Even when you are his 1st patient of the day. Schedules surgeries and does not show up, then blames it on his office scheduler. He is a nice guy, just not someone I would want my loved one to be treated by.

Excellent doctor! Very caring, very knowledgeable, and spends time with you. You might have to wait a bit, but it is worth it.

The procedure he performed on me was pain free and not at all intimidating. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything very thorougly and easy to follow. I would highly recommend Dr. Arris. ?????????? Keith Ruby
