Clear and concise instructions for checking in, and Dr.Anderson was very informative about what could potentially be happening in the target area. The Nurse Jackie was very nice and cool.

Probably the best doctor experience I’ve had in at least 10 years!

Very knowledgeable with injuries to HS athletes. Excellent explaining diagnosis and treatment options. He’s helped my son through hip, back, knee and shoulder issues.

Dr Anderson has correctly diagnosed 2 athletic injuries for my daughter. He helped her get back to playing at full strength without lingering problems!

Dr. Anderson is very knowledgeable, thorough and explains the situation very well. He and his office are respectful of the patient's time and incredibly accommodating to the patient's needs. Highly recommend.

Dr. Anderson was great today. He met me in person, he showed me my x-rays and mri, and he talked me through them in a way I could understand. In contrast, my PCP was good enough to order my x-rays and imaging, but then only sent me an online message to read my imaging results, which was text only, no pictures, and entirely in complex advanced anatomical medical jargon. To be fair, my PCP deals with more obvious and critical injuries. Mine is now subtle, resulting from a sports injury over 18 years ago. I learned of Dr. Anderson through the Pacific Northwest Ballet School. I was frustrated with my normal care team due to their lack of expertise working with dancers, and they recommended him. Dr. Anderson spent a good deal of time with me, he drew simple anatomical diagrams to help me understand his observations and conclusions, which I liked. He was patient, asked lots of questions to better understand. He let me talk and didn't dismiss my experiences and way of thinking. He set expectations, defined what he could and could not help with, what options going forward would be more worth my while or not, and his reasons why. I wish I had seen him 18 years ago after my initial sports injury. Thank you, Dr. Anderson!

I've personally been a patient of Dr. Andersons for 30 years and sent my kids and extended family to him. He does a great job explaining the symptoms and treatments. His expertise with athletic injuries make him a perfect fit for my family. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent all around. I have been seeing Steve for 30+ years. He is an excellent communicator, extraordinarily patient, and extremely intelligent. He doesn't rush into a diagnosis, but instead takes time to listen to his patients.

I found this physician's office very argumentative and rigid every step of the way, in a bizarre way I never encountered before. I called to make an appointment for my daughter solely based on this doctor's fabulous sounding profile online. A friend of mine who is a physician's assistant for a Swedish Ortho doctor told me I really needed to find an Ortho to check something out on my daughter because her office sees things that Children's Hospital missed all the time, and she was concerned about something with my daughter. Unfortunately, the doctor my friend works for only sees kids older than my daughter. I called and said that I was concerned about something with my daughter's back and hip. I was told that the doctor "does not diagnose things comprehensively" and I would need to make an appointment for one body part at a time, so I had to pick one. OK.... That was my first red flag. That could be fine, but the way she handled it was a bit off. Every most basic thing I said after that was an invitation for a fight to this receptionist. I believe she has oppositional defiant disorder, and the fact that she was hired is a reflection on the office to me. Another example is that I was verbally chastised by this office not once, but twice, when I tried to respect the city's COVID-19 guidelines to keep other patients safe when my daughter was sick. I guess it was an inconvenience to them. Again, a concerning attitude. We never did get a helpful diagnosis in the end. I am sharing this experience in case someone else has this bizarre experience with this office and is wondering if they're alone in that experience. No, it is not you. I have never in my life experienced anything like this office. I am sure the receptionist will fight this review, too. LOL. I regret having wasted my time, and my daughter's precious time, with this office. Now I know why my friend did not suggest we see Dr. Anderson. Very odd experience. They have a lot of rules. First of all, when I called to make the appointment, I said that my daughter's hip and back were hurting her and perhaps they are connected. I was told "He doesn't give comprehensive diagnoses like that. You can only make an appointment for one body part at the time." OK.... His online profile looked great, so I decided to continue, despite not knowing anybody who went to him. The rigid attitude permeated every experience I had with them. They also were very argumentative about the city's COVID-19 restrictions and verbally chastised me more than once when I wanted to abide by them to keep other patients safe. Truly bizarre! Never did get a helpful diagnosis.
