Dr. Achinger is fine as a general practice physician. He is not very helpful re: kidney issues and does not appear "proactive" in saving a failing kidney, offers little about diet, etc. He has low eye contact and focuses more on paperwork than the patient in front of him. Nice guy, just doesn't seem to impart knowledge well. Prefers you go to Urgent Care for immediate issues than get in to see him.
I have had Dr. S. Achinger as my primary care physician for several years and it's been perfect. He is friendly, helpful, understanding, listens; in short, everything you want in a doctor. I had my family moved over to seeing him because of my experience.
I've had many years with Dr. Achinger as my primary physician. He's always been reasonable, understanding, and helpful.
