Had my 1st 'age 50+' colonoscopy, as recommended by my PCP. Rather than go with the suggested in-network/in-system suggested colorectal doc, I sought out Dr. Abby. Best decision ever! Great office staff, easy to schedule the consult and colonoscopy and finally, Dr. Abby couldn't have been better to work with. Superior 'bedside manner'; the procedure was very easy and the follow-up has been spectacular.

Wonderful physician and staff! Everyone was very professional while also keeping it a relaxed atmosphere. Scheduling was quick and easy and everyone was kind and friendly. The physician is extremely knowledgeable and talks in a way that is easy to understand and has wonderful a bedside manner.I highly recommend this physician!

Dr. Abbadessa and his staff are fabulous. I would highly recommend.

The office visit was rushed to a total of 5 minutes. I was told to come back for a procedure next day and handed papers. It didn’t describe anything except the before and after care. I was told I would owe $800 for procedure and visit because my insurance was out of net. I paid $200. I canceled the procedure for the next day, because I felt uncertain. I called back to see if I could get any refund on this visit since I didn’t have the procedure. The total for 5 minutes- $200. Dissatisfied!

Doctor is not trustworthy and is pretty sketchy at best. I would not go to him for any procedure, even an office visit.

Billing is absolutely terrible.. BEWARE.

Worst experience of my life. Several months after my surgery, I am still in pain daily. Going in to get my surgery, I felt rushed. The open was ran as though it was a factory in and out of surgeries. He barely talks to you and Hans out papers to explain anytging. Before I went in I was in minimal pain but after my exam he opted for surgery and I agreed to it because I felt it was my best option. I realize that healing takes time, but the pain and bleeding is completely worse than before.

I love Dr. Abbadessa as well as his staff, I will turn around and walk right out of a Doctors office the minute staff mistreats me. I have been with this same practice since 2006. A note to new patients when you truly have a medical emergency call the exchange Dr. Abbadessa will actually call you back within 15 to 30 minutes . I tend to be my worse during early hours we are talking 5 and 6 in the morning I never hesitate to call . I admire my doctor because he is very straight forward.

I was referred to Dr. Abbadessa for a routine cancer screening colonoscopy. It was scheduled promptly and conveniently for me, was managed well from scheduling until the appointment date, was on time, and went very smoothly. Obviously they have this procedure down pat. There was a little mix-up with the prescription but that was partly my fault for not picking it up a week in advance per their recommendation. That too was worked out satisfactorily. I recommend.

I have seen Dr. Abbadessa for a couple of years now. He is not the same man that first treated me. He is a capable physician, but he treats his staff terribly. On a recent visit, I heard him yelling at one of the assistants through the door. He spoke to more than one staff member like they were stupid. Finally, the billing is all messed up, as well. He billed my insurance for services he did not perform on me. I wish the old Dr. Abbadessa would come back.
