Dr. Yu is a great doctor. I've been going to see him for the last 23 years. He helped me deliver my 22 year old daughter.

Zero Star. Do not go there! The environment is terrible, the service is terrible. They always overcharge you.

They have treated me through 3 pregnancies. Brilliant people!

The place is dirty every single time I come in. On Saturdays my appointment is for 9am the doctors don’t even get in on time they are always late! They also do not clean the trash out the day before and the place smells horrible. They have a wall of pictures of patients they have previously had. Dr. Yu is very impatient and disrespectful. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office!! I can’t even believe what I went through. I was so uncomfortable! And it was filthy! When I went to the bathroom the toilet seat was up, hair all over the sink and floor, no hand towels and it smelled! I’m in disbelief over what I went through and saw. Please do not go here! I was looking for a gynecologist for my mother because the place that she usually goes to didn’t have any appointment available until the next few months due to the pandemic. I made the mistake by booking her appointment here. My mother told me she had an appointment with a female doctor-can’t remember the name. The place is a mess and doesn’t seem sanitary, I can’t believe this place is even allow to operate. My mother said the Doctor didn’t wash here hands, no gloves while examining her. It was not a thorough examination and It was rushed through. She wanted my mom to come back to get another examination but she refuse. DO NOT GO HERE! As someone who works in the medical field I couldn’t believe my eyes! This place is absolutely appalling! The patient privacy violations in the rooms was amazing! The entire exam room was full of photos of babies and patients that he had. And that’s the least of the problems with this place! The sanitation and infection control issues are unbelievable! First of all there was no soap at the sink in the room, the sharps container was just out and open, no biohazard trash can insight, bloody tissue and such was just by the exam table with no lid or anything! (Anything that touches/is saturated with ANY bodily fluid MUST be placed in a biohazard trash bin) Then the most disgusting of all the speculum Dr. Yu pulled out was not wrapped in any sterilized packaging and when I looked into the drawer he pulled it from it had just been thrown in there with other random exam equipment that also was unpackaged as well as gauze and specimen containers that had liquid in them. Then he opened the cabinet door that was under the sink and just threw the speculum into a bucket of some liquid and left the room STILL WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Also Joint Commission has never certified his location and from my research doesn’t even have them in their system even though I have reported him as well as called the hospital he is affiliated with! Dr. Yu delivered my baby! I was transferring over providers since I had moved to Montgomery county halfway through my pregnancy and got recommended by a nurse to check out Dr. Yu. He is very experienced and has delivered many high-risk pregnancies, also he is so funny! “Don’t be a hero, get the epidural,” thank you Dr. Yu for making me comfortable from the first appointment until the very end! My daughter was sunny side up, he gently got her in the right position for delivery . If I had went to another doctor the chances are I would of had a cesarean. Dr. Yu delivered my baby 8 years ago. I’ve seen him ever since. He has always been very attentive, polite and gentle. I would definitely recommend him.

I would never recommend Dr. Yu to anyone that doesn't want a c-section. He was very impatient when it came to the weeks leading up to my babies birth. He began to warn me about some problems my baby was having in order to scare me into scheduling an induction with him. He called me right as I was having natural contractions on my exact due date telling me that I still needed to schedule an induction with him, that I couldn't just walk in the hospital unannounced. He then hung up on me. In the end my baby was born naturally with an epidural with the on call doctor at the hospital. There was no way I was going to have Dr. Yu deliver my baby after all the tension and stress he me through. I'm glad I chose to fire Dr. Yu at the last minute... If I hadn't it would've taken me weeks to heal with the scars of c-section and it would be harder for me to bounce back into routine with my 10 month old. I'm not sure how he is even in business with the way he forces his patients on his schedule. I would never recommend Dr. Yu to anyone that doesn't want a c-section.
