Dr. Hayes was very personable, and professional. I called and got scheduled right away. I had an ingrown toenail. He fixed me right up with no pain even after the shot had worn off. In and out in one hour. Staff was very nice too. I’d recommend him to everyone.

Had an appointment on Feb 8 for pain in my feet, my feet have hurt me every since so bad that I can not rest at night

Office staff is super nice. Dr. Hayes is a great doctor who took my concerns seriously. He was very thorough and explained everything to me. I would recommend.

After being told I would have to have surgery by another doctor, I went to doctor Hayes on the recommendation of a Co Worker. I told him that I was told I had a bunion and that it would have to be surgically repaired. Dr Hayes looked at my foot and told me I did not have a bunion but instead I had an infected sweat gland. In twenty minutes he had my foot fixed. I had hobbled around on a hurt for 3 years because I did not want to have bunion surgery. Same thing happened with my mother. She is diabetic and her previous doctor told her they would have to operate on her foot. Being a diabetic that is the last thing you want to do. I took her to Dr. Hayes and he gave her a couple of shots in her feet and some insole inserts and she has not had any more problems. I STRONGLY recommend this doctor. Dr.Hayes ,did my foot surgery in 2009 .In my opinion he's the best!!

Doctor Hayes is very good but this is offset by the most rude and obnoxious office staff you will ever meet!

If it was possible to give a -10 review that's what it would be... Due to this Dr's lack of care one of his patient, a diabetic patient, now has gangrene in 2 of his toes the toes were initially infected the Dr did not prescribe antibiotics, this patient had to ASK for antibiotics and 2 different antibiotics did Not work... this Dr did NOT cut the dead tissue off so new tissue could grow back, even a nurse knew this was badly treated if not for her this patient would have not known the Dr's treatment was abominable... This Dr should lose his license to practice... This patient may lose his whole foot instead of just one toe which was originally planned due to a bunion... if I had a way to put a picture of this atrocity of this Dr's treatment I would... will begin this post by saying if I could leave no stars I would. I initially called and, was told my first visit would be September 4. At 830 but to arrive by 815. I waited 2 weeks for this first appt. As I arrived to the Dr. Office I receive a call saying the Dr has a medical emergency and would not be able to see me; I was frustrated to say the least ... mainly because I drove 45 minutes to see the Dr. I was rescheduled for Friday at the same appt time. Once again after leaving home and driving 45 minutes I received yet another call saying this time it was a family emergency and the Dr could not see me. The caller actually said to me “ I try not to schedule people on Fridays unless I have to ... because the Dr always gets called away “ WHAT!???? I am leaving this post in the hopes that others beware of this practice. This is a horrible impression on new potential patients. It it would be possible to leave negative stars, I would. Due to Dr. Steve Hayes' ego, I was unable to walk (or WORK!) for over 4 months post-surgery due to a wound that would not heal. Instead of referring me to a wound care specialist after a few weeks, he continued to pick and prod my surgery site (causing me to almost faint from pain multiples times), instead of providing the care it actually needed. When I finally got another opinion on the state of my foot from a doctor in Dallas, the other podiatrist said part of the surgery should have never been done, as it's not a common procedure any more, and much more safe to perform it another way. Please, please, please get a second opinion before going under the knife with Dr. Hayes. It it would be possible to leave negative stars, I would. So far so good I had my first foot surgery staff is caring and Dr. Steve incredible guy makes you feel comfortable

I had surgery this year on a bone spur. I have them in both feet but we choose to do the right one first since it was the longest one. Surgery went very well and the post treatment went as it was expected. I was off of my foot for 1 week and had the stitches out in about 6 weeks, since then the foot is doing fine and am looking to get the left foot done soon. I think Dr. Hayes is a great Dr. and would refer him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Hayes for several years for different reasons. I had surgery last year and I have done very well, went back to work in the 8 weeks that was suggested after my recovery. Dr. Hayes staff is very nice and very helpful. I have recommend friends and family to come see Dr. Hayes for all their foot and ankle problems.

I saw Dr Hayes for a Bunion. Surgery was the recommended treatment. I am about 6 months post surgery and having to have another surgery (different DR) to correct what wasn't done correctly the first time. He would not listen when I described the issues I was experiencing post surgery. Foot is worse now then when I first sought treatment. My big toe won't bend upwards. Nurses and assistants were friendly but front receptionist was down right mean every time I had contact with her.
