Only 1 star because that's the lowest I could give. I was referred to Dr. Chen for fatty liver and mildly enlarged spleen. Well, he wasn't worried about my spleen and for the fatty liver (that I've had for ever as most people do) he told me to lose 30 lbs. I explained I've had 3 major back surgeries in 2 years, then asked how I'm supposed to lose it. I know I need to, but kind of hard when laid up with those kind of surgeries. Then he seen in my records that I have a small hernia. I showed him the huge lump on my stomach. He pushed on it a little and told me it was scar tissue. Really dude?! I have a medical background and I know my body. A few days later I had and ultrasound done for abdominal pain because I knew the hernia was getting bigger. Well, the ultrasound confirmed that. So if Dr. Chen were trying me, the hernia would have gone undiagnosed. He said it was scar tissue! I read reviews for Regional GI and Dr. Chen before my appointment.
