Stephen Lee Winston

Dr. Winston was my pain specialist until he retired and moved to Florida. When I first started visiting Dr. Winston, I found his bed side manner a little off putting; however, the more I saw him the more I liked him. He worked very hard at trying to find a mixture of treatment options to control my pain. At one stage, I was ready to give up since nothing seemed to work. However, Dr. Winston said he wasn’t ready to give up. I wish he was still here to see the results of my surgery on my back. With pain medicine, most of my days I am without pain. I’m going to work myself off of the pain meds again since I think they are not really helping that much and may be increasing my pain some. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Winston since he kept me sane and as pain free as possible until I could finally get in to see a surgeon. Covid made that difficult. While my new doctor is okay, I still miss Dr. Winston a lot!

Dr Winston is a very down to earth Doctor he listens to you and Truely cares about his Patients he has helped me Regain my Life back i can go about my everyday activities with less pain and if any issues occur he says to simply call him and describe whats going on , and then will adjust to make things better so that it works for you . So I say thankyou to Dr winston for what he has done in my Life. I was first a patient of Dr. Winston in 2006. After 5 surgeries from other doctors which did not help I returned to Dr. Winston in 2019. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Winston. He has strived to cure or reduce my pain with many efforts at different procedures but with no success. I will keep working with him. I cannot recommend him to anyone else however based on the fact that he has not solved any of my pain problems after months of trying. When he does based on all the other good things he does I will call everyone I know to tell them how great Dr. Winston has been. I cannot send them that way until I am comfortable he can help them. I am sorry.

Dr Winston is absolutely amazing. He is such a caring and respectful doctor. I would and have recommend him as well as the staff at East Paris to anyone.❤️

Dr. Winston was the only Dr. to take my back pain seriously. I had been bounced around from dr. to dr., specialist to specialist, and every other dr. insisted there was nothing wrong with me because of my age and lack of injury event. Dr. Winston discovered that I had a severe herniated/ruptured disc and suffered from degenerative disc disease and finally got me to a neuro surgeon who helped me, basically saving my life, as my quality of life was greatly impacted by my pain. I can never thank Dr. Winston enough for being so patient with me, listening to me, and doing everything he could to help me and get me back to a normal way of life. I have a lot of faith in Dr. Winston. He is tenacious at finding a way to control your pain. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr S Winston for many years. He always takes the time to listen and really hear my issues. Excellent care and treatment!

Does not answer or return calls. Horribly poor communication. Took 12 hours for the hospital to even get through to anyone from his office!

He’s the best at relieving pain.

Dr. Winston has been my cronic back pain manager since 2005. He and his staff have made a dramatic difference in my quality of life. I would highly recommend Michigan Pain Consultants, PC to any and every one who has any type of pain. Thank You Dr. Winston.

Dr Winston's a very caring doctor and will not quit until he finds an answer for his parents,His only problem is he is so busy it is difficult to make an appointment ,sometime it's defficult to get an appointment in less than a month

Spent 2011 - 2013 trying to get control of horrendous pain after surgery. My surgeon sent my records, including a statement that I’d never be without pain due to evidence in diagnostics & surgery. I was treated as a drug seeker, even though I had not asked for any drugs until I was completely hopeless from trialing all injections & medsrecommended, except for opioids. I was compliant, beyond patient. When asked for something to help, I could no longer live in such pain, I was yelled at. Horrific

I have only been to Dr Winston. He has been such a help with managing my pain and his nurses couldn't be nicer. Very lucky to have been referred to him

I would say I've never been to a better Dr. As Dr. Winston , he has been very helpful in trying to figure my pain out !He calls me a difficult case . That being said he hasn't giving up on me , he takes his time, very detailed and very honest to the point . I would highly recommend him to anyone who has spine, back and neck pain !
