I have never been so ashamed of a medical professional in my life. My husband was a patient and he prescribed to us what we thought was a rid all for the pain medication he was on, and he was on it for his pelvic pain/pudendal neuralgia. This medication made my husband go through complete withdrawals and made him act like a crazy person. Dr. Tafor said he just didn’t want to get off the pain medication. Of course he did. And then just dropped my husband. Thank goodness for Emory, there are doctors that do care. But wait there is more, went to try and get help from the same center Tafor is in and was told that My husband was just there for the drugs. Tafor, your lack of care and straight disbelief that my husband is absolutely sick is amazing and I’m shocked you still have patients.

Hemlock Pain Center has it all: attentive and compassionate doctors, nurse practitioners, and office staff. It is so important to have someone who listens to the patient and delves a little deeper to help you. I've been coming for close to 7 years and I will never go anywhere else.

Dr Tafor is an amazing doctor and the only one I trust with my back . He has helped me with my Rheumatoid pain and my back issues . He's the most pleasant physician I've ever encountered in 54 years....i love Dr. T.....thank you for being my physician.

This has been the absolute best surgical-follow up treatment I've ever had. Dr. Tafor has changed my life for the better. I can't say enough good about him, the facility, or the staff. If I ever need similar care I will most definitely return.

I waited in the office for over 1.5 hours without being seen. It appears that he over schedules appointments or is late to work. I arrived at 9:30 and still was not seen at 11:00 AM. As the customer, I demand better service. I take time off from work to see the doctor and loose vacation or sick time to sit in a room for 1.5 hours... not acceptable and definitely unprofessional.

This place is a huge joke. The person I spoke with could not even get her story straight. Tried to explain to her my situation but she literally would not understand. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Dr. Tafor was a very involved and caring physician for years. Once "opioid epidemic" became a national talking point, that all changed. I began to feel like an obstacle that they needed to clear from their practice. They were finally able to succeed with that recently, with no concern to my well-being when it comes to opioid withdrawals or pain management going forward.
