Dr. Stephen Snyder

Since Dr. Stephen Snyder has been my Primary Care Physician, I feel that his desire to make me, as a patient, feel that he is taking charge of my health is very obvious. I have gone through a lot of tests, lab work and blood work to get to the bottom of my illness and pain. He also has a mighty good person in his lab who knows how to draw blood with you barely knowing that it is being done. I congratulate his staff also as being extremely conscientious.

Very kind and personable doctor. He was very attentive, knowledgeable and went over and above to make sure I received the best medical care.

Doctor Snyder would always send me to another doctor. Would never give me pain medication to control my blood pressure so my blood pressure stayed uncontrollable. Now that I’ve changed doctors, my pain is much better and my blood pressure is controlled. It’s 117/73

Dr. Snyder is kind and caring. When my mother was very ill, he would call her at home to check on her - she just loved him. My case was a little different - I went to him for over 4 years with chronic debilitating pain and exhaustion. He would run tests and tell me everything looked fine, but obviously, something was very wrong. After all of that time, he finally suggested it might be Fibromyalgia and sent me to a Rheumatologist that confirmed the diagnosis. I finally switched doctors partly because it was a long drive, and partly because I don’t think he necessarily keeps up with the latest medical news and information. On another note, his staff is horrible! It is difficult to get through to make an appointment and they show no concern for patients. I saw him instead of my normal pcp and it was not a good experience. He'd ask me a question and then not pay attention to my answer which he never let me finish answering anyway. I tried to talk to him abt my symptoms but he was so focused on the guy operating the computer, he acted like he didn't hear a word I said. Then he cut my pain medicine dose in half and told me if my pain gets worse to go to the ER. Lousy Dr and my Dr will be out awhile yet so I'll probably be forced to see him again, wasting my time and money on a Dr that has no interest in helping me. The only good thing is that he does seem to take a more aggressive approach to finding out what is causing the abdominal pain. Because he is such a good doctor. He is very professional. He cares about his patients. He takes his time with them. He listens to what you need and doesn't come in acting like he's in a rush. He makes you feel important when you come in to see him. I chose him for my husband back in the 90's when I was working at a hospital on med/surg taking care of patients and I watched different doctors with their patients and he was always so kind and always went beyond the call of duty with his patients. I have sent several friends and family to him and to this day, I still see him. He is the kind of doctor who would check on his patients who are seriously ill to make sure that they are doing okay. I remember before my husband died, there was many days, that he would call to check on him. He was great support for me because he was not the easiest person to take care of all the time. There were times he was very difficult. My mother was another one. I could never thank him enough. I will recommend him to everyone. You just don't find them like him anymore. Dr. Snyder is very caring and thorough. Listens closely to my concerns and addresses them. He is the only doctor i’ve Ever had that would contact me on a weekend to follow up on a test result or concern.

He's a great dr and if he can't find the problem he will send you to someone who can. A good Christian Doctor

Dr. Snyder is undoubtedly a great physician... he provides excellent care for his he listens to you and he is very patient..he treats you like a person and not just an appointment...my only complaint..... contacting a live person at the office by phone...I understand they're busy...most of the calls can be handled in one minute or less...I know mine can.... but when you do manage an appointment to see Dr. Snyder you won't be disappointed... My experience with having Dr Snyder as my dr. He is a caring dr about his patients and there health his nurses would give me a call to do a follow up after I had been in with a problem he always perscribe the correct medication, I'm very saith him will refer friends and family to him.

Don't use your gps to find this place, you will be lost. Dr. Synder is a good caring doctor, his short handed staff will raise your blood pressure. When you call you will either be asked to hold or just put on hold. 5 to 10 min hold times are normal. I also found calling in 4 times and within 3 weeks from a visit letting them know your pharmacy still doesn't have a prescription is also normal. It feels borderline like the staff doesn't care about others time but I'm going to guess they are short handed. Just prepare yourself for frustration.
