Been going there since he took over the practice. Always a good experience with the Dr. And staff.

I had massive anxiety about going to the dentist. HAD. I am much more relaxed now that I am a patient here. Friendly, thorough hygienists and office staff. VERY clean, new, updated office. Dr. Sheffield and Clark are talented dentists who are gentle and skilled at thier craft. I have had a few fillings as well as an implant and there was no discomfort. 110% recommend.

My cleaning was super thorough and everyone is so friendly!

I have been going here for many years as have much of my family. Even though our insurance is not in network, I still won't go anywhere else. They are always friendly and I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The new office is very nice with plenty of space and easily accessible. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Dr. Sheffield for a few years now. Earlier in the year I had fallen and knocked my front tooth out of the socket. I was able to put it back in, but the healing didn’t go as hoped. Today, I got a consult and impressions for an implant. It’s stressful especially because it is my front tooth. There isn’t anyone that I would trust more than Dr. Sheffield. He is much more than your average dentist! And as an added bonus when you visit, his staff is great too! The practice is run like a well oiled machine.

I would highly recommend this office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I switched to Lafayette Dental after a coworker recommended them. Wish I had done it years ago !

Extremely friendly professionals. I’ve had cleanings, fillings, implants and crowns done since I started with Dr Sheffield and each experience couldn’t have gone better. I love the text message reminders and the way they have handled filing insurance claims. I’ve already recommended to my friends.

Had to have a filling redone, and was quite anxious. It was all for nothing as I didn’t even feel the n ovocaine! Dr Sheffield is extremely skilled, professional and personable. The office staff is fantastic. They feel more like family than a dental office administration crew. So grateful that they’re only located in the next town over, but I would travel 50 miles to be treated here - they’re THAT GOOD.

So impressed with everything about Dr. Sheffield and his staff. As an older patient ,having not been to a dentist in many , many years I initially went in for an acute tooth issue.Lafayette dental fit me in to their very busy schedule ,popped out my tooth(no pain) and sent me on my way.No comments on the horrible condition of my teeth so I went back and had everything fixed plus a partial.The whole process took about 5 months and Dr. Sheffield’s work was wonderful with no pain. All financial/insurance obligations are laid out ahead of time so no surprises. His techs and hygienists are always professional. Enjoyed my routine cleaning. Most of all I have been cured of my dental phobia. Thank you ,Lafayette Dental.

First of all, Dr. Sheffield and his staff are all very nice, very helpful and make me feel very comfortable. They gave up-to-date, state of the art equipment and are professional in their skills and demeanor. They are detail-oriented and thorough.

Two for two! Painless, I mean, ZERO pain - during and after two implants with no complications. My first, about three years ago, was an implant to fill a back molar gap fitted with a crown that has been doing so well I decided to fill a second back molar gap. All is well! P.S. Dr. Sheffield's more routine services are awesome too.

Dr. Sheffield and staff are always professional, friendly and comforting I guess you could say since no one likes to go to the dentist. I like to give Dr. Sheffield a hard time when I go but that's only because I like him. A great bunch they are.

Recently I underwent an extensive dental procedure performed by Dr. Sheffield (not to leave out his assistant Katie) . Because of my lifetime of grinding teeth, my entire lower mouth and my bite needed to be rebuilt with crowns. This marathon hours of dental work left me with a real appreciation for the skill and care that these folks are providing for all their patients. I was treated like family by everyone in this office. Most important when I smile in the mirror I couldn't be happier

I am a current patient at the practice. I had been experiencing pain for a couple of days. I called the office a little before 1. They scheduled me for a 2:30 appointment. I underwent a root canal as there was a cavity under my crown. I was back in my car at 4:00 and had my next appointment set! I was so happy to be pain free. I was treated professionally, promptly and had everything, including my options, explained. Job well done and so appreciated!

I recently lost a filling in a visible location in a front tooth. When I called the office, they had me come in immediately.
