I have recently reached back out to Dr. Sentovich to help with my son. He was my surgeon in 2007 and I wouldn’t trust ANYONE else to help my son. He spent SO much time with me reviewing my options. He answered my (many) questions and never made me feel stupid for asking them. My surgery went great and I’ve stayed in touch with Dr. Sentovich to let him know how much I appreciate what he did for me. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sentovich.
I am very concerned with this physician and his staff due to a number of issues. I had an appointment on Tuesday, July 16th and saw the physician. He came into the room with just a sheet of paper and although I had forwarded documents from the referring Gastroenterologist, Dr. Sentovich acted like he knew nothing about my health situation. He did not keep steady eye contact with me, but was looking around like he was bored. Also, I was told I would be having a consultation versus an examination. To my embarrassment, he examined me when I was not ready for it. When I got dressed, he said that I needed surgery to remove the mass on my bottom. I waited 30 minutes for his "Scheduler" to assign me a date for surgery. I was then told that the Scheduler was "...busier than she thought she'd be and had no time to see me to schedule me for a surgery, but would call me at home." Well, it has been a week and I have not received one phone call from Dr. Sentovich's office. Not happy.
misdiagnosed me in the beginning....had multiple procedures done for the same issues...seems like he might have been rushed each time to complete all his surgical appointments...
Stage 4 colorectal, age 39. Dr. Sentovich performed a resection and an ostomy reversal. My digestion is now normal. I highly recommend him. CJ Josef
