Caring and thorough, he will take his time discussing your health issues and answering your questions. He never tries to rush you, that’s why he tends to run late, but worth waiting for.

I liked Dr. Stephen Rosenfeld but his work is so severely undermined by the office around him that I cannot recommend seeing him as long as he remains at Virginia Heart. Virginia Heart is some combination of predatory and incompetent. They steered me to an in-house procedure that they were going to charge an exorbitant rate for--I instead got the same procedure for 90% cheaper (!) from a different provider. They kept me on hold for 30 minutes leading into their 1-hour lunch break, sat on diagnostic results for several weeks before finally reviewing them when I called to check in, failed to provide a medical record I requested, and lost track of my payment after they backdated my invoice date. In fact, I just received another bill weeks after paying off my balance. Stay away! There are other cardiologists in this area that are far more trustworthy.

Dr. Rosenfeld was terrific. He spent more time with me than most all other doctors. He was very thorough and his staff was very good too.

I enjoy my visit with Dr Rosenfeld. He Takes his time and listens to me concerning my health and give sound advice on what I should do to keep myself healthy.

I’m happy, but had to wait for over an hour to see the doctor!

My first visit back since Dr. Miller retired. I was sad to have to meet a new doctor but Dr. Rosenthal was very kind and took a lot of time with me. I was pleasantly surprised to be happy with a new doctor after many years with Dr. Miller.

Truly one of the best doctors! Was referred to him after abnormal EKG. My initial appointment was not at all rushed as he carefully examined me, explained what possible heart issues were, and answered all of my questions. He recommended two tests and explained exactly what they would do and why he thought they would be helpful. What surprised me was that after results from each test came in, he called me to talk through the results (which were good!) and what they meant. Again, he answered my questions. He is clearly very knowledgeable and wants his patients to have information they need to make decisions. Everything about working with Dr. Rosenfeld and his practice was good - Office staff were great about setting up appointments with him and also tests outside of his office, including transmitting paperwork and results across offices.

I SAW THIS DR.TWICE AWHILE IN HOSP.I WAS GOING THROUGH HELL AND HIGH WATER AND DRS.TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW TO HELP ME.HE CAME IN,TALKED TO ME,CALMED ME DOWN A LOT,CRYING A LOT ETC.HIS BEDSIDE MANNER,HIS CLEAN WHITE COAT,THAT LISTENING EAR,JUST DONT GET THIS ANYMORE.SIMPLY THANK YOU.

Virtual or not, Rosenfeld is still the best!

Dr Rosenfild is very thorough and knowledgeable, he takes his time does not rush you and listens to you comes up with different kind of alternatives.

Great Doc; Thoughtful, careful and caring.

I have immense respect for Dr. Rosenfeld. He is very thorough and he is excellent in keeping his patients informed on the results of his examinations.

Dr. Rosenfeld dealt with certain issues discovered dering my echocardiogram while I was briefly in the hospital. Even though he is not "my Virginia Heart doctor" he called all my phone numbers and then asked a doctor in the hospital to call in a prescription. He was more than generous with his time and knowledge when I later called back and discussed the issue.

Dr. Rosenfeld is the best. But I'll elaborate. Dr. Rosenfeld is my mother's cardiologist. I accompanied my mother for one visit and was thoroughly impressed with his thoroughness and the amount of time he spent on the appointment. When he observed a decline in mom's mental acuity during a routine appointment, he actually called me later that evening at 9 p.m. Unfortunately, we were at the movies and I didn't hear his voicemail or see his text until we got home at 10 p.m. I texted him back and he actually called me back that late and spent over 30 minutes discussing my mother with me and my sister. We were very impressed with and grateful for his level of dedication to his patients. For background: My mother was a patient care supervisor / RN for a well known hospital. My wife was a nurse with another well known hospital. I accompany my wife on many of her medical appointments. I have my own physicians, of course. I also used to work as a medical secretary for a large medical unit in a hospital back in the 1970's. My point being that I've known and worked with a lot of physicians and can sincerely state that Dr. Rosenfeld is one of the best - knowledgeable, experienced, attentive & caring. Dr. Rosenfeld always takes time to explain what conditions I have in way that I can understand. I trust his judgment and his experience to determine the appropriate course of treatment for my conditions. His attitude is always positive and cheerful.
