Dr. Malone is the absolute best doctor. I would recommend him highly to both family and friends. He performed my spinal fusion December 2019. I never felt more confident than I did while a patient of Dr. Malone. He is meticulous in his practice and very well respected by his peers. Dr. Malone treated me prior to my decision to have surgery. He availed and educated me to every option to alleviate my chronic pain. His office staff support is superior, never a wait, never the feeling of being rushed, efficiency at its finest. Dr. Malone answered my many questions and attended to my every concern. I felt confident and empowered that we were on the same team. My recovery has been remarkable, thanks to the expertise of Dr. Malone. Thank you.

Above all else Dr. Stephen Malone knows his craft. He is clearly proficient in the human body and the effects that Spinal problems can have throughout your body. He not only listens to your pain descriptions and complaints, he observes your body motions, mannerisms, expressions and reactions to come to an effective treatment plan. He truly understands the human body and what more does anyone want from a Doctor when they are suffering and in pain? I am a recently transplanted native New Yorker who is used to a certain level and quality of medical care. In my search to find all new doctors here in Delaware, I have had to fire 3 other doctors (2 Primary Care and 1 Cardiologist)who were clearly incapable or incompetent or had an office staff who is even more disappointing. Dr Malone and his Secretary Jamie run that office with the highest knowledge, professionalism and polite Empathy that Delaware has to offer and I thank GOD I found them.. I give them my highest of recommendations !!!

I was refered to Dr. Malone to treat my injured finger by the emergency room Dr. After examining my hand, Dr. Malone never communicated his findings or his recommendations for care and treatment. The verbal communication I received was , Don't baby it and come back in 2 weeks. I sought treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Malone was EXCEPTIONAL!!! He is a no nonsense doctor, straight to the point, extremely honest, very stern but a sweetheart as well. If you're looking for the truth along with exceptional work, he's your man/doctor!!

He was very professional...he knows his stuff! He found small fractures on my back from an MRI last year. My previous dr. ONLY told me about the two when I fell although I've always had a bad back and asked him to really look! My bones are so thin his is not sure surgery is best option. I will never go to any other orthopedic dr only Dr. Malone

Doctor Malone listened to my problems. Then had me have a MRI. He was able to show and explain to me my problem. He makes you understand in laymen's words. I had the surgery and am very pleased with the results. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Doctor Malone very highly.

Dr Malone's practice is an overall warm environment and the staff is very friendly. Dr. Malone pinpoint the issue right away and advised me to have a certain procedure done, which has been very effective. No complaints here!

dr malone is a great dr i would recomend is to friends and family .and his office staff are great...

I really like Dr. Malone bedside manner. He is straightforward with his patients and he explains what he can and cannot do for you! His staff is great ! They are very quick to handle patients requests and paperwork requested by employers in timely manner ! They take the time to answer your questions and if they dont know the answer they will go to full lengths to help you find it! I would recommend Dr.Stephen Malone,s office to all my family and friends!

I had been having problems with my back for years and being military I was subject to the system. Finally I got a referral to see Doc Malone. I like his matter of fact attitude as he doesn't sugar coat anything. Some people need the coddling I guess. I left his office with all my questions answered and scheduled for surgery. Now it's almost a year later and I'm a new man. I feel so good not to be in pain every waking moment. Awesome Doctor and staff.

A complete fail as a practitioner and a human being. Aside from behaving as if I was wasting his time during scheduled appointments, his statements were unethical and abusive. He first diagnosed me with OPLL, gave a completely asinine explanation of what that is and told me that there was no treatment other than surgery. He then proceeded to tell me that should I injure myself, it would be “on the Christopher Reeve end” of catastrophic outcomes. Nice thought to leave an active, 44 yo woman with.

Awful experience

Very rude and uncaring doctor makes you feel very uncomfortable in asking questions about your procedure. Has been known to have some of his procedures fail multiple times.

Most unpleasant experience of any doctor I have ever seen would definitely not recommend.

Dr. Malone performed my spinal fusion in November. He is the first Doctor I have had that thoroughly explained the surgery and what to expect during recovery. I had a question regarding caring for the wound after coming home and had a call back within 5 minutes. He actually asked "Do you have any further questions?" I would definitely recommend him to all.

Great doctor and very thorough, knowledgeable and cares about patients. I had surgery done by Dr. Malone, I was scared due to failed surgery many years ago. But he is one I not only would recommend, but trust for any/all surgeries in the future should it.

Dr Malone gave me Excellent care while treating me for my condition Was well informed on what choices that I had and was confident in my choice of treatment and Doctor. Surgery was just as described and expected Would recommend this Doctor to anyone

Bad review for Dr. Malone here in Dover. My daughter explained to Dr. Malone she wanted the waterproof cast he was advertising 2 feet away because she is active and doesn't want the cast to get nasty over time and his reply was you do huh? He then wrapped her forearm in a regular cast and told her not to get it wet. She removed the cast 2 days early because it got wet and was nasty. He got angry at her and asked why she even came to the appointment. She came because she knows he has to see
