Dr. Liroff is an excellent Dr. He has great interaction with patients and is very thorough in his examination and explaining the issues and the options to correct the problem. He made me feel comfortable even after reviewing a video of the Resume procedure that I required. He generates a deserved feeling of confidence for the patient.

First, I do not generally write reviews. However I feel Dr. Stephen Liroff who specializes in Urology deserves my recondition. I didn’t know what to expect and was a little nervous walking into his office. He put my mind at ease by explaining the Rezum procedure that I was to undergo seemed kind, caring and explains things in simple terms. Dr. Liftoff and his HFH team deserve my positive recognition.

I saw Dr. Liroff for hematuria ... he performed an endocystoscopy not something you want to undergo ... his nurse, Stella, prepared me for the procedure ... very pleasant lady, outgoing and informative and very professional ... she explained what she was going to do and did it well and quickly ... she answered my questions about the procedure as well as she could. Dr. Liroff was a bit delayed because of an emergency but came in with a smile on his face and greeted me warmly, settled me a bit and then went about his work of doing the procedure. He explained the whole process in terms I could understand, told me what he was looking for and what he discovered in the process ... nothing bad. We talked afterwards ... thumbing through my record and tests he eased my concerns and assured me that all appeared well. He is a true professional , has a great "bedside manner" ... the kind doctor that everyone would like to have ... he explained everything and answered all of my questions.

Stephen A Liroff MD is as perfect as a surgeon can be--the best. I am 90 years old. Unfortunately one's body breaks down when you age. I had gradually developed urinary incontinence. I consulted Dr. Liroff about this regrettable problem. The cure--Dr. Liroff surgically inserted an AUS. I had no pain whatsoever after the surgery. An AUS (artificial urinary sphincter) is a device with a cuff that wraps around the urethra with a tiny pump that is placed in the scrotum with a balloon placed internally higher up in the abdomen. .When the patient presses the small pump in the scrotum the cuff opens up and allows the patient to urinate. For the first 2 months the AUS worked perfectly. After that my urinary incontinence came back, although it was not nearly as severe as before. Dr. Liroff is an incredible surgeon, the best I have ever encountered. I cannot praise Dr. Liroff highly enough. Dr. Liroff is a genius when it comes to surgery. Dr. Liroff provided me with a AUS bracelet

Literally almost killed me 3 days after my endo I went septic and was hospitalized for 10 days. Do yourself a favor if this guy steps into your room or pre surgery stall. Ask for someone else. Nice man bad surgeon.

I had a good experience with dr. Liroff he is one of the best urologist in Henry Ford system

Unfortunately, I’ve had to deal with many Doctors in my 55 years on earth but none have made me feel so comfortable like Dr. Liroff especially when the procedures were uncomfortable, he’s patient kind and explains things in simple terms… Thanks Doc

An excellent medical doctor who combines a vast specialized knowledge in urology, with that very important additional characteristic that happens to be the great interaction with his patients. He certainly is a “top drawer” man.

Dr. Liroff listened and ans. all my questions. Then he gave me a exam and gave me his opinion on what course of action I should take. Very understanding and had a good sense of humor. Which allowed me to talk freely with him. I'am now taking the prescription he gave me. I'am seeing some positive results. I would recommend the Doctor to everyone. Don R

Dr. Liroff is a wonderful outstanding Urologist. He is super easy to talk to with a genuine bedside manner. I can't say enough about him. He knows what he is doing and diagnosed me immediately. The staff was professional and very caring. I would not hesitate to send anyone over to him for care.

My visit with Dr. Liroff was very good, very professional. Dr. Liroff took time to explain to me my medical condition in details, and in such a way I could easily understand. He also showed me results of the CT SCAN that was done for me at the 24 hr ER center in Brownstown, Mi. Dr. Liroff explained to me all of my options and helped me to clearly understand everything going on with my medical condition. I will recommend Dr. Liroff to everyone I know who needs his professional services.

Dr. Liroff provides a calm and supportive answers to questions and what is needed for your recovery. He describes procedures that need to be done and how they are implemented. I've got nothing but the best to think and say regarding my experiences with Dr. Liroff. He and also his staff (especially nurse assistant Stella) are the epitome of professionalism. My visit with Dr. Liroff can best be described as one that was professional, thorough, and well organized. I felt immediately at ease: he answered my questions precisely, and knowledgeably. I found him to be meticulous in his physical examination, and kind and sympathetic in his questioning. He took time to listen; gave his full attention, and never did I feel rushed. I felt very satisfied on all counts. I would give Dr. Liroff. My highest recommendation.

I've been a patient of Dr. Liroff for the better part of the past 8 years. I've found him to be compassionate, patient, and very thorough. He's friendly, warm, engaging, and always willing to answer questions and explain things in a clear manner. I would recommend him highly for those seeking a urological consultation, and treatment. On a side note...I have known of Dr. Liroff since 1980 when I used to work at Henry Ford Hospital. He has an excellent reputation with patients and staff.

My first visit and first impression of Dr. Liroff is that he is a genuinely caring and compassionate doctor. My diagnosis was blood in my urine and of course that was of great concern. He carefully explained the procedure(s) that would take place and it put me at ease. He scheduled my procedure's in a timely manner and of course that eased the concern of waiting and worrying about what was happening inside of me. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Liroff to my family and friends.

Dr. Liroff is beyond competent and professional. His manner makes it obvious he cares about me and my health..The pleasant way he talks to me, puts me at ease..

I went to Dr Liroff im May 2016 with psin in my right kidney. After taking blood, and urine Dr Liroff cams back and told me it was not kidney stone pain, even though I had a stone that was 10.5mm, itvwas muscle pain. As it turned out my pain was caused by a 85% blocked Ureter on my right side. I was refered to Dr Liroff by the Detroit VA HOSPITAL because the VA couldnt provide the care i needed in an acceptable period of time. Dr Liroff came across with the attitude that he was getying paid by the VA so he wasnt going to get paid what he would make from private insurance. Dr. Liroff is very thorough and knowledgeable. Before he offers a treatment, he researches and explains it to you. He is genuine and cares about the overall healthcare of the patients. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Stephen Liroff is a superior doctor in all ways. He is extremely thorough, meticulous, and comprehensive in his investigations of my conditions. Due to this extensive experience, he performs examinations and makes recommendations that encompass not only the symptom, but present a complete picture of the issue(s) at hand. He painstakingly strives to inform me in a manner that I can easily relate to and understand. Quite simply, he is a wonderful person and an exceptional doctor.

I would not recommend Dr Liroff for anyone for complete disrespect to anyone's time. First, he not available for two months and then when the appointment date finally came, I took my son for check up and he didn't show for more more than 1 hr fter we went into the exam room plus another 15minutes in the lobby. We just left the hospital as this is complete disrespect to ones time. I will never ever recommend Dr. Liroff to anyone.
