My mom has a cancer spot on her forehead (size a dime). Dr. Kovacs removed it in 1 visit (3 tests) and after 1 month her face has no signs of any surgery. Scar is very invisible. Very professional work!

I had seen a dermatologist for a growth on my arm. That dermatologist referred me to a hand surgeon. After 4 visits between the two and no resolution, I was told by a family member about Dr. Kovacs and to make an appointment with him. Within our first appointment, he told me what the growth was, removed it, and how to help it heal at home. The appointment with him took about 30 minutes to resolve an issue I had been having for MONTHS where no other dermatologist or surgeon could help at all and he also sent me home with a lot of materials to help to at-home healing process. I really cannot recommend him highly enough -- so professional and efficient!

Writing this for my husband the die hard flip phone user. :-) At our last annual skin cancer check up Dr. Kovacs identified a squamous cell carcinoma on the right side of my husbands forehead. The Mohs proceedure was scheduled. Julie was very supportive and explained and sent the information for the prep and post op procedures. On the "day of" my husband said he was comfortable throughout the procedure, kept informed and Dr. Kovacs repeatedly checked in to be sure the area was still numb so he was never in pain. We then followed the post op instructions verbaitum once home and the results of Doctor Kovacs' work are nothing short of amazing!! You would never even know he anything done there and most importantly he is cancer free! Dr. Kovacs is a dermatologist and does moms surgery. He was so kind and easy to trust. I was not hurt at anytime. Three month checkup could hardly find the place that was cut. I would recommend him 100 percent.

Using the Mohs Method, Dr. Kovacs removed 7-8 millimeters of cancerous tissue from my right nostril without changing the appearance of my nose. I honestly don't know how he did it. His surgical skills are second to none.

Let's be honest.... nobody likes going to the dermatologist to have things surgically removed. I had put off having Moh's surgery for 2 years for that reason AND the fact that the BCC was on my face. After my appointment with Dr. Kovacs, I felt positively silly that I waited so long. He is extremely gifted at what he does. The incision on my face is almost undetectable. He takes extreme pride in his work, very friendly, even called the night before the surgery to see if I had questions. His office staff was amazing as well. I highly recommend !

Personable professional and very talented.. can’t even see where the skin cancer was removed.

I went in for an appointment and after paying a $40 copayment, I showed the doctor my problem and he simply told me he can’t help me because he “hasn’t worked on conditions like this in over 25 years”. You’re a doctor. Extremely unacceptable. The nurse (i believe) who works there is very rude as well. I tried getting my $40 copayment refunded and they gave me a hard time. Eventually, I did receive it. They didn’t even BOTHER trying to refund me. Imagine paying $40 and your insurance paying roughly $300 for a doctor to tell you he can’t help you. Unimaginable. I would highly advise against going to this criminal and excuse for a doctor. Look elsewhere. I went in for a squamous cell carcinoma on the tip of my nose. Dr. Kovacs discovered it was a rare form of Basil cell carcinoma and had to continue with MOHS surgery. After taking out a nickel size carcinoma on the tip of my nose he did reconstructive nose surgery to make it look as visually the same as before. This was my second time to meet Dr. Kovacs, both times for my mother dark spots. He is true professional and payed attention to detailes. Very knowledgeable and experienced could tell the issue right away, give very fast apoitment to do sergery to remove cancer spot and very important left invisible scar on her face. Dr. Kovac is highly professional and very adept. I underwent Mohs surgery at his office and was pleased with the entire process. The surgery was straightforward. Dr. Kovac described the procedure and asked if there were any questions. After the surgery, Dr. Kovacs worked patiently to ensure I was stitched up properly. Been going to Dr Kovacs for years for annual skin look over at his Framingham office. Recently found a BBC on forehead and had it removed via MOHS surgery. Dr Kovacs did a great job during the procedure, keeping me informed on the MOHS analysis after each round. After a couple of months, scar is barely visible. Highly recommended.

I have had 2 Mohs procedures by Dr. Kovacs. I was fully informed about what was happening at every step of the procedure. Best of all, no one has ever noticed that I have had surgery under my right eye. I plan to drive more than 90 miles each way to go to Dr. Kovacs if I ever need this type of procedure again.

I have had 2 procedures with Dr. Kovacs. Everything was explained to me in great detail, before, during, and after these procedures. No one has ever noticed that I have had surgery for a Squamous cell under my right eye. I would recommend him highly, and plan to drive 90 miles both ways to see Dr.Kovacs if I ever need this surgery again. I was a wreck going in, and actually became quite calm while I was there. The office staff were very helpful as well.

I have had three Mohs surgeries with Dr. Kovacs, and would recommend him to anyone. All three surgeries were on my face, and the scars are virtually invisible. Even better, though, the doctor is so kind, and professional. Each time, he phoned the night before to check in and ask if I had any questions.

Dr Kovacs is a magician. He has left no scars on me after a number of Moh's surgeries in exposed places. He is not only very professional but also very gracious. His whole office is welcoming. I recommend him highly
