Will not recommend this doctor. In a rushed! Looks like not prepared at all. As a doctor you have to be patient enough to explain everything specially ita about health and life. He explained a little but but he is in a hurry looks like he have meeting to go to!

He seemed nice enough to me, but I could definitely tell he has a side that may rub some people the wrong way. What I like is he spends a lot of time with you discussing the risks involved with surgery and I really appreciated that. He also drew me a diagram to compare apples and oranges, although he never mentioned oranges in the exam room. He LITERALLY said apples and bananas, which made me chuckle since it was right around lunchtime. It could be true that he may not have the best sense of humor, but then again, what surgeon would you rather cut into your child? One who is an utmost professional or a Patch Adams kind of guy??

I am sure others have had a positive experience with this doctor. We did not. Will not recommend. Will not go back.

At 3 days old in the NICU-7 months we successfully concluded our care w/ Dr. Kim. He elegantly navigated our son’s medical journey w/ patience clarity & expertise. He always kept us comfortable & informed of all angles of the situation. His kind & calm approach to communication was so appreciated. Above all he & his team got our son to a point of health & normalcy. While no parent desires complications for their child, it has been a blessing to have been matched w/ the professionalism of Dr. Kim

Our experience with Dr. Kim was nothing short of miserable. My son went in on an emergency basis with a collapsed lung. Dr. Kim immediately pushed us to do surgery and when I requested a thoracic consult, my request was ignored. He failed to do the proper testing, like a CT scan to properly assess the lung. My son tried to ask questions but Dr. Kim wanted to leave for the evening, moments later I caught he & the nurse making fun of the questions we wanted answers to, questions about surgery.

Dr. Kim is not only a fine surgeon but a true gentleman. He answered our questions, and my son felt very comfortable with Dr. Kim. Nice office staff.
