My Endocrinologist referred me for a mass/cyst growing inside left side of my neck. Dr. Keefe entered my exam room by starting off with, "I don't do surgery anymore, so if you end up needing surgery, I will have to refer you out." Well, that made me feel like I was wasting his time. I gave detailed information of my symptoms and even brought an MRI that a vascular surgeon had ordered to rule out a carotid tumor and also I brought the ultrasound my Endocrinologist had performed. He pulls up an MRI and we spent most of my visit going over that MRI. I was confused, because he was showing me things that I was unaware of and we didn't seem to find what the vascular surgeon and my endocrinologist had seen. I asked him to verify whose MRI we were reviewing. He said, "this was the only report on your account". It was someone else's report and he was in the wrong account. Now, I'm confused. He finally brings up my report and he quickly reviews that MRI and pointed out a few concerns. He wanted to do a Barium Swallow but needed to make sure it would be safe for me to do since I have alot of aspiration issues. On my car ride home, I had information from both MRI's in my head and could not remember what was mine and what was the other patient's results. They were suppose to call me back. Months went by and no call. When I went to my Endocrinologist this week, he showed me what Dr. Keefe had sent him. He had only typed the exact words of the finding on the MRI report. And he stated he referred me to another ENT, which never happened. It was a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY to go see this doctor. Run, don't walk!!!! Find someone else.

Disappointed. My review is not for Dr.Keefe because I didn’t meet him at my new patient appointment. My review is for the staff member that brought me from the waiting room to the examination room and all but told me that I’m wasting my time here. After she noticed I have Hashimoto’s her mind was made up that I didn’t need to be there and told me to talk with my ENDO about it at my next appointment. Told me that she doesn’t like wasting her patients time and money if they don’t need to be seen. Which could be appreciated, had I not had other symptoms that were ignored. After she spoke with Dr.Keefe she gave me the choice to continue with the appointment or to go home and be refunded. I chose to leave since she made me feel as though I was wasting my time and theirs. She made it out to the receptionist that my Endo has been tweaking my Armour Thyroid and that is why I’m having the symptoms I am. Even though I’ve had awful post nasal drip and constant snorting to clear my throat since I was an early teen. Also that I never spoke about my medication being changed in dosage, etc. I would also like to remind her that the doors and walls are very thin. Everything, true or false said about a patient to the Doctor is heard. Dr.Keefe was highly recommended by a close friend, however, I will never come back here after my experience with that staff member. Disappointed. Dr Keefe is an excellent doctor. He really works with me on my sinus issue. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing and ENT doctor. His staff is good too.

I was a patient of his for many years when he was at Augusta Health in Fishersville and am very sad that he is no longer there. Wonderful doctor!!!

First visit with Dr Keefe. He is amazing! Very patient and kind. He listens, makes you feel very comfortable. He is very thorough in his explanations which I truly appreciate. He is very focused on his patient. Patient doctor relationships are very important to me and he has far exceeded my expectations.

Warm and engaging with wonderful personality but do not recommend a neck lift. I had zero results & it was $6,900. I feel he should have known ahead of the procedure that lack of collagen in my neck was the culprit and the lift wasn’t the answer. I’ll never understand why that wasn’t stated until after the procedure as the excuse it didn’t show results. Nice man though.

Dr Keefe is SOOOO nice! Not only that, but he explains what he's going to do what the test results mean in a way that is easy to understand!

Dr. Keefe, and all of his staff are great people who truly care about the whole patient and the patient's family. They are very sensitive and patient with us mama's when we are worried for our child. He has been seeing our son for years now. When you call in for an appointment, they work with you and get you in very quickly. Our son had to have tubes placed at a year old. A few days before his scheduled surgery he became ill and had to go back on antibiotics. The staff called other patients to see if they would reschedule their own surgery so, once he was better, he could have the surgery as soon as possible. Some loving soul agreed and gave our son their scheduled time. There are not enough words to describe how blessed we have been by the staff and Dr. Keefe. Dr. Keefe is a wonderful doctor. He is very patient and kind. His office staff is Great also. They were happy to answer any questions. I had a tonsillectomy and part of my thyroid removed. I knew I was in good hands from my first appointment. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of and ENT.

Staff is great, and Dr.Keefe is fantastic. He is very patient and explains things very well. He doesn’t rush when he is with you and makes sure you don’t have any other questions left unanswered before he leaves your room.

I have known Dr. Keefe for years. As a former surgical practitioner and now a patient, I have found Dr. Keefe to be both kind and gentle. He is never rushed, he is generous with his time with patients. I believe him to be an excellent physician. The doctor is very nice and I was well treated by his nurse, but the receptionist is nothing but a rude, barking juvenile delinquent who berates people at the front desk over their bill, and is loud and rude and involves the entire waiting room by raising her voice. My whole experience with this physician was ruined, and I will not return. I was in tears and my husband called the office and complained as to how I was treated, but apparently they just blew it off.So just let her run people off.

Doctor is a great guy, pleasant and clearly well educated. The staff on the other hand is close to incompetent. Billing department can't answer simple questions.

Fantastic physician and staff!

I have had several procedures with Dr Keefe and would highly recommend him. He and his staff are amazing. I have always been very satisfied with the my results.

My questions were thoroughly answered and I felt comfortable and at ease in our conversation.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Keefe today and everything form the time I walked into the office until I left was professional and so helpful. After suffering for a long time with sinus and ear problems I feel that I am finally at the right doctor to get relief and hopefully put this problem to rest. Dr. Keefe gave me hope that he can fix this problem.

Dr Keefe was very helpful during my consultation regarding facial scars from a dog bite. He took the time needed to answer all my questions and explain exactly what procedures he would recommend. I was impressed!

Dr. Keefe recently performed a Tonsillectomy on our 6 yr old son. A Dr with true compassion for his patients! He is amazing with children. Our son absolutely loves Dr. Keefe and I wouldn't have chosen any other Dr to perform his surgery. Dr. Keefe has operated on our oldest son as well as my husband.

I absolutely LOVE this dr & his amazing staff! My son went to this office & immediately took to the Dr & staff with ease(which never happens). I couldn't make most of the appointments so my mom would take him & the nursing staff/front desk ladies actually went out of their way to call me & explain EVERYTHING to me that accured during the appointment. They called me once a week even if it was to let me know they hadn't forgotten about my son & getting an appointment set up. Even after being referred to another dr at UVA the staff here has still called me to check up on my son & even helped get in touch with the dr i was referred too since they(the other dr office) wouldn't return my calls. I have been to another ENT dr in the past & I will NOT go back to him. I will ONLY ever deal with this office again. I absolutely recommend this Dr office & how absolutely love how amazing your entire staff is! More dr offices should be like you all & just maybe we wouldn't hate dealing with drs. I recently had a mini brow and face lift done in the office and I just want everyone to know what a great experience it was. The office staff is wonderful and made it so easy. Dr. Keefe is wonderful. Dr. Keefe repaired my deviated septum and removed polyps that had formed in my sinus cavities. From the first appointment to the post-op visit, he was cordial, informative, willing to spend time answering my questions, and treated me like an intelligent human being. For starters, Dr. Keefe's office was able to see our son two months earlier than another ENT! His staff was so nice and helpful. He was so thorough and answered every question I had, before I had to ask. He was so kind and our son liked him very much. He is scheduled for surgery in a month, and we cannot wait!

I had pretty intense sinus surgery done recently and Dr. Keefe has been nothing short of a miracle. I had the surgery about a week and a half ago and I am already starting to see unbelievable results. Dr. Keefe is so thorough, insightful, knowledgeable and will not leave you hanging on any questions or leave any stone unturned. He does not push surgery as a primary option to fix issues (recommended an allergist to me to fix issues - my allergist was the one that sent me to Dr Keefe). You never feel rushed during office visits as he and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have the answers you need before your visit is over. I have not had a personal need for an ENT Dr. in my life currently. But as a professional that fits people with hearing aids I often need to refer my patients to an ENT. My patients always report back to me with a great deal of satisfaction with Dr. Keefe's care and expertise. Even after seeing another specialist that did nothing.
