My 4 and 6 year olds have been going to All Star pediatrics for over 2 years. I have never been super impressed so decided to take my newborns elsewhere but keep my older 2 at All star peds for continuity. When I called to schedule a sick visit for my 6 year old, All star pediatrics refused to see him "because I was taking my newborns elsewhere". They did not communicate this with me beforehand or provide me with any notice that they would no longer be my son's PCP. They left us stranded when he was ill. Very disappointing lack of communication and professionalism, not to mention unethical.

I’ll never have another pediatrician! This place has been so good to our babies and we always get great service and they're so caring and gracious! We been going to them for 8 years now and I just wanted to leave a nice review. Thank you to the staff!

We have 100% trusted Dr. Karges and his staff for 11 years now with our 2 children. His staff is always so caring and friendly.

I will drive to this practice even from a far away town or place. Dr Karges, Mary and other NP are very caring, they listen, take their time. Recently I had a long wait on a busy Monday, dr. Karges dedicated extra time to examine my child and listen to my conerns. They are not pushy and respect my choice in more of alternative care . Great practice !!! Smart doctor with a good heart. We LOVE Dr. Karges’ personality on top of his vast knowledge and attention to detail with our little ones. Everyone in the office is so wonderful!! I’m very thankful and proud to have such great care for our family.

Imagine If your child breaks their neck, and you need help getting paperwork done so your injured child (who just had a very traumatic accident), can at least get home-school instruction - you would expect that your primary care doctor would assist in anyway possible....right? You would expect and be absolutely grateful for any sort of feedback...at least make an attempt to guide you and your injured child in the right direction...right??? My son attends Northeast High school (Finance program ) and the school staff advised that I drop off paperwork at my Primary Care Doctor. This was to enable our family to get in-home tutoring during my son's time away from school. Any good parent knows -juggling your child's physical recovery and juggling your son's schooling, is a tricky and stressful balance. I cannot express how sincerely disappointed that Dr. Karges didn't even take the time to respond to my family's request. I'm going to make Northeast High-school keenly aware how poorly this was handled. I also coach locally and after my experience today, I will never send any of my athletes here. I dropped off paperwork 7 days ago, and called everyday for an update. I did not get a response , so I finally had to go in and see what the holdup was - I stood up front for 15-20 minutes and no one acknowledged me. Then - a few nurses said he couldn't fill it out - did they even show him? who knows.... This would have been somewhat understandable had Doctor Karges acknowledged the situation and personally explain why he could not fill out the home-school request - this was a fairly urgent request...I was very thorough explaining that I did not want my son to fall behind in school and that he needs this paperwork filled out .... Instead, I had to wait 7 days - my kid is set back even more. This was terrible customer service for a very severe situation and was handled in the most careless manner. Take your kid somewhere else, they deserve better than this sub sub par facility. To add insult to injury, I said I taking my son elsewhere and would like a copy of his medical record - they didn't bat an eye, but made sure to charge me for my medical record.!! I am floored and stunned by this. Dr. Karges, you have 4 kids of your own...how could you not help us at all ?

"Doctor" Stephen B. Karges insulted my girlfriend's parenting and embarrassed her, causing her to cry inconsolably after the visit. She came back to the car distraught and in tears. He then refused to apologize for anything and proceeded to act like a child at the thought, scoffing and saying "well im sorry you feel that way."

Awesome caring honest pediatrician! All my family goes to dr karges! Hes the best! Will tell you as it is. Will not try to sugar coat anything! Love how honest he is! Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Dr. Karges! He is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, natural-minded, and supports parents in their choices. As a pediatric health care provider, I recommend him to all of the families that I see! I feel lucky to have him be a part of my son's healthcare team!

Dr. Karges is an amazing pediatrician! He tailors every decision to your child’s situation. I appreciate his knowledge of nutrition and the fact that he doesn’t instantly hand out antibiotics and send you out the door. As a father of four kids, he certainly has seen it all and shares helpful parenting tips. We feel very fortunate to have him as our pediatrician. He is well worth the drive! Dr.Karges and his staff is amazing,they get you in and out quickly but never rushes you. The staff is also very friendly.Can’t complain at all.

I have 4 children ages 7,10,13 and 16, Dr. Karges has seen My kids since the day all four was a day old. I will never take my kids anywhere else he is the best doctor I have ever met and all my kids love going there.

Dr. Karges has been our pediatrician for almost 15 years. My kids are healthy with strong immune systems and I contribute this to Dr. Karges’ more natural (antibiotic abstinence) approach to health and medicine. Dr. Karges is absolutely amazing. Our 2 children(ages 8 and 11) have been his patients since their birth. He was able to hear a heart murmur on our week old son that the hospital missed at discharge. I have a place in my heart for this doctor! Both out son and daughter love Dr. Karges and actually look forward to going to check ups because they get to see him! His office staff are very helpful and sweet. I always know that if I call with a question or for an appointment they are going to be extremely professional and accommodating. For the last 11 years since we've been patients the nurses and office staff have not changed much. That's a wonderful thing to see because that tells me they really love Dr. Karges(like we do)and they like their work environment. I am so glad our friend recommended Dr Karges to us. He gives sound medical and parenting advice that aligns with our family. He can about his patients, the parents and the decisions we make together. He doesn't judge or pressure into vaccinating and gives his experiential and medical expertise to support his advice. We are laid back and so is he. I highly recommend him!

Love this doctor and his staff.

Absolutely love the front office staff, Dr. Karges, and his PA's. They are very patient, understanding, conservative, and work closely with the parents when it comes to the child's health care treatment. I wish I would have known about All Star Pediatric when my son was first born, but we will be sticking with this office until he is in adulthood and can choose his own PCP. I was so worried about finding a good pediatrician for my baby and Dr. Karges has surpassed all my expectations; he takes the time to listen to all your concerns and respects your opinion, he explains every detail about your baby development, an he provides detail instructions and counseling in ways easy to understand. He also relates to every situation or experience you shared and give you alternative solutions. My wife and I think Dr. Karges, the other physicians there, and office staff are excellent. I have recommended him to everyone I know that has a child or is having one. After our first child my wife and had about 30,000 questions, Dr. Karges answered all of them, and put us at ease. Everyone is the office is excellent with kids and everyone is helpful. Wonderful practice, from front desk staff to nurses to practitioners.Have been with them for almost 18 years and would not trust our 8 children to anyone else! Dr. Karges is warm, friendly, & knowledgeable, and listens to all of our concerns without making us feel rushed. In fact, he takes the time to build a rapport with the kids & their families, and is genuinely interested in them. He respects parents' rights to make decisions for their children without pressure or condescension. The BEST!
