Stephen Donald Jones

Dr Jones is a straight shooter--he tells it like it is (whether you like that or not). I'll admit, at first I didn't really care for him. When I had a followup visit, my opinion changed--personally, I like to know exactly where I stand with a person and I want them to be honest and candid with me--that is Dr Jones. There was a complication during my non-invasive surgery and it ended up being full-on open heart. Dr Jones handled it like a rockstar and followed up after the procedure to explain what happened and why they needed to do what they did.

Very slim

I consider myself fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Jones for my open heart surgery. He took the time to explain the process, check with a colleague in another department prior to surgery. And, yes, I have not seen him since surgery. Post op is handled by bright PA's that I trust 110%.

No visit but the greatest doctor I’ve ever met

Honest and to the point. Looking out for our best interest for a longer healthy life.

great today is one year since he held my heart in his hands and repaired it.am back to full strength and wish again to thank him for his skill and care.

3rd visit appeared to be in a bad mood and took it out on my wife. Extremely rude. First 2 visits he was personable and then by the 3rd total change. He came to waiting room to speak to my wife following surgery and that is the last time we saw him. Never visited me in hospital nor did we see him on subsequent visits to his office..only his NP. I had a complication from the surgery that is common, but was never told about it in advance. 2 months later I’m still not well.

Won’t recommend him. Bedside manner was poor. Reputation from his previous patients and colleagues was negative. Should have listened.

Difficult to work with. Not a pleasant working environment around him

Dr Jones is an exemplary surgeon, professional in every way, with a courteous and comfortable manner.
