This place is a joke!!!!!!! There is rude customer service, you can’t even talk to any medical provider about your medical care paperwork without making an appointment so basically you want a paper sign you have to pay for a hour visit. Ridiculous! All the good personnel staff have gone to work at other locations. I can’t get insurance to pay for my claim cause their fax service lost my paperwork! Kelly Matthews is super friendly, super funny, and suuuuppper smart! She is the best around, she knows exactly what she is doing and she is a great listener! ???? ????

Dr. Gomez has got to be the best doctor I’ve seen in 20 years. The ladies on staff are amazing and the office decor blows my mind. I was so nervous about seeing a new doctor during these troubled times but they take such good of their patients that my anxiety and nervousness was eased right out of the door. Big Country Internal Medicine has been very good to me. I began going there about 2017 and have been examined, treated and/or interviewed by every one of their doctors, and most excellent PA, nurse and phlebotomist. They are all without exception genuinely caring people, good listeners, easy going yet very professional and thorough. They provide in-house lab services so you don't have to go elsewhere to have lab work done. Their staff is very good about answering the phones personally instead of making you go through an automated system; any messages you leave will be delivered and acted upon promptly and I have never had to wait for them to process my billing before I could leave. They have a very good web site/online portal where you can post messages for staff, request appointments or review and print copies of your records, and if and when it is possible and appropriate, there is even a way to see and speak with your doctor from your smartphone or your computer. I feel they try hard to make office visits as pleasant as possible;. One of their exam rooms is even decorated with rock concert posters, record album covers and other memorabilia from the 60's and 70's! BCIM is my favorite medical care facility. II know they truly care about me and have absolute confidence in their ability to diagnose, treat and resolve issues with my health. Give them a try; I think they will become yours too! Absolutely wonderful care, kindness, and attention. I couldn’t be happier, and after suffering 15 years with a terrible doctor I’m so grateful for Dr. Jackson.

Dr. Jackson is a very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable doctor. He is the epitome of a true medical professional. He listens to my medical complaints that's why he's able to provide a solution to my medical condition which is a chronic headache. I truly and sincerely highly recommend him. Thank you!

My husband and I both use Dr. Jackson’s clinic. We use the other doctors in his office but I have seen him when my doctor was out. They are all wonderful and pleasant doctors. The ladies at front desk are sweet also

New, had heard some good things about patient care/etc. Annual physical: 45 minutes or so with a Nurse Practitioner who had not read my health records which I had provided and left the room a few times to "consult" which can be Ok in certain circumstances, of course. No lab work was done, almost no questions were actually answered and the doctor--who I had not yet met-gave me a hand shake and just over 3 minutes (I timed it) standing in the large reception area with people all around like a little meet and greet. Not satisfactory and while I am very healthy this is just not a good fit for me and does not come up to the exceptions I've had fulfilled with my health care in the past and expect in this new city where I now live. May be fine for many people--and I never mind NRs--they are fantastic and I adore seeing mine who works for my cardiologist--but not satisfactory for 1st time meeting (as if we actually met) and certainly not for annual physical. No thanks, and please stop calling.

I've Known Dr. Jackson since 1993, he is a great Doctor I trust him with my life.

Horrible service. Does not genuinely care about your concerns constantly have to bug them for a refill on my thyroid script does not run all necessary panels and gets aggravated when I question it. Been out a month now and noone is concerned having to call everyday and bug them for a refill or appointment. Horrible experience and service patiently waiting on an opening with a new doctor. Extremely kind and understanding Top Notch service and extremely wonderful bedside manner

They are very kind and helpful. You feel like they care about you and that you are part of the family.

I saw Ashely she was very kind a listened, I get very anxious and hate going to the Dr. but felt very at ease. Everyone was so caring and helping.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Gomez who is apart of this practice. I was so impressed by the waiting room itself. The woman behind the desk where prompt the entire time while answering phones and helping others. I enjoyed feeling out the first time patient information on the iPad, it included a lot of important questions that I'm not sure I've been asked before. I came a little early, got in early. The nurse was kind, followed up on some of the questions with me and was the one to take my blood later on, he was confident and it was fast and easy. Dr. Gomez himself was very thourgh and really made me feel like my health was in good hands between the two of us. It was overall a very amazing interaction with everyone in the office. Some people feel anxious when seeing a new doctor, having to explain your entire medical history, or just being in a new place but it really did feel welcoming and easy. Would recommend 10/10! The medical staff was pretty good. The receptionist that apparently handles billing, appointments and referrals is absolutely rude and incompetent. I have to really need to be seen because of her demeanor. Yes. it is that bad.

Dr. Jackson was great. He was friendly, showed a caring attitude and answered all of my questions. However, at 8 a.m. The Receptionist were not friendly and welcoming. Neither of them greeted me or acknowledged that I was in the room. I had to greet them and tell them why I was there. Poor customer service. This has happened before. The receptionist should greet everyone and not pick and choose who to greet. I give them two points. It’s the people that are upfront that determine friendliness of the office.

Dr Jackson is an excellent, caring, and determined physician to treat your symptoms/disorders accurately. He refers when he really feels you need to be referred to a specialist. He always checks in with you and his portal allows you to have access to all your records he keeps, including labs. He has a calm and collective personality, a listening ear, and a caring heart. He actually cares about his patient and does not treat them like a "number". I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

My husband was thrilled to learn Dr Jackson had opened an office again. He was even more thrilled after his visit. He had nothing but good things to say and tells everyone. I haven't had the opportunity to go yet but I look forward to becoming a patient soon.

These people are the best

Dr Jackson Is the best doctor I have ever been to. Just like the other day. I went to the hospital with cramps and numbness below my knee. They did this test and that. Sent me out the door with stuff to take. It felt the same the next day and called Dr Jacksons office. As usual I got right in. He saw me that day and within five minutes he knew what the problem might be. Sent me right then for a scan and come to find out I had little to no circulation from my knee to my foot. Have to go to Heart Doc now to fix the problem. The hospital ran all those test and nothing. Dr Jackson checked me for five minutes and figured it out. He took his time and found what could have been a disaster for me. This is what kind of doctor he is..He knows his medicine and is very knowledgeable in everything...I have seen him for years . We changed family drs over to Dr. Jackson and were well pleased. We were new patients and in the office in less than 3 days. We were in the room quickly with not a long waiting period. Dr Jackson discussed everything about health and I was happy with the amount of time he spent. Our dr notes were uploaded to the portal in less than 3 hours where I could view everything that was said and sent to pharmacy. The ladies checking us in were helpful too! We switched over to Dr Jackson office after being with another doctor for many years. I wish we had switched a long time ago. They are great. He is a very caring attentive doctor and his staff is wonderful also. Are whole family has switched over to his office now and everyone loves him.

I have been seeing Dr. Jackson for about a year. Him and his office staff have been nothing but exceptional. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to go back, and that is very rare to even have to wait that long. There are times that I haven't sat down yet and they are calling me back. His staff and has always been very courteous and considerate of any concerns or questions. As for Dr. Jackson and Ashley, they are phenomenal. They make you feel like you are there priority and not just another patient in the office. They are both very thorough and take time to listen to my questions and they answer them thoroughly. I had a "scheduled" appt set for 12:30. I am on time, early actually, but don't get called until 2:15 where a lady goes over all your info you filled out on their ipad while waiting. (Slow typer). The PA comes in with a laptop to find out why you're there. She says Dr. Jackson left for the day at 12:00 ?? So I didn't even see the dr and was referred to another dr. I get a bill for $108.08 after ins paid. The PA said she'd charge 1/2 because I didn't see the dr. I'd hate to be billed full amount

Best office I've dealt with in Abilene! I needed an appt within a couple hrs due to wife having a baby and they got me in within 45 min to accommodate my needs! Will definitely be switching to him as our pcm for myself and wife

They have been absolutely excellent. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a doctor give them a call.

The Staff at Dr. S. Jeffery Jackson is truly AWESOME. Dr. Jackson is a kind, caring and helpful. He truly cares about his patient and will do what he can to help them to feel better. Dr. Jackson and his staff are "SIMPLY THE BEST"
