I had surgery with Dr Hoenig and I felt the experience overall t be very good

Took a tough time and made it less difficult. The best i have had.

First class experience from beginning to end. The "in office" operating suite was fantastic and so much more efficient than going to the hospital. Dr. Hoenig handled my case with professionalism and skill. I am very happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family.

Provider took time and explain my condition.

No bedside manner. Spent maybe 5 minutes with me. Didn’t let me get a word in. Never again. Biggest waste of a copay ever.

Clearly an excellent doctor. Some staff are not terribly polite...

Dr. Hoenig is a refreshing change. Compared to other Vascular specialists I had seen previously, he actually listens to his patients! He is a very compassionate human being who is very knowledgeable and thinks outside the box. After reviewing the results of my ultrasound, he suggested trying a different procedure which appears to have solved most of the problems I had been experiencing. I would definitely recommend him!

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Hoenig’s for several years, and we really liked him from the start. He is very caring, and takes the time to really focus on the patient during our appointments, making us feel that we had all the time we needed to get any questions answered. Several weeks ago Dr. Hoenig performed surgery on my husband. There were many complications, it was a very challenging operation, and he quite honestly saved my husband’s life. I will be forever grateful to him.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Hoenig’s and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care he is receiving. He sees him on a regular basis and he truly listens to him. Dr. Hoenig performed an endarterectomy on my left carotid artery. During the procedure while clamping the artery it broke due to its very weak condition, he immediately removed the broken part and replaced it with a stent. His quick action restored the blood flow and prevented a stroke or brain damage. Dr. Hoenig's years of experience enabled him to respond quickly and precisely to provide a very good outcome. I a very satisfied with his care and would recommend him to anyone needing vascular care.

Will not recommend. I waited 50 minutes to see him and he spent 5 minutes discussing my legs. He never looked at my feet and briefly glanced at my legs. He had one foot out the door during his last two sentences. There were not enough chairs in the waiting room. I felt as if I was in the drive up at McDonalds.

For nine years we went to Dr. Hoenig every year for checkups. Suddenly, my aneurysm doubled in size. Dr. Hoenig explained each of my options and which option was best for me. My procedure went without a hitch. He did such a great job that I was never in pain or had any discomfort. I was up and active one day after the procedure. I am very thankful and fortunate to have such a skilled doctor and surgeon. Thank you Dr. Hoenig.

dr hoenig has always been upfront and honest. his skills as a surgeon are unsurpassed. he literally saved my leg and probably my life. i would wholeheartedly recommend him to any one in need of vascular surgery. his support staff is also topnotch.

Found carotid artery surgery more difficult than first imagined. But... all went rather smoothly as soon as the first week and swelling went by.

I was diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm over ten years. This past year it had gotten larger (over 5 cm); the point at which intervention is required. After getting a catscan, Dr Hoenig recommended a procedure whereby a stent is inserted inside the aneurysm. This was done June 6 of this year, and was a great success. I was discharged mid-day on June 7. I recommend the procedure and Dr Hoenig to anyone needing similar care. He and his entire staff were thoughtful, answered all my questions and in general, were first rate!

I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hoenig and his staff. He is both direct and informative, inspiring confidence in his expertise. The use of the latest technology is also reassuring. He has created a professional, informed, efficient, and well functioning team. I am most pleased with my results!

This was my first visit. The whole office was very busy, and the doctor was not with me long enough to form any opinion.

Dr. Hoenig is professional but personable and kind. He's very informed on the latest procedures and carefully considered and explained the best trestment for my 91-year-old mother. The medical staff are friendly, reassuring, and skilled. Office staff are knowledgeable about insurances and willing to accommodate patient needs. We felt comfortable there righ tg away.

I found Dr. Hoenig’s staff to be courteous and efficient. I felt that Dr. Hoenig listened attentively to my health concerns. Gave me the option of having an ultrasound right then or on another day. I chose right then and was accommodated within a reasonable amount of time, even though the office was fairly busy. Felt very comfortable with Dr. Hoenig and confident of his expertise.

I had a great experience here from start to finish . everyone was very helpful and my diagnosis and treatment was fantastic.

Dr. Hoenig skillfully repaired my life-threatening ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm fifteen years ago. It was critically located at the division point of an artery, and my pre-surgery survival was predicted to be only ten percent. The repair is still stable - wow! In addition to his surgical talent, his open and friendly bedside manner was very much appreciated.

Excellent Dr. Great personality, right to the point.

I required Aorto-Bifemoral Bypass Surgery, Dr H. was great in explaining the surgery and attentive in the post-surgery hospital visits. His knowledge, care, and patient-first attitude was evident by his emergency mid-surgery decision. His care is why I am able to walk without pain. His office staff was patient with the multiple calls my wife made on my behalf leading up to the surgery. The staff made Post-Op office visits pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hoenig.

Dr. Hoeing has does surgery on my mother twice to remove blockages in her carotid arteries! He has been fabulous! He is patient and really takes the time to listen and explain the procedure. I wish that everyone was as lucky to have such a wonderful doctor! I would recommend him to everyone I know!!

Four years ago, I had a Saphenous Vein Ablation done on my leg. Now, four years later, I needed the other leg done. I didn't hesitate to go back to Dr. Hoenig to have this leg done too. This time, he used a newer procedure -Venaseal glue of the Saphenous Vein. It was a less invasive procedure that I would recommend to anyone who has to have this procedure done. Dr. Hoenig explained to me what he was doing during the procedure which was also comforting. Thank you, Dr. Hoenig!

I am writing this for my Mother as she is 84 and doesn't use the internet. She had an abdominal aortic ayneurism graft a couple of months ago performed by Dr. Hoenig. We were all a nervous wreck because of her age and the seriousness of the procedure. I have to say, from beginning to end, my Mother couldn't have been in better hands. It was like nothing had happened. She felt comfortable with Dr. Hoenig the entire time and can't say enough good things about him.

After losing eyesight in my right eye for approx 3 mins,a trip to Emerson ER was in order. They discovered it was Amaurosis fugax caused by a 99% blkd carotid artery on the rt side with 75-85% blkd on left side. Luckily we were ref'd to Dr Hoenig who did surgery within 2 days of our initial meeting. The surgery on that rt side was a great success! I would be remiss not to mention Dr Hoenig's Off. Mngr, Shelly, if it wasn't for her, this life saving operation would not have happened so

I am very happy with the results of having an ablation procedure on the left leg and then a removal on the right leg. My quality of life has improved to the point were i am able to walk briskly 3 to 5 miles a day. I found both Doctor Hoenig and his staff to be professional and friendly at the same time. I prefer the small office environment that the Leominster has over other clinic like settings. Needless to say if I am in the need for vascular services again I will be calling Dr. Hoenig.

Dr. Hoenig's office seems well run and the staff is friendly, informative and professional. I have been to him for two ablation procedures and I was pleased with both. I would definitely recommend him.

From the moment you approach the administrator @ the front desk ,you find a comfort level which is much appreciated .They are both personable and comforting ,under the circumstances for being there . Dr. Hoenig operated on my carotid artery apprx .5-7 yrs ago ,but had kept a watchful eye on me for 2-3 yrs prior . I find him to be very professional and also brings levity to the problems @ hand .Make a call with a problem and can be assured of receiving an appointment ASAP. I have and do recommend
