I was a patient of Dr. Edge in 1988 , in Charlottesville Va. I was 22 years old at the time and was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Leiomyosarcoma. I was sent to Dr. Edge with a very grim diagnosis. Thanks to Dr. Edge I beat every single one of the odds against me. NY is very fortunate to have Dr. Edge, part of my recovery was his unending compassion, alone with his amazing skills as a surgeon. I literally owe him my life. So, thank you Dr.Edge… because of you I was able to raise my ( then) two year old son, who is now 35 and has given me 2 beautiful granddaughters. Very good visit/discussion with PA, Katie. Dr Edge was out of town.

Very thorough with a gentle touch. Dr. Edge instills a great deal of confidence in my care.

Always a feeling of confidence and care after seeing Dr Edge. He is very thorough and kind.

Dr. Edge is a wonderful, caring doctor and will spend as much time with you as needed to answer all your questions

My Dad was a doc, and the townspeople called him the "Angel of Mercy". Medicine was conducted differently then. Dr. Edge is much like my Dad. He listens, explains, traits which are seen much less often in medicine these days.

Dr. Edge is a very caring and professional. He takes the time to explain everything to a lay person's understanding. He went out his way to allay my worries. He is an excellent surgeon and compationate man. I would him highly recommend him.

Dr. Edge is extremely knowledgeable and caring. He is willing to listen to any questions and provides very detailed responses which are easy for laymen to understand. He is a skilled surgeon and I am extremely pleased with my results and his advice. He is on a limited schedule for seeing patients at this point in his career, but if you are lucky enough to get him, you will be extremely pleased.

Dr. Edge is a truly professional physician. I have always found him taking his time to answer all of my questions. He draws clear diagrams to describe your condition and how he’s going to treat it. With all of our nerves frazzled from my diagnosis of cancer, he left my family and me at ease after our first appointment and throughout my treatments.
