My first time seeing Dr Desilva, he was very professional and answered all questions in a method I could understand. He took charge of situation and administered additional tests to get full picture of issue at hand. He has an easygoing personality which makes you feel comfortable and at ease.

My husband had surgery with him, did really well the first 6 weeks. Then once the 1st cast was removed, he had terrible pain.... They were not responding to phone calls, nor returning them. He went into the emergency room at the hospital Dr.Desilva works out of , the basically said "He's a great surgeon and makes No mistakes." Wouldn't take any images, blood work , nor give him anything for pain. Sent him home..... He SUFFERED FOR DAYS. Until we went to a completely different hospital. They got him back immediately... X-rays, ekg, everything, exam, meds. Referred him to another specialist. Said HE SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS KIND OF PAIN AND DISCOMFORT.... His heart rate was so elevated from the pain , they were concerned..... Still his office didn't seem to concerned until the Doctors from the OTHER hospital called them directly... The whole experience was awful. I would not recommend him.... I have personally worked in the medical field for 20 years. This experience is very unacceptable....... VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. HE IS SEMI-RETIRED & SAYS HE WORKS JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT! I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED WITH WORKIG WITH THIS DOCTOR I WILL NOT EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO DESCRIBE HIS LACK OF INTEREST IN MY CONCERNS. I WARN EVERYONE AWAY FROM HIM. HE MAY BE AN EXCELLNT SURGEON BU HE IS A VERY POOR DOCTOR!

Horrible experience. Dr seems to do as little as possible with haphazard results. It looks like I had my broken wrist fixed at Walmart and feels like it too. Dreadful follow up care. I'm currently seeking seeking another doctor to repair my very painful ulna bone. I think this desilva is more concerned with keeping cost down for insurance companies as opposed to a good result for his patients.

Dr. DeSilva operated on both my wrists to repair my carpal tunnel syndrome, I'm finally able to sleep at night. He is a very capable surgeon and has a great bedside manner.

Thank you Dr Desilva, I have know him since 93 first hand surgery. And then and now he is and excellent Physician/Surgeon kind and caring. ..I went in in pain yesterday. Carpel tunnel.The injection was a piece of cake and already some relief, they said it could take up to 3 days already from a 10 to 3. wow. Thank you again

Dr. DeSilva surgically repaired a badly broken elbow one year ago. The prognosis for a good recovery with full elbow mobility was not great. However, within 4 months I recovered 90 percent of my former elbow mobility. I am very grateful for the care I received from Dr. DeSilva and his team. I would heartily recommend him for orthopedic care.

Offered and executed a very poor remedy for my broken wrist. I had to endure pain and another more extensive surgery to repair and create functionality in my right hand and arm. Would definitely not use or recommend this doctor.

Informative Doctor. I went to 4 different doctors with the same problem, no one could diagnose the problem. Dr. DeSilva said I had a rare auto-immune disease and referred me to a rhuemotologist. Early diagnosis was a life saver for me.

I was very disappointed. He is affable and pleasant but wastes your time. I went into his office with numbness in my right hand, wrist pain, and large lump on my wrist. He did NOT order an X-ray or an MRI. All he did is give me a shot of cortisone which did nothing. I will not be going back. I am going to go out of network to find someone less dismissive. To add insult to injury his office also charged me 85.00 and billed it as treatment room expense. Give me a break. What a joke.

Diagnosed me with Extensor Carpi Ulnaris Tendinitis. After 2 cortisone treatments, the pain returned 3 months later. Dr. DeSilva did not wish to further investigate the pain. I went to a different system and was found to actually have Ulnocarpal Abutment Syndrome. Glad that I did not continue with Dr. DeSilva or else my bones would be grinding away in my wrist.

My initial review with Dr De Silva was very positive ,he reviewd my Xray and explained why I was having elbow pain and movement issues. I have decided to have Dr De Silva do a procedure.

Dr. Desilva is amazing, I've had to see him 5 different times and he fixed me quickly and never had a complication with any surgery.
