Dr Courtney did my neck surgery and my 360 back surgery. I would not go to another surgeon, he cares about his patients and it shows! His staff is great as well! I trust his opinion and skills 100%

Dr. Courtney is knowledgeable and takes the time to really explain what’s going on and explain why you’re in pain and the several options to correct the issue. I never felt rushed and he was on time to our appointment which is such a rare thing. The rest of the office staff was absolutely top notch. They were really down to earth and so nice, you could tell they liked their jobs and were treated well. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. I felt very comfortable and I knew I was in capable hands just by the way he treated his staff and listened to his patients. Highly recommend.

Dr Courtney, Lori and the rest of staff ALWAYS take care of me. I have never felt so loved by a doctor/facility.

Happy to get some answers finally. Loved how matter of fact Dr. Courtney is. He also truly understands not wanting to just be "functional" but to be better to the level desired by the patient (athletic). He gives options of what can be done and how to get to each point. My only issue was he is a bit hard to understand, might just be my hearing, but I did have trouble understanding a few things (rate of speaking, clarity). He had no issue going back over and answering all questions though. For more quiet/shy patients, I'm not sure they'd get the answers they wanted as they may not speak up and ask. Dr. Courtney did give me the info I personally needed, but I did have to ask many questions to get there. Just something to keep in mind is to always advocate for yourself and if you leave with unanswered questions, don't be afraid to speak up! Drs likely have no issue discussing any and everything but I think they sometimes get to a point where it becomes repetitive and they may assume we know things when we don't. Overall, very happy with Dr. Courtney and his staff. His xray tech was super friendly and enjoyable to talk to as well. I would recommend this clinic to anyone experiencing back issues!

Dr. Courtney performed his first cervical fusion in 2004. The following year I needed lumbar fusion. The hardware he installed in my neck and back is still doing its job perfectly. I’ve always appreciated his thoroughness and professionalism and I know what I need to do to mitigate my issues and what he can do to help me. I cannot recommend him strongly enough. After having back surgery twice and being frustrated with the lack of care from my previous doctor I made an appointment to see Dr. Courtney. He is one of the most humble, funny, laid back and coolest surgeon I’ve met. He makes you feel like family. His office staff is amazing. His clinic Eminent Medical Center, where he performs the procedures, is also a 5 star facility. Every staff member I have encountered there has been so caring and professional. Such a great doctor! Extremely knowledgeable, comforting and actually dissuaded any invasive treatment, let alone surgery. This was for my 20 year old daughter.
