I couldn’t be happier with my visit with Dr. Andrews. He fully explained the results of a biopsy, assured me that there was help—and hope—with the diagnosis, explained the plan of attack, and scheduled that to be done 2 days later—incredible! There were no long days of waiting, which I fully appreciate. Thank you, Dr. Andrews.

This review is long overdue, but passing the 1yr anniversary of my surgery I wanted to share how incredible Dr. Andrews & his staff were. I had a rather critical state, low blood levels and a short time to decide about the surgery. He was kind, well informed and explained clearly what my options were, and quick to get me scheduled for the surgery. Just a couple months after losing my mom, and I’m so thankful I trusted him. My surgery and recovery wee quick with no complications or severe pain. I can’t thank you enough Dr. Andrews!

Dr was attentive and his staff caring. Explained procedures in advance, and answered questions. After procedure, explained what to expect and what care was needed in recovery. No rush and didn’t fell like an assembly line.

This doctor messed me so unbelievably bad. 6 and half years later I am still having complications. I have extreme difficulties urinating due to the fact that he burned a hole in my bladder and into my vaginal cavity. I am now prone to getting bladder infections and kidney infections which I had never had before my surgery. Amazing!! So blessed he is my doctor. He is very knowledgeable, great bedside manner and gets to the point which is refreshing.

Dr Stephen Andrews was horrible!!!!!!! There are too many great doctors, you don't want to go to this one. My mother had cancer. He did her surgery. She was never the same after. Right after her surgery I talked with Dr Stephens. He was impatient, rude and disinterested. This is not the kind of doctor you want for something like this and with this kind of news. I went with my mother to get the results of her surgery. He said she had stage 3 cancer. I asked him what does stage 3 mean? He said abruptly and rudely, "It's stage three!!!" He didn't explain anything. He said this arrogantly. His staff isn't much better. His staff called months later. Not to check in with my mother's health but to see if she got chemo and radiation. He receives money when his patients receive chemo and radiation. Not once did they ask about my mother or seem concerned or show empathy. I now wonder, if he is like this outside the operating room. What is his mental state when he is in surgery. Did he impatiently do surgery on my mother. She had a lot of pain after the surgery. Some of that is to be expected. Some may have been from his lack of caring inside the operating room. I will never know. I am sooo regretful we ever went to him. Please do your homework and go elsewhere. Just had a total hysterectomy 6 days ago dr Andrew's is the best. Highly recommend

When I went to him for him to do my complete hysterectomy I was really scared and I had open heart surgery a little over a year ago and he told me he don’t want to keep me under that long having open heart so he said he is going to do it Robotically and he explained everything how he was going to do it and so on. He made me totally relaxed. The day I had my surgery he came in and talked to me and my daughter and she told him I was nervous and he started picking on me. I would totally Recommend to everyone that has to have it done. I Appreciate everything he did for me. Best doctor ever!! I have been a patient of Dr. Andrews for several years, and found him to be very compassionate, knowledgeable, very easy to understand. He is very soft spoken and makes his patients feel reassured about their treatment. I would recommend Dr. Andrews to all my friends.. I have never had a doctor spend time explaining exactly what was going on and what to expect . I thank Dr. Andrews and his staff at the office and his team at the hospital for excellent care.

I had surgery yesterday this dr is amazing he explained everything so i understood and was very compassionate and caring i would recommend him to anyone thank you so much

Dr. Andrews saw me immediately for a potentially serious situation. He scheduled surgery just 3 days later. When I was in the hospital he was a little vague about answering questions. However, when all of the results were in he went over everything very thoroughly. He also called the day before a holiday to let me know the status. He didn’t think I would know until after the holiday. It was extra kind to call me before the holiday. We were able to relax and enjoy the holiday thanks to him. You will get great care and a lot of experience if you go with this doctor.

My daughter was referred to Dr Andrews by her OBGYN for removal of her remaining right ovary after a hysterectomy at age 25. She's now 30. He suggested removal after almost two years of chronic right side pain. I was in the exam room during her initial visit. She was afraid to have another surgery after giving up her ability to have children and being told this would "cure" her by another specialist. He told her he was fairly certain the right ovary was the cause of her chronic debilitating pain. He also said her menopause symptoms were likely to increase (mental and physical) especially joint pain which may lead to RA but that he would treat any symptoms that arose after the surgery. This was great news after not being properly treated for so long that it helped her decide to give consent for the surgery. Two weeks after her surgery, the joint pain increased to an almost intolerable level. Needless to say, her follow up was today. She wrote down everything she needed to discuss with him and told him everything. But, as is the norm when on state medical assistance, he was in the exam room with her for approximately 5-7 minutes and referred her to other doctors to treat the symptoms and side effects post surgery that HE assured her he would treat on her initial visit. I'll admit that I give him credit for finding and relieving the cause of the chronic right side pain. I understand lying or misleading a patient may not be unlawful but it is, at the very least, unethical. While he may be good surgically, his follow up leaves much to be desired. Trust in your doctor or surgeon is crucial. It's a shame once the surgery was over, he washed his hands of her. Had an appointment this morning with Dr. Andrews at 10:30, only in the waiting room a few minutes, took me back he came in after a few minutes and had exam and a very informative talk with him. Very nice Doctor with a very nice personality. He explained everything to myself and my husband. Gave us all my info and we were out in no time. Would recommend him to anyone. ???????????? I met with Dr Andrews for the 1st time today as a 2nd opinion re a hysterectomy for uterine fibroids . He was very personable, kind, and listened to my concerns without judgement . He wasn’t pushy re surgery. Truly listened to me. I felt very comfortable with him and if I decide to go through with surgery, he will be the one to perform it . I would recommend him.

Great bed side manner. Goes above and beyond to find and research any and all avenues in reguards to treatments to fit your diagnoses and everyday life, cares about you as a individual and treats you like a person, makes you feel comfortable while in the office and is very easy to talk to, ask questions and very down to earth person. Even the entire staff is amazing and always friendly in office and over the phone. Can call anytime during office hours with questions and always take the time to find an answer and get back to you. Great bed side manner. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Wouldn't take my dog to him. He was so compassionate pre op , he jumps right to hysterectomy. I was told that my pain would well controlled post op. He tells you what you want to hear, he makes his money off surgeries. After is a whole different story. Your pain will not be controlled and if you call his office to say you're in pain you will be chastised and told there is no way. He's a SOB that only cares about money and not patients. I trust him greatly for the integrity and skill with which he has treated my cervical cancer and consequent hysterectomy. I am now 5 years cancer free! Dr. Andrews has always talked with me as an intelligent adult person, giving me facts, answering my questions, and really spending the time needed to address my fears and concerns about this very scary experience. Dr. Andrews and his staff saved my life and did so with TLC. I had endometrial cancer stage 3 advanced. My treatment was a total hysterectomy by robotics, I had very little pain and no scars. I then had radiation and chemo. During all of this, Dr. Andrews and his staff were so helpful and sympathetic. God bless them all.

Horrible! He makes his money off surgery and will leave you hanging post op. If you call his office stating that you're in pain he will chastise you. RUN ...please think twice before letting this man operate on you

Dr Andrews made me feel so comfortable with the surgery that I was facing. He was very personable.

I met with Dr. Andrews and was extremely disappointed! He was not prepared for my appointment, never asked any questions and misdiagnosed my condition as ovarian cancer. Only after I told him to read my chart did he correct himself. Staff made several mistakes too--was told they have a fair amount of turnover. Please get a second opinion after seeing Dr. Andrews.

I was referred to Dr. Andrews by my gynecologist of 40 years with probable ovarian cancer. The staff was wonderful as was Dr. Andrews. Dr Andrews called to tell me that all tests were benign. It meant a lot to me that he called himself. He is kind, gentle and caring. I wish all doctors knew how much it means to have a doctor make that call personally. I was quickly at ease even though I had wanted my doctor to do the surgery. Everything from that day to the post surgery visit were explained.

My experience less than positive, called with post op concerns and he was very dismissive. Did not call with pathology results had to hear from breast surgeon. Two week post op appointment was rushed, as he was leaving I had to stop him and tell him I had some questions.

Dr. Andrews performed a total abdominal hysterectomy on me. I had no complications. Everything went very smooth. Two weeks out and I feel like I could do pretty much anything I wanted to. He is very caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
