I love Dr. Revels. She was our family doctor for 21 years. After we moved away she was irreplaceable. After 11 years we are back and are so happy to have her as our doctor again.

Have had Dr Revels for over 15 years and would highly recommend her. She is caring, precise, and knowledgeable.

Very very professional staff. Dr. Revels is an excellent physician. Great bedside manner.

My mom went to her because she was bleeding, 15 years after menopause The doctor did a gyno exam and found nothing wrong. The doctor did nothing else. In fact, my mom had a upper respiratory infection and the office didn't even call in the antibiotics. My mom tried to cal the office to no avail. It was two weeks later she got the antibiotics for the URI. My mom had Uterine cancer. She ended up dying from Stage IV uterine cancer. Nothing was done for her at this office, from this doctor.

This doctor who my husband had been seeing for years suddenly closed her practice without any warning. He is on prescriptions that he just cannot abruptly quit taking. Thank goodness for the wonderful practice that I go to. Leawood Family Care, who got him in right away when I told them about a fellow “doctor” doing this. No warning, no letter of referral. How does someone get by with this in the medical profession. She should be ashamed and reported.

The worst clinic I have ever been to. If you are a new patient avoid this place. They are not realistic on times.

STAY AWAY!!! I went to this doctor for pain in my hands. She did not do any kind of exam but rather sent me to a specialist without any kind of explanation. I was charged 210.00 for an office visit, new patient, Level 3. The doctor didn't do any exam at all!!!! Now they are sending me unpaid bill notices when my HSA has already sent them the check for a 210.00 office visit where I saw the doctor for all of 60 seconds. Something is not right here. I have been going to Dr Revels since I was 9 years old. After getting a call about needing to have my antidepressant refilled and the doctor not responding I contacted her office after receiving a call I was due for my annual physical. Upon calling I was told she was no longer seeing patients unless you were Medicare or Medicaid. When I asked for a week emergency refill via fax from the pharmacy she denied it because I was no longer her patient. Her new office was very apologetic but this is uncalled for and unprofessional. Not sure what’s going on at this practice. When I first began seeing Dr. Revels she was kind, compassionate, caring and her bed side manor was most comforting. As of late, things have certainly changed. I’ve called several times with no return call from her office. I had an appointment this week. The receptionist was overtly disrespectful. The nurse did not introduce herself and acted as if it were a bother tending to me, and my time with the Dr. was less than three minutes. I do not feel as if I was given the proper care or examination during my visit. I left basically up in the air. Furthermore, the waiting area had not been dusted properly as I could have written my name on the support bars on the chairs. Again, trying to reach this office is quite a quest. At this moment Ive just left yet another message which makes 3. Hopefully they’ll return my call tomorrow. So much for Customer Service! Not sure what’s going on at this practice. Dr Revels is great but the office staff is unprofessional and not very pleasant at all..

I'm 41. Been in & out of doctor offices all my life for many unfortunate illnesses and such. I have never been with a doctor I liked, felt that they understood me, did not judge me based on appearance or my illnesses... UNTIL NOW. Dr. Revels and her team are the best I've ever experienced! Friendly, kind, and fitting with my beliefs (no judgements). I've been diagnosed bipolar for a very long time, you see, and with this comes eating issues (along with a lot of other things). I don't work outside the home (am an artist), and I'm not one for conformity! I was morbidly obese with a shaved head and I had been around too many doctors that believed: 1) my weight HAD to mean my heart was bad 2) my shaved head was "self mutilation" 3) my being bipolar means I'm a hypochondriac & not to be believed when I speak 4) I will someday "want" children, even when I politely inform people I do not (really? At 40+ I don't know my own mind by now?!) I was tired of being victimized when I went to a place of healing, and after so long I'm finally getting the caring treatment I deserve. I love this team! The reviews are correct in that she spends very little time with patients, 5 minutes tops. But the worse is her receptionist Kenya, who is rude and nasty. Why anyone would think she would make a good receptionist is beyond my comprehension. Will be looking for a better doctor. Dr. Revels seems to not care if her diagnosis' are correct. Suffered pain in my hip for two weeks before I finally was seen by someone more competent and compassionate.

. Left her practice mainly do to her poor communication and the high turn over in staffing... Office staff is rude and acts as gatekeepers. Long wait time to get in but the office is never crowded: You are usually by yourself waiting. Passes out referrals like gum drops but doesn’t read your report. Tells you treatment plan, nurse walks in an Dr. Had forgotten to give all info with nurse. Forgets drug allergies. Refills take long time to be faxed back to pharmacy.NO hospital affiliation! Run!

Dr. Revels demands patients respect her time but does not respect theirs in return. When I wanted t speak with her about this in a calm professional manner, she refused to have a professional conversation with me. If you do not want to have your time wasted, see another doctor!

As others have said, the office is lacking in professionalism. Their operating hours are also sort of odd. As a new patient, I felt like I was applying for dual citizenship in a foreign country on my first visit. I came prepared with my application and it didn't seem to carry any weight with reception. I was greeted with a request for a urine sample without any explanation. I've had more pleasant personal interactions at the DMV - not kidding. I'm leaving this clinic! EVERYTIME for the past 3 times the staff has never been able to pull up my records. The office sent me an automated text message reminding me to come in for a checkup because they haven't seen me for a 1 year when I came into the clinic 3 times this year!! Revels is a sweetheart but I never leave feeling 100% assured that my she took care of my need.

I never leave reviews but I have been very disappointed with the care. Long waits, I felt rushed and I didn't feel like my needs were addressed. When I had questions I had to have the nurse call the doctor back in. Dr Revels gave me a diagnosis to which I had only one of about 10 symptoms and when I called back to question after I researched the condition, I was told to come in she doesn't make calls. Another copay really? No calls? Will never go back!!!!

This office knowingly billed me for services after my insurance already paid for it. They have not been very helpful in trying to get me reimbursed and I am not going to go back to this doctor.

Dr. Revels is okay but her staff is lacking. I found her practice to be very disrespectful in regards to my personal time as they do not conduct themselves as professionals. There are two separate incidents that support this position. Around a year ago I had scheduled a wellness check in advance. When I arrived, no one was present. I then found out that everyone should have been contacted to reschedule because of a vacation that week. I went today for a flight physical (having taken time off from work and driving an hour to get there), and was informed that I should have been told to complete an online form and I would need to reschedule. The next available date was a month later. As a pilot, this is not acceptable. I would find out later that I was able to complete this form in under five minutes on my phone in order to obtain the needed confirmation number. There are other AME / FAA flight medical examination options in the area that are better suited to the task at hand. If I could indicate zero stars, that would probably be more accurate. I wish there was a half star so I could give her 4.5. I rarely give anyone a 5. So, her experience in the military and overall handling of me has been positive. Dr. Revels literally saved my life. I had went in w/an enlarged goiter in my neck and while everyone else was hesitant to push for my testing asap she did and I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer in the very early stages! She is so pleasant, sweet, and thorough and believes in actually helping you to have healthier life!

Dr. Revels is very caring and compassionate. I am new to the area and I am so happy to have found a doctor like her here. She sat down and listened to my issues and accurately diagnosed my problem at each visit. She is very professional. Her office staff are very responsive to calls and requests. Thanks!

Dr Revels is a wonderful doctor but her staff is rude and disorganized and they just suck at their job. I took an entire day off work for an appointment here only to get there and find out they couldn't do it because someone had to go to a funeral. They should have called and told me before hand. They also billed me for services after already billing my insurance(fraud in my opinion), they made getting reimbursed a huge headache for something that wasn't my fault. I felt very taken advantage of.

After three years with Dr. Revels, I changed doctors because there is no follow up and the office staff/insurance payments/bookeeping is TERRIBLE. Office visit charge was sent to collections (for $25) although I have no copay on my insurance. Called more than six times for a sleep machine that was recommended and nobody would get back with me, so I just found a new doctor. Just a disorganized mess. Find another care provider. I wish I had.

I have trying to convince my elderly mother to get a primary physician for several years. In the past, she had not had great experiences as other physicians have been too cold and clinical. Dr. Revels is everything you hope for in a physician: kind, compassionate, experienced and funny to boot. I was so impressed by her bedside manner, diagnosis and treatment of my mother's issues.
