Neurophychology. It is a complicated word and a hard term. II know Dr. Stephanie Moore works in other areas, but this is the rare specialty in which I know her. It also helped as a part of a team to save my life. What do you do when you are sick, falling apart, and nobody knows if you are going crazy, just fine, your stomach is melting, or your brain is turning into green jello? What is an emotional problem, part of a regular life's baggage, and what means that the nerves connecting your hand to your head aren't working right, and what if you are upset you are sick? But your are not sick because you were upset? Along with her expertise and experience in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I am now disabled, but in the beginning, I needed help. Diagnostic help. For me. To figure out what was going wrong with my brain and my body and my mind. Dr. Moore was invaluable in compassionately dealing with my rather strange neurological symptoms at the time, my disabilities that were progressing, and taking an objective view not on what I did or didn't want to hear, but what was going on and ways I could move forward to find more answers and more help.
