Dr Gilleran helped my mother immensely. She was knowledgeable, kind, patient and extremely helpful

Dr. Gilleran is one of the finest doctors I have known. During my mother's final days, I had to decide whether or not to trach her. Dr. Gilleran walked me through step by step and when I made my decision I knew it was right. That was the greatest comfort to my family and me. Later, my husband was in a quagmire between two hospitals. Dr. Gilleran was not his primary doctor nor was she his liver specialist in NYC, and yet she fought vigorously to have him moved to Weil Cornell--the hospital that was supposed to save him. Late at night I saw her on the phone advocating for him until they agreed to come. They didn't. She was back at it again--not her job. The liver doctor said they couldn't take him with pneumonia. She was emphatic that he had asthmatic bronchitis, not pneumonia. Again, Weil Cornell and Dr. Sonja Olsen dropped the ball. Dr. G's expertise was spot on. AND her heart and kindness saved us at a time when no one would listen. She's the best.

Provided excellent care & treatment. She and her staff are extremely helpful in dealing with all the physical and emotional needs.

Unable to get a timely appointment as an existing patient, this practice wants you to wait 3 months for an appointment when you’re sick and need treatment today? Even waiting a few days is understandable, not 3 months. What’s the point?
