Always way over booked, Staff works past office hrs just to see remaining patients at the end of the day, they are always hours "behind". One of the nurses even said to us that Dr. Stan is only in it for $$$. I'm switching my grandmas doctor immediately. She has prior health issues and is on oxygen she shouldn't be expected to wait 3 hrs just to see her dr especially when it's for a prescription refill. Very disappointing since both of my grandparents have been coming here for years.

I feel absolutely blessed to have found and be under Dr. Stanley Scheidlers care. I’ve been going to his office for almost 2 years now. The doctors I’ve seen before have collectively been impersonal, extremely fast (not thorough), arrogant and suffering from mild to severe God complexes. I’ve searched long and hard for a doctor who listens and understands me. He takes time with me, sets goals for my health and has the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. It’s important to me that I feel heard, that a solution to my ailment is found and sometimes the best medicine doesn’t come in the form of a pill. Dr. Stan explores with me what I can do for myself health-wise, (exercise, habits, food, mental health) and explains different options or routes. Next to myself he is my #1 health advocate. I’m not just a number to him. I have waited a few times in his office to be seen but I feel it’s absolutely worth it. It’s my life we’re talking about after all, please. I actually check in inside and then go back out to my truck to wait for them to call my cell. The nursing staff is kind and efficient. When the Dr. comes in he is thorough and I want him to be, not just with me but all his patients. He is old school doctor & in a world that is so fast paced finding a doctor like him is next to nil.

The place is packed! Ridiculous they overbook themselves and have everyone waiting so long!

I can't say enough about Dr. Scheidler and Scheidler Medical Preferred. I know that if something is wrong, Dr. Scheidler will provide quality care to find out what it is and discuss with me, his plan of action and then explain what benefits I can expect to experience in improved health and general wellbeing! Excellent choice...glad I chose him.

I feel very confident in Dr. Scheidler's care because of the results I receive each time that I have needed medical attention. I have zero interest in obtaining any other Physician besides him.

Maybe he prioritized seeing his new patients on "on time" but it got to the point we would come for a "first thing in the morning" appointment and leave around time for dinner. Repeatedly. We switched providers after that. Then, after we changed providers, for 6 months they tried to charge me a copay that I had proof I already paid and made me come in 3 times over the course of that 6 months to show them the receipt (twice) and the signature from their own staff confirming that they did charge the copay but forgot to remove it from his account. We were so impressed with him and his staff.

I’ve been going to Dr. Schiedler for quiet a few years. Although sometimes the wait times are a little longer than I’d like, I never feel rushed when it comes time to my appointment. The front desk is always more than willing to help and are always extremely friendly. Thanks for all you do!

Dr. Scheidler is very caring and knowledgeable! I will always go to his practice due to his outstanding service and understanding! Highly recommended! I never write reviews but I feel like more people need to find out how great his practice is :)

Dr Scheidlers been my family doctor for YEARS. I trust him with my life and my sons as well. I feel as comfortable talking to him as if he were a family member. His father was my grandmas doctor and was also an AMAZING physician. I definitely recommend Dr. Scheidler to patients in all walks of life ????

When requested to specifically see him I never did. He dismissed me while I was in crisis.

I would give them -10 if I could they dont care about patients at all. They are overbooked. They are only in it for the money and thats it. They are rude and inconsiderate. You wait 3 hours to see one of their doctors when you have been told tou will see the Doctor you asked to see. And if you miss an appointment they charge you $50 not the insurance like the people have tons of money to just throw around. My wife has Lupas and the nurse practitioner prescribed the wrong meds and she gained 120 pounds in 6 months bc of his dumb as s. This place is criminal and should be shut down. if this is the practice located on NW Washington Blvd (the bills they are sending me say "Stanley Scheidler"), then they have an illegal scheduling scam going at this office that I'm reporting to the BBB. they will automatically schedule you for follow up appointments (even if you expressly tell them point blank at the conclusion of your current appointment that you do not want to make a follow up appointment) then try to charge you a $50.00 "No Show" fee because you didn't come to the appointment that you did not make, and that you weren't even aware of in the first place. the rain forest is burning, yet these scammers send me a $50.00 paper bill in the mail about twice a month because I did not come to the appointment that I did not make, and was not aware of. when I called, they tried to tell me that when I was last there over a year ago, I scheduled an appointment for 6 months in advance (something I never do), and that I scheduled it for a day and time where I was out of the country - I knew I was studying abroad at that time, so there's no way I would schedule a follow up for that day and time. My husband and I just recently began coming to Dr. Scheidler and we were both very happy. I also think he is awesome for having the vivitrol shot available for those that need it.

My Mother, Catherine Wolke, is a patient of Dr. Scheidler, and has been his patient for many years. She is soon 98 years old and the entire family feels blessed that he is patient and kind to her. Dr. Stan is one of the most compassionate, selfless, and professional people you will ever meet. I too have had to wait for some time before being called back. But there is a good reason his waiting room is full, and that has everything to do with his quality of care, his willingness to engage with his patients because he listens, and he is well rounded so the level of care you can receive at his practices without having to be referred elsewhere for every single thing is beyond what you might find in most practices. He is a very good Dr. Patient and has a great bedside manner

My son started seeing Dr. Scheidler and I spoke with him about my sons addiction to drugs. Dr. Scheidler then prescribed my son Ativan and he then took the entire prescription in one night. He complete forgot three days of his life and thought that someone kidnapped his daughter and then drove his car head into a parked car. My son has since gone back to Dr. Scheidler and was prescribed Ativan again. I pray things work out differently this time.

I have been Dr. Stan for a year and a half. He's a good doc but he has no coverage for his "family emergencies." When I do have an appointment it is an all day event. So I spend my day off in a waiting room. I am soooo tired of this. It's irresponsible to not have coverage. If you have 4-6 hrs to wait for a sore throat or migraine than he’s the man for you. I started noticing the staff was different everytime I went in there were new employees. One nurses aide told me he can’t keep good employees because all he does is scream and belittle them in front of patients. I used to think he was worth the wait but buyer beware. Very friendly personable doctors and nice staff. However waiting in the lobby time is usually 2 hours and then atleast an hour waiting in the room.I personally think the wait is worth it because the doctors really seem to care. On some days though the wait is very frustrating. I would recommend this facility to anyone that has patience.

I love coming here, they have a great staff and they genuinely care about their patients. The biggest setback is their wait times. As a patient, I have spent numerous appointments sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours. Whether I was the first or after the lunch hour, patients have to wait a long time.

Dr Stan has been my PCP for almost fifteen years. He is genuine and caring in a way that is unheard of in his feild. His practice has grown exponentially, and he is only one man. Your wait time is nothing when he comes in and tunes into you, your symptoms, your life. He very generously removed a foolish youthful indiscretion of a tattoo on my neck in the Beau Santi spa downstairs, completely free. He’s very smart, proactive, kind and takes time to listen. Very thorough. Today I went for my appt and was very sick with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, but my appt was not for this. Entering the office I asked if I could sit in a room with a trash can until it was my turn, but instead he hurriedly seen me, gave me a shot for the nausea and vomiting and addressed the issue I was there for, he had me in and out in no time. Dr. Stan is amazing! He cares about and takes time with each patient. This sometime cause long wait times which lots of people complain about but i would rather wait a while to see a fantastic doctor than to get thru super quick and see a s****y doctor. Extremely long wait times, they are difficult to get your prescription refill, expect to spend 3 hours waiting to be seen. They are not timely when getting pre-authorization done for insurance. I am very happy with Dr. Stan he is very passionate and cares for his patients but his receptionist is absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Dr. Scheidler took excellent care of my client (Barb Adams) which resulted in my own personal choice to choose him as my regular physician. The facility staff are very respectful. Dr. Scheidler is the Best!

Dr. Scheidler is the best doctor ive ever been to...he is a very smart physician but he is also a very down to earth, nice person. Yeah..sometimes the wait is longer than most(not always)but thats because he actually cares enough to sit down and actually listens to me. Every other Doctor is impersonal and in a big hurry to get you out..like you're nothing more than a full room that needs emptied for the next person. Before i found Dr. Scheidler..these experiences had given me a phobia of even going to a doctor because they made me feel anxious so my ADHD would make me get super nervous and tongue tied-i always left in tears with no solution to my problems. Myself and my family have been patients here for years, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Dr.Scheidler is great but you will sit in his waiting room for a minimum of an hour. ALWAYS. The waiting room has a strong stale cigarette odor and the patients you sit with are young drug addicts. It’s disgusting and I feel like I’m in a free clinic.

i have been seeing Dr Stan Scheidler for over 10 years now. I drive about 45 minutes to get to his location and it is worth every minute, every time. I have had about every injury possible from being in combative sports and a Police officer in a major city. Every time I visit Dr Stan for an injury or issue, I have the highest level of confidence that he is going to find the problem and address it the best way possible, just like he always has.

Dr. Stan is a wonderful doctor, very caring and very good. While sometimes the wait may be a little long, I feel he is worth it, as he spends time listening to me and doesn't act rushed to get out of the room. He truly cares about me. His office is so busy because he is such a good doctor. I would recommend him to anyone needing a family physician!

Wait time is horrible, an hour after my appointment and still not called back!!

New patient and had an appointment at 10:15 and finally walked out after I haven't been seen and it was 12:38. That is so ridiculous to wait that long for a Dr.

I have been seeing Dr. Scheidler for over 7 years. He’s very knowledgeable, is up to date on the latest therapies, he takes his time with you, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. I see people leaving comments about having to wait, that hasn’t ever been my experience, but even if it was he’d be worth the wait. Sometimes the good doctors run late because they care more about their patients health then running them in and out staying on time. Dr. Scheidler also has two new Nurse Parctitioners who are very nice and knowledable as well. Since they have started I hardly ever see anyone in the waiting room! The wait time to see Dr. Scheidler is ridiculous. Two to four hours in a waiting room. When I finally made it to a room, I could hear him yelling and cursing at staff right outside my door. The staff were doing the best they could and were very busy. I was told he would be in to see me next but he did not come in for another 45 minutes. After hearing the way he spoke to staff, I will not be going back there.

Had an appointment at a specific time and it was to be my first appointment and I literally was there for over 2 hours and still wasn't seen by the doctor, I finally left. Very dissatisfied with the lack of communication

Dr. Stan is the best Family Doctor I have ever been to. His office has more equipment than most family practices, he can do X-rays, EKG's, in house Lab! He has very good bedside manor, he is very thorough in evaluating and explains in a way that is understandable. I can not say enough good things about him... I highly recommend him to friends and family often!

dr Stanley Scheidler is a down to earth person he speaks to you not at like some drs do he takes time to explain your situation and what is needed to be done was instrumental in detecting kidney cancer early on and that was 9 yeas ago and im here today to talk about it so yes I would recommend his services to anyone staff is great very helpful

Dr. Stan is Great. The best thing about seeing him is that he listens. Many Doctors rush in, ask what's wrong, and they leave after 5 minutes. He takes the time to talk through your symptoms/issues with you, even if you are there for multiple issues, and provides a thorough assessment and clear/precise instructions for your care. I also like that you can call his answering service during off-hours and HE will be the one that calls you back. You can't get better service than that.

Dr. Scheidler has been my personal doctor for the last 8 years. He’s very knowledgeable and has always had great bedside manners. You can also have your labs and X-rays done right there on site, no running around like I have had to do for other doctors in the past! You can tell that Dr. Stan really cares.

Dr. Stan is a good listener. He takes the time to listen to you. The wait times may seem long, but that is because he is taking the time to care for his patients. Now that the practice has slimmed down, my last few wait times have been quite short (10-15 minutes). I can't give the office 5 stars because of the phone receptionist. The last three times that I have called I was put on a "short" hold of 5 minutes each (yes, I timed them).

Dr.. Scheidler is very caring and compassionate. He truly cares about his patients and takes time to listen to you. He explains in detail his recommended treatment and addresses any concerns I may have. He is very knowledgeable and provides excellent care. His staff are kind and very helpful when I have a question or need something. The office has recently made some changes and I can’t say enough about how wonderful it is. I even received a text message to remind me of my appointment.

Doctor stan and his staff have always taken care of myself , my wife and our 5 kid's. He even sees some of our Employees and there FAMILY'S. Very clean new floors new paint always smells good ! Doesn't have the normal doctors office smell. That you get at other doctors office's.

I've been waiting almost 2.5 hours and still haven't seen the doctor. The nurses are having a highly inappropriate conversation outside my exam room door about shaving sexual body parts. Very disappointing.

I paid my wife's bill ($134.59) IN full on 3/31/17 using their pathetic billing service, I was PROMISED that I would get a confirmation number by return phone call! I am STILL waiting! Today is 4/10/17 and I just received ANOTHER bill for the same amount! Needless to say, we will NOT be going back to Dr. Scheidler! UPDATE! Looking back, i was scheduled in month of august fast, staff made everything real easy to understand, and Dr's/staff was friendly, and very knowledgeable. By far better than waiting till October for a free clinic appointment like everyone i know suggested!!!!!

Dr. Stan is great. Sometimes the wait times are a bit long, but he is very thorough and seems to take the time to geg to know all of his patients. Good Dr. Good staff. For the record, anytime I've needed to be in and out of there quickly, always told them that I was pressed for time and they have gotten me in and out.

Dr. Stanley Schiedler is the best doctor I have ever known. He takes time with you and actually listens. He cares, make the best decisions for your medical care. I have sent my friends and family to Dr. Stanley Schidler, they have all liked him as well. If I lived an hour or more away, I would make the drive everytime. Very worth your time and health to check him out. I KNOW how difficult it is to find a good doctor, I hope this review will lead you here, it's where you need to be.
