I scheduled an appointment for a family member and the day before was called to inform us that due to the fact that the child's parents did not speak English the appointment would be cancelled!!! I have never heard this at least not in 2019!!!! Outrageous!! They don't even deserve one star!

Office was nice and clean kid friendly waiting room, however as is obvious from the other reviews, he has a terrible personality and my personal opinion he is old school....totally didn't listen to my concerns on our child he just asked questions about his birth and the rest made his own observation. When trying to voice my concern he would cut me in and just start rambling so that I couldn't talk! Horrific experience! Never mind my feelings of not being listened to at all....driving down 40 minutes and having my husband take a day off from work was a total waste of time, money and physical/emotional energy....I wish someone would've told me before....worst thing was they refused to give me a standard report which is customarily provided elsewhere. After reading the negative reviews, I felt compelled to post a review. I am an RN and chose Dr. Rothman over countless other Pediatric Neurologists in the area. I agree that on initial contact, people may misinterpret his "bedside manner". The doctor is super focused on the child and parents are often frazzled when they need to take their child to him. He is a brilliant clinician and after nearly 20 years with him, I am unable to find an adult Neurologist that comes close to mirroring his ability! Those who complain about wait time need to grasp the fact that his is not a group practice and he always puts his patients first. He does sometimes arrive at the office late due to emergencies but he will always give your child the attention needed.

Dr. Stanley Rothman has been our daughter's neurologist since she was born. She is now 17, a member of National Honor Society & the winner of a full college scholarship for both her academic achievements & her community service work. She recently started having memory problems, headaches & insomnia, but he won't see her because she was in a car accident over a year ago. He does not want to risk any possibilty of having to give testimony in a lawsuit, EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT ASK HIM TO, so he has abandoned her as a patient. Heartless & uncaring. We took our 6-year old son today to see Dr. Rothman for migraine headaches. Dr. Rothman was excellent, he was thorough and compassionate. I would recommend him.

My experience with Dr Rotham was inexcusable and heartless. For one i get his office and no receptionist. My granddaughters records are left out for the public to see. Then Dr. Rotham calls me in his office and throws me nd 15 month out his office because my granddaughter was constipated. The crying upset him and he told me leave his office with my granddaughter. He is a heartless coward who should not be practicing medicine especially with your children involved.

Dr. Rothman does not listen. RE: progress our small child has made since our last visit, Dr. Rothman either forgot what we had just told him or never heard us at all. His assessment of our child's delays was based on absence of skills that we had just told him were consistent and present in our child. How can you trust his opinion and assessment when you can't trust that he is listening to you? His bedside manner is terrible, he is aloof, arrogant, and condescending. Find someone else.

Dr. Rothman spends alot of time reviewing the patient's medical history during appointments. He is brief in his examinations. He is also repetitive and seems to be focused on recommending unnecessary medical procedures to bill state insurance companies.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Rothman to other patients. He is extremely knowledgeable , caring and proactive. Unlike many other medical professionals today, Dr. Rothman spends quality time with each patient and leaves no stone unturned. My daughter has been a patient of Dr Rothmans for 12 years. This man knows his stuff!!! We have complete faith and confidence in him. Unlike many other medical professionals, Dr Rothman is accessible and you can get in to see him when necessary. THE BEST!!!!!!

The Doctor purposefully makes you wait in the exam room while he talks on his phone and to this receptionist.

Absolutely horrible. Ask any questions and he is rude and condescending. Thinks only of taking your money and shoving pills down your throat rather than helping you!!! No compassion what so ever! A disgusting person!
