Dr Kim diagnosed my wife with moya moya. Performed an arterial bypass one month ago. All I can say is this man is golden, he even led us in prayer before the surgery. Wife is doing wonderful now. God bless you Dr. Kim.

Dr. Kim saved my life in 2011. He is the kindest, and by far best neurosurgeon in Texas.

I wish I could give Dr. Kim and his staff 10 *'s! Dr. Kim performed an Anterior Cervical Fusion on me. He made sure to come in before the surgery to make sure myself, and my girlfriend were informed on the procedure. He said a prayer with me before the surgery as well, which brought me comfort. It is very evident that Dr. Kim cares about his patients and sees people, not dollar signs. That is a very welcome experience to have. His staff is just as caring. Dr. Kim is an amazing doctor, he did a brain surgery to my husband, and it was very successful, I am his patient now, he is very smart and caring, I highly recommend him, he is a great doctor

Dr. Kim is an outstanding surgeon. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and confident. He installed my vp shunt last month and I am living a significantly better life because of him and his team. The office staff is incredible, very prompt and courteous. I am very thankful for Dr. Kim!

Dr. Kim has performed two surgeries for me in the past six months, he is the most knowledgeable, amazing physician I have ever met. I have full use of my hand now due to him. He is also a kind man who said a prayer for me before the surgery, I have never experienced that before. I’m so thankful for him and urge you to call his office if you need a neurosurgeon. His office staff are friendly and Misty his manager keeps you informed and is very nice. Five stars is not enough

Dr Kim was able to completely remove chronic back pain for me with a long fusion. He is so kind and compassionate. I trust him completely.

I suffered from chronic lower left back pain (sciatica) for over 10 yrs. Dr Kim put in the Boston Scientific nerve stimulator. I'm still in a lot of pain. My pain specialist dr. said the leads are too high and I need more surgery. I called Dr Kim's office today and was told I can talk to him on the phone in 3 months. I've had 3 back surgeries & a hip replacement for the same pain. Please pray for me. ??

I worked with Dr. Kim previously at St. David's South and he is an amazing Physician as well as treats nurses like gold!

Dr Kim saved me and my unborn child's life. I went to the ER 5 months pregnant due to a brain aneurysm and stroke. He did emergency brain surgery and even though survival rate on those is near to none he was able to remove a baseball sized blood clot and repair the damage. Sunday, September 11, 2016. I had a brain aneurysm rupture. I was taken to one hospital, the found the aneurysm and took me to St. David's downtown. I was out of it completely. When I woke up, I found out what had happened. Later that evening, Dr. Kim came to visit me. That is the first time I remember seeing him. He explained everything in detail. I was hospitalized for about 3 weeks. 2 in ICU and 1 in a regular room. Dr. Kim visited me every day! He did not send anyone else. He was so kind. He answered all my questions, tried to keep me out of as much pain as possible. (It is very painful headache. Worse than any migraine I've ever had). While he was caring for me, he asked if I had any problems with my left arm. I told him yes. He found some issues causing my problems, did surgery on my neck and fixed my issues!!! I highly recommend Dr. Kim, he is a very caring, kind doctor. I as so blessed he was the Dr. that did my surgery. He saved my life and I'm so thankful. My son's neurologist contacted Dr. Kim immediately after finding a large tumor on an MRI of my son's brain. We are so thankful she did. We saw Dr. Kim the next morning. Dr. Kim's explanation of what needed to be done to remove the grapefruit size tumor was clear and the risks advised, so we understood. The surgery took approximately 13hrs. Dr. Kim is the most skilled, compassionate, caring doctor that we have ever met. I would highly recommend Dr. Kim for anyone needing brain or spinal surgery

Dr. Kim performed surgery on me January 4,2004. He's the most caring,compassionate, honest and down to earth doctor I've every met. I stayed in St. David's Hospital for 21/2 months. If Dr. Ki m didn't visit me in the morning he would come by in the afternoons. I am so thankful God sent this wonderful doctor to operate on me.

My first appt I was called 1 hour before my appt and told to come at a later time, that was very inconvenient...my second appt was a week later, I get I the appt and told the doctor was not in and was in surgery and I would have to wait until he arrived....this is not going good. I hope the service improves

Very good surgeon, very poor and apathetic offfice staffing. There's more to a surgery than just the hospital portion. There is follow-up, (he operates too much to follow up. Followup appts are 3 months out, that's not good). And the medical sharing up records with patients insurance is only up to par until they have received their portion of payment. If you have supplemental insurance for disability coverage they aren't as concerned. Ignored requests for 8 weeks despite finanancial hardships.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kims since 2006 , because of his wonderful hands I am here today . Dr. Kim is still treating for various other brain ailments , he is such a wonderful person very compassionate about his patients ! My mom and I love him dearly. I recommend anyone who needs a very caring neurosurgeon come see Dr. Kim !

Dr. Kim Stanley is a highly knowledgeable and confident surgeon.Down to earth ; very respectful to patient . Brilliant knowledge of his field and more.Devoted to his profession . very honest,Very genuine . Can't appreciate him enough. Accepts challenges with open heart. My son is possibly suffering from Chiary Malformation and was referred to Dr Kim. We had an appointment at 3:15pm today. We both got there right on time. We were informed that Dr Kim is just finishing up surgery and should be here soon. We filled all the forms, the assistant took us inside the cabin, completely all the pre-checks and discussed all the details of the problem. It was 4pm and the doctor had still not arrived at the clinic. The assistant told us he has gotten out of surgery and should be arriving "any minute". Well, we waited for another 50 minutes and the doctor had still not shown up at 4:50pm. We both had to be somewhere at 6pm, so we informed the assistant that we were leaving. I do not know how good the doctor is. However, professional courtesy demands that we should have been informed before the appointment that the doctor has a surgery scheduled.
