Sits and downs and actually listens to your concerns answers any question and doubts you have . Didn’t make me feel like a bad mom.

We will miss Dr. Cohen when he retires. He has been so helpful and thoughtful with his patients.

Knowledgeable doctor. Explains everything in a way a layperson can understand. He asked the right questions to me and my son to get to the root of the issue. Great doctor.

God's blessings; caring; loving, an excellent listener..saves lives & he definitely helped save my baby's..I hope every doctor in that office follow his footsteps. Always the most caring doctor I have ever witnessed.

After several months of my baby being in severe pain due to reflux, Dr. Cohen was the one who finally properly diagnosed him, got him on the appropriate medication and diet. He has been so much happier since we finally figured out the correct treatment for his reflux. Dr. Cohen is tremendously trustworthy and credible.

Very good service, and always a great experience.

He is very sweet and amazing doctor! He takes his time with his patients and listens to my concerns. I never feel rushed or not heard when I am at an appointment. His nurses are so sweet and kind in the Lawrenceville office.

I absolutely love GI Care for kids. Since day one they have done a wonderful job with communication and getting us in for appointments. Dr. Cohen has been fabulous through the whole process with my son. He is very educated and thorough and made my son feel comfortable Even when he was facing a scary procedure for a four year Old. Dr. Cohen and his staff provide care for their patients both short and long term. I appreciate their warm professionalism, engaging both parents and patients in the care plan, and being approachable. I also appreciate the expedient completion of forms I submitted. Top notch!

Dr. Stanly Cohen saved my daughter's life thirty-two years ago. I am forever thankful. When the military doctors could not determine the root of her failure to thrive diagnosis, he did! And as another reviewer stated, he was very caring with his consultation. My child left the hospital with a instantaneous feeding line that allowed her to return home with my family after spending about a month in the hospital. About six months later, she was eating, holding down, and digesting her food, and the line was removed. He gave me my baby back! I am oh so thankful for my path crossing with his. I have IBD and doctor Cohen initially diagnosed me with it but over time I was also diagnosed with IBS and I felt like he just kept blaming every stomachache on emotion and diet. This past visit, was my breaking point because he threatened me to “eat healthy” by saying he would put me on a round of steroids or a liquid diet. I will be leaving him because I cannot trust him anymore as a doctor. I feel that if I was in a flare or something would be wrong, he would blame it on IBS or diet.

It's 930. We've been waiting in the small doctor's room since 835 and slated as the first patient appointment of the day. This is unnecessary and downright rude.

Daughter seen Dr. Cohen with nausea and severe stomach pain. He just assumed she had an eating disorder and got nasty with her. Told her flat out either you eat healthier or I'm not dealing with you. She was later diagnosed by another doctor with Gastroparesis. It was found her stomach was not allowing food to be digested and the pain and vomiting came from it backing up. For a specialist to treat a child who is eating properly like they aren't is just ridiculous. A simple emptying study would of shown him the facts. Not doing one proves he is the worse doctor ever! Dr. Cohen has been a godsend in the life of our daughter who became a patient at age 3. 18 years later, she still visits him and I can honestly say, loves him. He came highly recommended and for good reason. He is not only highly competant, but genuinely caring. Yes, sometimes there's a wait. But, when you are in the office with him, nobody else exists. While some might complain, our daughter has been very sick and likely took more time than scheduled. When it goes the other way, nobody seems to notice or credit. We've been fit in so he misses his lunch and other times, he's stayed later than he likely ever planned. Now that our daughter is an adult and will change doctors, I can honestly say that we will miss him as he's gotten us through very rough times. Always question bad reviews. If you do a google search on eating disorders and gastroparesis, you find that sometimes there's a connection. Dr. Cohen has been seeing both of my children for several years, he is thorough, deals with adolescents and teens well, and I have the utmost trust in his decisions and recommendations.

He has done a great job treating our daughter with Crohns. He always answers our questions and her treatment plan is keeping her Crohns controlled. Our daughter likes to see him because they tell each other jokes. Good bedside manner.
