Dr. Stacey Renee Smith

My son had been seeing another podiatrist and was receiving skin graphs for a diabetic ulcer on his foot for months. After insurance, I owed $4,000 and the ulcer was not getting any better. He was in pain all the time. I decided to take him to another doctor and chose doctor smith. She took one look at my son's foot and said it wasn't an ulcer at all. It was a watt. She has been treating him for just a couple of months and his foot is almost healed! In my opinion, there is no better podiatrist anywhere. She's a miracle worker.

I was referred to Dr. Smith, a podiatrist, for my broken toe. My primary physician HAD provided Dr. Smith’s office with my Medicare AND Humana info before making the referral. The receptionist informed me that they don’t accept my Humana, and that I would have to pay the $90 co-pay up front. I was shocked because my doctor DID provide my insurance coverage info. Dr. Smith, appeared at the window. I explained that I had waited (with a broken toe) for 5 weeks to see her. (The referral said “STAT”, but Dr. Smith replied that she determined that an earlier visit was not necessary, and that she didn’t like my tone and said that I should leave her office immediately, and closed the glass window separating the Waiting area from the reception desk. I said “OH DON’T BE RUDE!” Dr. Smith responded with “DON’T BE HERE!” Such sarcasm and inefficiency from a “medical professional” is DISGRACEFUL, and should only be rewarded with a review like this one.

I gave it a 1 star because my son had been going there for years, I thought we were more than just patients. He had a appointment scheduled to go, but there was changes to his insurance she never notified us that she doesn't take his insurance until the day we came in to the appointment & then she directed us to the door. we felt hurt & betrayed & If I could give no stars I would.
