He has been my Pain mgmt Dr for 12 years. I trust him and his decisions for my back. Would and will not go anywhere else. Staff he has are extremely professional. You will not regret using him.

The office was big bright and clean. The front office people were very welcoming and sincere. The wait was not too long for my appointment. Dr Vattam's assistant was very cheerful and informative. They were very courteous and great office and medical staff were very knowledgeable with all issues that I had.

I have been going here for almost 2 years. I love the staff and the doctors, they really care about their patients! I walk in and Mary knows me on sight! I have gone to other pain management clinics and they didn't even seem to care! My doctor in West Texas was all about keeping me drugged! Dr. Nocerini asked me to try spine injections, in the past the injection didn't work, but the injection that he has done WORKS! This doctor helped relieve my pain in a few short months after 30+ years of pain....he did prescribe medication to help with that, but in addition to that he found the source of the pain and used treatment to absolve the pain rather than covering it up with a lot of pills

My whole experience with Dr. Vattam and his staff has been nothing but pleasant. They’re so nice from the front desk all the way to the nurses in the back!

I have been going to North Texas Spine and Pain for about 9 months and have had a great experience, so far. I have never waited more than 15 min. before getting called in to see the Dr. The , no more than 15 min. to see the Dr. Dr. Vattam listened carefully to my back issues, then helped me set up a plan to relieve the pain. I had debilitating sciatica, but have been pain free of that since my 1st shot July 2021 (8 months). The office staff is very personable and have always been willing to schedule my appointments around my work schedule. The ONLY negative is that I have found it very difficult to get in touch with a person at their billing company. But, when I called the office about the issue they helped with my billing questions right away. I've been going to Dr Vattam for almost 9 yrs, back when he was on Lamberth. I'd never trust anyone else with my chronic pain. PERIOD I've had 2 neck and 2 back surgeries. Most of my spine is fused. I'm n pain daily but Dr Vattam's always trying new ways to help me. Either by injections, test or new stuff that comes out. Him and his staff always treated me and others with much respect. I NEVER want to lose Dr Vattam as my Dr. I trust him with my life!! He's honest and will let u know if he thinks something will work or not and if u need to try something different. Dr Vattam was personable and asked questions to understand what was going on.

Office staff are horrible, they are rude, never call you back, deny copies of paperwork you signed, etc... They also charge you not only your copay, but you'll get a separate bill in the mail because the last few pages of paperwork you have to fill out EVERY TIME you go, is a mini psych eval, which they put your answers into a computer to generate a report, and charge you for this. I attempted to reach out to them to discuss, and the billing manager, who is the rudest person I've ever dealt with on the planet, has zero of the necessary people skills required to be part of the medical field, lied and contradicted herself while I was on the phone trying to decipher why they are charging me an extra $30 on top of my already paid $50 copay I paid. Jennifer, the so called Office Manager is ether never there, or she too doesn't poses any of the necessary people skills to be in the medical field. I never get return calls. This was all after I still wanted to try to get a shot in my spine from the office rather than next door as it's $500 if I get it in a 'hospital' environment, while it's only about $120 in an 'office' environment. Jennifer was going to check on the cost of this, and I have still not heard anything about it after 2 months. I asked for copies of the paperwork I filled out at the beginning of the visit, and I was advised they will be ready for me at the end of the appt. Minus being there 30 minutes early, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes AFTER my appt time to get taken in the back. After finally being able to leave 90 minutes after I arrived, the paperwork I filled out was not copied, and would take an additional 15 minutes of me waiting to get done, as their gabfest was more important. I've been trying to get my copies for almost 3 months, to the point I filed a complaint against the practice for performing procedures without consent, improper billing practices, and for failure to supply patient records in a timely fashion. Unfortunately for the doctor (Dr. Vattan), his staff just absolutely sucks, and this is the worst ran medical office I've ever been to. Too bad as I rather liked the actual Dr., he was very kind, listened to all your questions, and took the time to explain everything. If you're looking for a superb doctor, with the worst office staff you'll ever meet, to the point where you're willing to waste time, money and effort to see, this is surely the place for you. I absolutely love my doctor and would recommend him to anyone that is in chronic pain.

The office staff was incredibly rude throughout the entire process. They demanded very strictly that I be there at least an hour early, just so that the doctor could be an hour late. I have a medical condition preventing me from wearing a mask, we all know they dont do anything anyways, I had to fill out paperwork and wait outside. Once Dr Vattam finally saw fit to see me an hour past my appointment time, he spent all of 5 minutes looking through my paperwork, asking questions and learning my issues before he told me the only thing he could do is sell me on a $10,000 procedure that my insurance (Veterans Affairs in my case) did not cover and wanted me to think about it. I told him there wasn't anything to think about, I could never be able to afford that, I am on disability. He then said he could come down to $5k-$6k and no worries, just think about it. I further explained that simply was not in the realm of possibilities, I don't have that kind of money to spend on a procedure that the VA wont pay for. He then went on to explain that he could not increase my ineffective medication because some other doctor that I never heard of got 60 years in prison for increasing a patients medication legally and within all medical guidelines. First, I call BS on that story, he made it so obvious that he is trying to force me to out of pocket the expenses for this stem cell procedure that was apparently brand new. He then said that for me he could come down to $1000, I felt like I was in Afghanistan all over again trying to haggle price on some pirated DVDs at the Haji Shop. When I again explained that I am on disability and don't have $1,000 to spend on a procedure that isn't covered by the VA he grew increasingly impatient and demanded that I go see another doctor and to stop wasting his time before storming out of the room. I was polite and kind during the entire interaction and recorded the entire conversation on my phone, I will be publishing it everywhere! This entire practice is just farming insurance payments plus whatever they can haggle off of you, stay away!

The staff has been VERY GOOD to me as my transfer of records was an excessive amount of work. They stayed in touch with me, returned my calls, personally Mary is my favorite. Dr Vattan addressed every issue above and beyond my primary cervical spine problem on my very first visit, he's easy to speak to and got things moving immediately. This office is clean, the staff and Dr are considerate. I think people don't realize they're dealing with patients in miserable pain all day long and some patients seem ungrateful and difficult to please. Showing appreciation for people in this field goes a long way, as with most things. I feel VERY FORTUNATE MY CARE IS IN THEIR HANDS, I MEAN IT! These people don’t listen to their would be customers needs. I called wanting a second opinion for a surgery I was told I needed and never got the opportunity to explain why I wanted an appointment before I hung up out of frustration.

Very good doctor

My visit was very good. I was set up for back injections from bulging discs due to many years lifting heavy items. I was given four injections in the lower back. I can say, without reservation that Dr. Vattam did an excellent job because after 3 weeks I am still pain free. That says it all.

i have been seeing Dr Vattam for several years. he is very professional and always takes time to answer any questions I have He explains problems and what cause the problem I have told many people about my satisfaction with him.

Love Dr. Vattam he is very caring and a good listener as well as be able to determine what the problem is right away. I used him 10 years ago fixed me right up. When I had a problem again I knew he was who could help me again, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Vattam professionalism and background experience is top notch from the best institutions. I feel very blessed to have found him to take care of my needs. I have had several different Doctors in the past, Dr. Vattam far exceeds the care I have received from him compared to others. His staff all are very friendly, I felt like I was part of the family. I have been treated with injections and received physical therapy. Everyone there has been excellent. I can't say enough of how superb my treatment has been. I definitely recommend him to take care of your needs.

Started over a year ago with neck and left shoulder elbow issues. Received (2) shots for my neck area. All is well for my neck and currently working on pain mgt for the elbow and shoulder. Dr Nocerini is willing to work with you and he has been amazing.

The front desk ladies were very kind and professional. I saw Dr. Nocerini, was not very nice. Very bad bed side manner. I've had fibromyalgia and back pain most of my life. Said all he could do was injections. The rooms had no AC, not to mention the place was filthy. Bad experience, will not go back. !!!!

Like many clinics that serve a wide area, this one can be super busy, so plan extra time. But if you come prepared, with info doctors need to help you, they absolutely will. And front office staff is extremely caring for the level of stress they handle. Dr. Vattam is the only dr that has offered my husband any alternative other than medication. He just had the superion back placement so he can be productive again. Not have to depend on medication . Dr. Vattam is an exceptional physician who cares deeply for his patients and his staff too.

Dr. Vattam has given me back a quality of life that I have not had in 5 years! His entire staff is genuinely caring. With 2 simple procedures my pain level went from a 9 to a 3. I would recommend him to anyone with chronic pain.

I saw him for two years. I could walk 2 years ago. Now I’m in a wheelchair. I’m seeing a neurosurgeon in Plano now who said Vattam really messed up my back. Stay far away from this doctor. Just does procedures for the money.

I would never use him again for my back/hip problem. He never gave a good explanation of what he was doing, luckily the nurses gave more information on the procedures. I was never told of the drawbacks to steroid injections the my next pain dr. explained. He NEVER listened to what I told him during my 4 or 5 visits. Hes not all that kind with women. His billing staff is unorganized. The office staff. Can be rude to pt. And if he leaves on vacation they do not notify pt so offten times they run out of pain meds.

Dr. Vattam has a horrible attitude! He talks down to you for having certain types of insurances, and he nor any staff ever spends sufficient time with you. Then, your insurance is charged more than 10 times a car payment .

Apparently this office feels your time is not nearly as important as theirs. Stop being so money hungry and overbooking. If I am late to MY appointments then I have to reschedule so I expect to the same courtesy. Being that you treat people in pain you should know it is very hard to sit for even short periods of time, but I would say that you don't care as long as you keep that money rolling in. Dr. Vattam could care less if you're in pain he just tells you how to deal with it, he takes weeks to tell you one thing he could have told you when you met with him the first time. He did not help at all, he messed up the test he did, didn't give pain meds like he said he would, and wasn't even in the room when got woke up from the test after they put you out for the testing. I saw Vattam for nearly a year, never failed a drug screen, always had my required meds in my system. Then July he said a test I took in April showed diazepam in my system which he knew I got from my primary and that I didn't have the required meds in my system but had he stopped to listen to me it was due to me getting a new job and was scared to take them So now I'm dismissed and it will be 24 days past the time I'm supposed to get my medicine before I see a new doctor. He was a good doctor and I trusted him with my health but when this happened it made me guess my decisions. I would give no stars if i could. This man should not be a doctor, he has no empathy. He is lacking in communication and won't listen to a word you say. He has anger issues that could in my opinion be detrimental to his patients. He doesn't care about his patients well being; he is just out for the money.

This doctor is uneducated (said Botox wasn't used for migraine prevention), uncaring (gave a weak medication for severe pain and suggested yoga to someone who has back issues), and is reckless (said I could not visit ER for any pain, even migraines, and I have elevated platelets that could cause deadly) clots. Do yourself a favor and steer clear!

Bed side manner is lacking. After failed injections, he gave up on me as a patient. Literally said there was nothing he could do. It's not like I'm missing a limb or had severely broken bones! He just gave up!! Avoid him if your pain isn't going to be an easy fix. I'm pretty sure this office is purely for injections only. During appointments he barely speaks to you. When he's prescribing procedures or a meds, he doesn't tall you until he's about to walk about the door and won't go into detail.

Dr. Vattam has no equal in the pain mngmt.department in this area, or south of here,ie Plano or elsewhere,I had a 3 level fusion years ago, and it went bad fairly quickly,he has given me back most of the movement in my neck.and i can sleep because my neck would really hurt at night,my second epidural,really told me i had the right Doctor.

Like the Dr fine, they over book or something. My appointment was at 2:15, finally got called at 4:25. 30 minutes later finally, procedure.

Huge language barrier. No one else knows what the other is doing as far as scheduling or anything else. When I suggested to them to get my pain Dr. records for the last 11 yrs (from 1 Dr.), they just act like they don't hear me. My first appt, I waited over an hour. They cancelled a pain block, because they (Dr. office ), didn't have authorization (workman's comp ), when it wasn't that at all, it was them not communicating with the scheduling about the type of injection. Horrible office. Melissa at the front desk, is nice though, but the Dr. and other staff, not so much. Took my mom to see them they were very polite I've been having a problem getting my mom into places because of her Humana they worked around all this and was able to help my mom and have my mom not be in pain anymore I'm very grateful for this place in for the receptionist Melissa she was outstanding this place is truly God sent
