Stay away from this Doctor and staff!!!. Very rude and unprofessional. My husband needed eye drops after his visit that required a prior authorization from our insurance. very simple task, however because they didn’t want to complete it. The Doctor decided it was a good idea to call my husband and drop him as a patient. As if there the only eye doctors in town. Furthermore, who would want to be serviced by a doctor who lacks compassion and professionalism anyways!! Do better this is 2022 you should know how to handle simple task like prior authorization forms. And if you don’t there are plenty of well qualify employees you can hire that can. Ridiculous. Stay away from this Doctor and staff!!!. Very rude and unprofessional. Have had very positive experiences with Dr. Kinnas and all the staff ever since I was given his name as a recommendation to help with my glaucoma risk. If you are looking for a smaller practice and the same doctor to treat each visit, recommend making an appointment!

Dr. Spero, He was very professional explained my problem in detail ,very down to earth did not rush me.Answered all my questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Spero Kinnais for since 2016; he was recommended very highly to me by my optometrist. He has been instrumental in my ability to navigate/make health care decisions related to the eye and for that I am grateful. What I did not care for is how he has responded to requests made by the insurance company for additional information needed for preapproval of medications and for laser treatment surgery to facilitate the payment of benefits. He felt that it was a waste of his time to contact insurance companies, etc. As a patient, I understand his commitment to treating his patients, but isn’t that why he has office staff? He has repeatedly called me and yelled at me, hanging up on me several times, deflecting blame onto me, expressing the incompetence of the insurance companies, pharmacies, and my primary physician/office as if it were something that was within my control. He commented that he would send me a certified letter expressing that he would continue

Disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. I walked out after just a few minutes with this egotistical man! How is he still in business??!!

Dr. Kinnas and his staff have taken great care of me over the many years I have been a patient. I trust him and truly appreciate his knowledge, kindness and professionalism.

Dr. Kinnas takes good care of our whole family. We have had nothing but pleasant visits for many years. His dedication to his patients is beyond compare. One time he met my wife and I at the ER during a late weekend hour to care for her. How many doctors would do this? Love the man.

Thank you so much for your help with my insurance. Without your help I would not have been able to figure it out on my own. You guys are great. Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional.

My aunt started complaining of blurry vision. She made an appointment and went to see Dr. Kinnas. He was very thorough in his examination and explained every detail to us about her macular degeneration. He then proceeded to answer all her questions before even starting the recommended injection treatments. The treatments have helped a lot and my aunt is very happy to be able to see again.

I would definitely recommend Dr, Kinnas to anyone I know. I have been going to him for years now and would not go anywhere else. He is thorough, patient, attentive and very knowledgeable. He always makes sure he is up to date on any issues I may have or had in the past. I have never had a problem trying to get in to see him. His staff always goes above and beyond to meet my scheduling needs and they are so nice. BTW the office has a new look and it looks great. Nothing bad to say here.
