Excellent bedside manner. Very punctual appointment.

I loved the Dr. And the staff was very attentive and helpful. Only thing I didn’t like was how one of the assistants tried tricking me on using the Optus machine. They play it off as it’s not a big deal and it’s the best method to truly check your eyes however, if there is a charge you should be fully transparent. Transparency needs to be worked on.

I had a previous bad experience at this location but the staff and Dr. Vidulich went out of their way to ensure they made it up to me. Above and beyond service!

Very professional staff and doctors.

Absolutely amazing, I mean I was able to come in get my eye exam, prescription, and brand new glasses all in the same day in under an hour what more can I ask for!!!

Great experience! Would strongly recommend this facility overall. However the doctor was efficient and explained everything.

The staff is friendly and professional! I had to wait for less than five minutes, both for the initial work-up/tests as well as for Dr. V.! Our conversation is always pleasant and personal.

I became a patient of Pearl Vision Riverpointe last year, and I was very impressed with Dr. Gutierrez and staff at that time. I returned yesterday for this year's annual exam, again with Dr. Gutierrez. Still a 5-star experience! Dr. Gutierrez is thorough and very professional, not rushed. She answered all my questions and concerns. I have 100% confidence in her. I must mention their staff member: Marianna. She administered several diagnostic tests on high-tech equipment that I have never seen before anywhere. (No more dilating eye drops!) Her information and directions in implementing the tests were clear and comforting. At the end of my appointment, she helped me select the frames and lenses that properly address my vision issues. The frames are perfect for my needs, and very cute too! Marianna clearly had very good job training and it's obvious she loves her job. Way to go, Pearle Vision Riverpointe! I'll be back, and I'll bring my family.

Dr. Vidulich was very good at answering questions and explaining options. The store area staff was polite and helpful. Cost/options were explained clearly. Wait time was reasonable too.

My husband and I had to wait almost an hour after our appointment time to see the dr for our exam. We weren't able to try on any frames in the meantime, so it was wasted time. We weren't given any direction on which frames were covered by our insurance and which ones would be an additional charge so after we selected frames and we were rung up were caught off guard. We couldn't select new frames since we had already been there 2+ hours and had to pick up from daycare before it closed. Once our glasses were ready, BOTH of our glasses were made incorrectly. So we had to schedule RX recheck appointments which took almost 1.5 hours. One of our RX was wrong and the other had a lens issue, so everything needs to be remade.

From the moment we stepped through the entrance , every single staff member was incredibly nice and so helpful. Every step of the process was explained to me, directions for ever step of the evaluation was discussed with me so I understood clearly what to do and what was expected. My optometrist Dr. Contreras was so patient, clear with his recommendations and reasoning and helped me understand my eye health better than I have ever had before. He was very thorough with his evaluation and I value his recommendations highly. I had a wonderful experience afterwards picking my eye glasses and appreciate the advice and recommendation the staff member checking me out had. I appreciated her input and guidance. Brought my better half in today for new glasses after wearing the same prescription for 10 years. Doctor Vidulich was so pleasant and explained every step. Areli and Gloria were so helpful in picking out frames that were comfortable and stylish. He left feeling completely satisfied with the service and care he was given.

I've been going here for over 20 years, it's always great. This was one of my best visits there ever! I switched doctors last minute so that I could come in earlier. My daughter came for eye exam. She was given rx for glasses and contacts. I was very disappointed they couldn’t fit her for contacts today. I saw one patient waiting. I was told they were short staffed but I saw at least 4 employees there. I have to come back on Thursday for contact lens fitting.

After receiving a comprehensive eye exam in 2020, I was given a prescription . I then ordered my glasses from your company. I insisted that the lenses be checked to make sure the lenses were my prescription as diagnosed by your optometrist. You staff and manager assured me that the lenses were as prescribed. I wore the glasses until my yearly examination yesterday. Yesterday for the first time, I was informed by the optometrist from your company, that the lenses WERE NOT THE ONES HE HAD PRESCRIBED!!! This is malpractice and I will be filing a formal complaint against you with the Illinois Department of Regulation that regulates optometrist and dispensers of lenses. I had an appointment. I was seen on time. The exams were professional. My results were discussed and I was able to ask questions and did not feel rushed.

Dr Vidulich is the best there is. In the years I've been seeing him, he's found that I had type 2 diabetes before my internist, found that I had an issue with my Retina, which could have made me blind and now, even after seeing retina specialists several times a year, (as recently as 2 weeks ago) that I may have the beginnings of glaucoma. This is my second time seeing Dr. Hashisaka and I’m pretty adamant that I don’t want to ever again. Her line of questions and manner towards me were so demeaning that I felt like I shouldn’t speak until spoken to. Not a good fit.

We were welcomed with attitude when asked for an explanation of our bill. I didn’t think this is an uncommon request. The employee gave us attitude with her very limited knowledge of what she was charging me for. Her lack of customer support and knowledge of the craft left me to believe that she is capable of making mistakes. Pearl Vision on Fullerton is an “in network affiliate” with Care Credit. I handed the card over and decided that I can call my insurance to make sure there wasn’t any errors on the bill at a later time. She returned with a smirk and stated that my Care Credit card was declined and asked if I had another credit card. I have 6k (unused) on this credit line. I begin to call Care Credit for an explanation. Again, not an uncommon thing to do when a card is declined. Your employee displayed impatience with this approach and asked me a second time if “I just don’t have another credit card.” At this point I just want to leave and never come back again. So I fold and give her my Chase credit card to end this transaction. After speaking with my Care Credit representative, I confirmed that I was denied service in (at the employee) error. Apparently there is a certain way to charge services using Care Credit and you need to select it at the counter when swiping the card. Thanks. It was at this point that I realized, we were never given our contact starter kit (promised by the doctor). I walk back and knock on the door and was greeted with the very same dirty looks and attitude (same employee). I explained that we were not given our starter kit and explained what was told to me by the care credit representative. Her expression was not welcoming to the information. It was clear that she possibly declined me on purpose out of spite. She gave us the contact care kit just to get rid of us from her store. Clearly, our business is not welcome here. This time when we went, we had the last appointments, half way through our appointment, they started vacuuming the lobby. Dr. Vidulich did a great job with my yearly eye exam. He was very clear and thorough throughout the exam. I appreciated the time he took to make sure that I was getting the best prescription possible.

During the first visit I was charged an extra $30 for some kind of exam where they look behind my eye. That exam was optional but they never asked if I wanted it. they just did it and charged me. The receptionist had to wave the fee because I never even wanted that. The eye doctors were great but the women who work up front are not. They seem to have attitude problems. They don’t even smile and are not friendly at all. The wait is very long even if you have an appointment. I was seen by the doctor after waiting for an hour. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the doctors were very nice but everything else was not. I had to go back and get a whole different prescription because the first one was not right.
